    Kathleen produces incredible patterns and exactly what I've been looking for the longest time. Thank you for sharing, I have no idea how or why I landed on this video but I am so pleased I did.

    What great info!! I would have never guessed that the process would be so easy and yet look so complicated. The double sided tape really makes the process quite doable.😍

    I nearly passed out...Lord! I’m supposed to be able to make that?? But you explained it so beautifully, I think I could. Thanks you.

    Wow! I love the double sided tape idea, and the hint about the raw edge toward the outside edge of a curve will be very helpful!

    Is there a way to get a template for the large Celtic knot that's on the quilt behind her? This video is excellent information! Exactly what I was looking for, but all I can find are simple templates. I love the detail on the quilt that's hung up.

    I would like to see more of how to continue piecing the tubes. I'm sure you have some good ideas on how to smoothly weave under. Do you place it before you start stiching? How much do you stick down before stitching?

      Hi - I think taking a looks at a playlist from one of our earlier episode will help - here i will show you how i make the bias stems and how i stitch them down with Invisible machine applique. ruclips.net/video/IVwnXC5y8qM/видео.html

    How do you put the bias pieces UNDER the over pieces? You start where the bias is under another over piece. You then place it as far as you can until it goes under another one.

      It takes some planning, getting the unders and overs to work just right but it's very fun to do. Here is the video we did on OnPoint-TV that shows Nancy's technique - it might help explain :)

    Is the tape washable? Im concerned about that in case the wall art or bed quilt needs washing.

    • @talllala
      @talllala 5 лет назад

      I would think you get it professionally dry cleaned. But she did say the tape was water soluble so I imagine it would wash away in the machine, which should theoretically be fine as long as your hand stitching was secure.

    What fusible tape is she using for the tubes? Can't see it.

    • @QuiltingWithNancy
      @QuiltingWithNancy  5 лет назад

      Hi Rachel, i don't think Kathleen used fusible tape, she basted. When i do this technique like on my Quilted Tiles videos i use Roxanne's Basting glue - Nancy

      @@QuiltingWithNancy I've researched that and thank you for the reply. Now... where do you find the tube pressor. I've looked online and at a couple shops. What is the official name of the product? Maybe I can narrow down from there. I've done it without one, but that would make it so much better. I'm considering using a thin cardboard at this point.

      Hi Michelle - I don't remember what the gal used in the video but here is a link to what I use - I used to use the Collins brand but it isn't around any more.
