Superb Review Paul. Thank you!! Expecting mine early next week. A lot of value on offer here with the accessories you get (cable, case, tips) plus looks a decent sub 100 Single DD set to boot. Thanks again..
Yes, a lot of value there but I didn't think that was the selling point. They did something cool, just happened to include a very nice cable as well. I didn't want to do it like Conch, even if you hate the sound, you still have a great cable.
@PaulWasabii yes didn't eq it. I usually listen flat. To give the true tuning of the iem. But one thing I noticed it's best it stays at 3.5mm termination the 4.4 is just too much power. Thanks again paul.
@boyseverino528 that's funny because I've been a little underwhelmed and bored by my EM6L but I was pleasantly surprised by the S2 which I primarily bought for fun and because of the cord and value. I wasn't expecting anything one way or the other, but if I had to return one I think I'd actually return the more expensive Simgot.
I would have preferred if they kept the non protruding red circle like the titan S. Though I think the sound signature is much better on this one for me.
Probably the cheaper one which has a bit more midbass, S2. Alba attracts folks who like their other IEMs, their headphones, their design. That put a slight premium on Alba and for folks who like Meze, it is worth the price. I would EQ both.
My advice, don't buy a bunch of 1DD in the same price range, they are going to be similar, tuning tweaks which you can try in EQ. Alba, you are buying the shell and Meze name but nice set. The compliments to 1DD are hybrids or planar.
Delci will be the more relaxed, warm set. S2 is at the other end, more upper range focus. Delci is the one when you don't know. S2 if you like more treble than bass

Just had mine a few days.. and i love the tuning. Great for jazz and deep house.very detailed..
Yeah, the DD is quite good. I have a couple nitpicks but as I said, I wouldn't EQ it if I didn't feel it was worth the time.

@@PaulWasabii it sounds similar to the simgot em6l.

@@Silence-and-Violencei said it sounds similar but not quite. We'll I would have done the same thing too.as u had. 😊
Great review, thanks! Now you have sparked my interest in this set, a tuning style I don't have. Looks like a good value package.
I kinda felt the same way, heard it and said this is something different. It is more noticeable if you have more diverse playlists.
Lyre Mini looks sick
It is but the stock cable is nice as well. I prefer full sleeved though
Nice review!
Nice accessories, and some bonus mid-bass, not sure where I fall on the treble tuning.
The treble will be similar to Simgot, people will buy S2 and enjoy it or sell it depending on how they get along with the treble.
I would have preferred if they kept the non protruding red circle like the titan S. Though I think the sound signature is much better on this one for me.
I'd guess they will do another color, but you are going to be stuck with design.
@@PaulWasabii yes of course a matte black variant would be nice.
Still have Titan S in my top 2 that I listen to... the other is the Kefine Delci. One more neutral/bright and the other more Harmanesque
Titan S is still a nice one. Kefine is doing their thing too, making sets people want to buy at the right price.
Nice review. This vs Meze Alba ?

Hi paul , would you say this set is better than the tanzgu xuan nv? If so , how?
Haven't heard the Tangzu but supposed to be a nice one
if i have moondrop KATO, which would complement better and why ? between meze alba or dunu titan s2 ?

@@PaulWasabii ok
How is it compared to sivga que ?
Titan S2 is a bit leaner and brighter
@PaulWasabii thanks for the feedback, does having both as a set a good idea ?
Titan S2 is suitable for which genre of music.
Sets that hug the Harman target tend to be better on vocal led genres. If your thing is EDM or heavy bass or bass led tracks, its not that.
How do you compare with Delci?
Delci will be the more relaxed, warm set. S2 is at the other end, more upper range focus. Delci is the one when you don't know. S2 if you like more treble than bass
@@PaulWasabii the titan s2 is like the simgot ew200?
