The Band thats with Mike in the 'Chow Mein and Bowling' segment are the members of the Modern Folk Quartet, consisting of Jerry Yester, Chip Douglas, Cyrus Faryar and Henry Diltz.
Michael has a way of getting you back in touch with your deepest emotions, even in this light hearted film, there's a feeling he sends out us that reaches deep our hearts. Love you Michael, thank you for being you.
Wow... It's so weird, I watched this decades ago, but I still remembered nearly all the bits and even some lyrics! If anyone knows about any plans to re-release this in some modern format, please let me know, I'd be truly grateful--Michael was one of a kind.
Mike posted every single bit from the whole series on his Videoranch YT channel, but after he died they were all taken down. A couple of random episodes can be found on the Internet Archive if you punch in the right search terms.

Thank you for posting this. Mike Nesmith gave us a special that any generation can appreciate! God bless you, Mike.

I just love Nez! How a beautiful mind works for Nez is amazing and I say He was a special gifted Guy!
I made a Voyage of the Kona Tiki joke on a random webcomic, not realizing how hard it would be to find online, ty.
Thanks for the upload!
