I used to love how Rare would put things like Christmas trees in their winter stages. They did it in this game but also in Banjo Kazooie and Diddy Kong Racing.
Well, this game surely has better playability than most games today. It's all graphics and endless video sequences, and long-drawnout missions that take millions of years. I like old intense games like this, to the point and lots of action. It has soul. Most newer games don't. Just made to make money.

I was little and was scared of the snake boss, it didn't help that the fact that I was playing alone and every time I seen My character cry in pain as he was being eaten, soon I got to the part where the snake does rapid attacks, never have I ever felt so helpless... As the snake ripped my health to nothing with every time I put in a coin. it was a terrible experience. But I remember my brother who was the best player I knew not only kill they boss by himself, but with no damage at all. I played a rash and he was zit. I remember him playing it a little more, then I fell asleep. That's all I remember.
What kind of drugs were they on when they decided to NOT give this game a home console port? If it was the violence, then how come Mortal Kombat and Splatterhouse got ported?
The Game master The SNES would have struggled a lot with this game. It would have had to be severely cut in animations and amounts of enemies on screen. Just compare Battletoads in Battlemaniacs with this one and you'll see what I mean. This would have been better suited for a 32-bit console like the Sega Saturn or the PlayStation.
Yeah, the originally intended boss for the snow level was going to be Admiral Oink, who is actually showed dressed as Santa Claus in the hall of pictures in the fifth level (where the boss is Big Blag). This was pretty much confirmed by Gregg Mayles. And I wasn't implying that someone could do a port now for those systems, but back in the day when it still wasn't an old game.

They need to make a complete collection of every single beat'em up game ever made and make it for download or on a disc for people who grew up playing them!

it could be another legend like donkey kong country returns. imagine a battletoad games with actual button combos, hundreds of smash hits, hundreds of objects and weapons, hundreds of death animations, 100 diverse levels with 100 bosses who destroy you, and like 20 difficulty levels with a world rank list where the hardest difficulties have like 5 people on the planet who can beat them.
I had watched the cartoon pilot and kind of am glad that the creator hadn't created it. I could write a better story on a napkin :P These guys are way too epic. If anyone ever decides to reboot the series I could pitch in my ideas :P

Do you know a specific time in the video where it shows this? There is a jump attack which works differently on certain bad guys, or it shows up if one of the common bad guys is almost dead. I don't know of a way to do the running dash attack in the air.

That just happened to be the setting I used, although it makes little difference to me if it's on or not. If I do record the game again, I will turn on blood for variety.
+mateks1k There actually are SNES games that allow more than 2 player using the SNES multitap, however, this isn't one of them. This game was originally in arcades and was later rereleased on Xbox One in Rare Replay.

Oh I know how you could do a dash attack in midair you have to press the following -> jump -> under 1.20 seconds
