thanks so much Debs, we said this would be a three month experimental break away from the old format and away from hiking and we certainly intend to stick to that. We know that hiking will return to this channel at some point to cover the hikes we will do on holidays or in famous places but we are hoping to learn enough and try out enough new styles of presenting in the mean time that when we do a hiking video it will be very different from the ones we have done in the past. we are having a wonderful time doing these new videos and in all honesty we are covering so much ground getting all the footage we are getting the miles in too. we probably walked six miles going from one end to the other several times! that Heritage trail alone is honestly a days worth of walking, whoever designed it was very sadistic, it is ridiculously spread out and has you walking up and down the Cliffs like a lunatic to see them all in sequence! thats one of our very first shots, great memories, seems like two lifetimes ago now, did i never have hair? 🧐 have an awesome weekend, all our love to you both on your adventures xx
good evening nick and jill. you blokes are so great. i look forward to seeing your videos every week. life for me is very hard right now. but your videos bring me much enjoyment. you are the best mates a bloke could have. have a good weekend
Hi Kenneth sorry to hear life is hard for you at the moment hope things get better for you, try and stay positive and keep your chin up! glad we are able to give you enjoyment through our videos! you are a true friend and your support is incredible, thank you, take care and keep in touch, much love to you across the pond ❤️
Absolutely a wonderful place to explore. That is an awesome and interesting place. So many great displays, planet park, sculpture trail and more. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy the day my friend...
Ah we love Whitby, this was so lovely to see. We need to check out pannet park next time. Loved the squirrel, he looked so pissed off you had no food! Oh wow we didn’t know those sculptures were part of a trail. Yes, our breakfast shop, the Cornish bakery! I think you need to name your board Brenda! If she’s going to keep appearing she needs a name! That pasty looked lush! Wow it’s busy! 2p falls - the best!!! Now sanitise!! Great icecream - glad you didn’t scare it! Bad times on the milkshake. Great you got the pier to yourselves. We love the 199 steps. There is loads to do there. We love it. Great video guys. 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Brenda Board! yes we love that, it will hopefully be making many a return feature, if you buy food, particularly to share it has to be cut in half for that camera reveal of its innards! yes plenty of sanitiser after those 2p falls, long since shops and arcades have stopped offering it so it is a case of remembering to pack it! We went on a Saturday and the main town was very busy but it didn’t hamper our filming. have an awesome weekend! ♥️ 🍻
Love the way you have created an atmosphere throughout your film. We can feel the Energy here 😂👍 That Cornish pastie looks amazing.😋👍 Spotted your icon on @Scootlady chicago and initially though you were an American channel. 🤣😂 It's a big sub from us ✅🔔
Fabulous video, enjoyed seeing the lesser known spots in Whitby, but also seeing the town, the arcades, the pastry and ice cream shop, btw, mmmm 🍨 Jill's ice cream looked so yummy! Love all the information you share, always interesting - that picture was cute of you two! another expertly filmed and narrated/presented video you two! Thank you xx
thank you so much Alessa, since filming this ive found out they have a retro arcade hidden away above one of the arcades, im going to have to revisit to see that! yes the ice cream was the best but that milkshake was shocking! one of the very first photos of us together that, did I never have hair? by the way we got our confirmation email from English Heritage, only took a fortnight, i think there is info on there that will allow us to book things before our pack arrives. they were running a discount offer which im guessing they had been inundated with, hence the delays. i was hoping to visit Helmsley Castle and Riveaux Abbey today but it is heavy thunder and lightning so im waiting for the first dry day to go! excited though, we shall have your expert knowledge and guidance sat on our shoulders. we have learnt so much from your amazing channel it will help us to appreciate what we see so much more. xx
What a great video. We sure want to visit Whitby now as you have shown us so much more. We could even get the train there, which would make a change!! 199 steps, my legs are aching already! Ha ha, thank you for sharing
What an incredible journey through Whitby! 🌊🏰 From the stunning sculptures to the picturesque Pannett Park, you've truly captured the essence of this captivating town. The informative narration and editing skills make your videos even more enjoyable to watch. 😊📷 I appreciate the attention to detail and the effort you put into showcasing the hidden gems of Whitby. It's amazing how much you can explore on a budget and still have an unforgettable experience. Keep up the fantastic work, and I'm looking forward to your next adventure! 🎥🌟
Hi Nick and Jill, back at Whitby Woohoo. Really enjoyed the look around the art gallery. The park is very pretty, the squirrel was very cute and enjoyed looking at the sculptures. The pastry shop was full of goodies, ice cream looked yummy with the beautiful sea views in the background. What a gorgeous photo of you both,. Why weren't you puffing when you got to the tops of the steps ha ha , we would have been near collapsing!! Great place to spend a day, thank you for sharing you lovely pair, take care x Julie and Tony x
All the times we have been to Whitby and I never seen or known about the sculpture, really great facts also. Whitby in the sunshine what can be better.
Very informative, so much to see without spending a fortune...and a lovely sunny day and you even found a gate of the week! Thanks for sharing, ATB Alistair 👍
thank you so much Alistair, its getting harder and harder to find gates on the places we are visiting at the moment! hope your having a wonderful weekend, we have days of storms forecast and going on right now, hope its better weather on your side! 👍
@@GENerationXplorers We've got storms forecast as well and it's very hot and humid... thoroughly unpleasant!...an easy day for us weekends are often spent at home these days as everywhere is so busy ☹️ Enjoy your weekend, ATB Alistair 👍
Now every time we watch your videos we're gonna crave Cornish pasties. And we'll be singing your song, of course. Because you've conditioned us and we wouldn't have it any other way. What's better than food and music, right? This was an absolutely lovely adventure as always and hanging with y'all is 100% worth 17 minutes of our lives anytime 👏
Jen & Drew you are just two very gorgeous individuals, we’ve conditioned you?…..hold on a minute think it is by far the other way round! Although we could never hit the fein dining standards we love and adore throwing in a sing song or two to make it fun need to get our thinking caps on song wise as visiting the UK’s top rated fish and chip shop soon (spoiler alert) 🤣 have a great weekend guys, much love across the pond 🇺🇸🇬🇧❤️
Lots of awesome things to do in Whitby. Love the pier and the fun games, places to eat…great views. Love ❤️ the photo of you 2. Wonderful video. Thank you. 👍😊🇨🇦
Lots to do in this area very nice to see the ship and man that bridge was busy. Good looking milk shake and ice cream... Interesting to hear what it tastes like. Yes I prefer my milkshake a little thicker too. Looks like you found some great solitude by the pier. Very beautiful. Interesting about the benches. 😆 The church was beautiful. And the stunning view. The sculpture lol😅 love it. I want ice cream now
really gave a good insight into the heritage of the town. its a very spaced out trail though, id say that might be the only thing you get done in a day there!
Great vlog, guys. Whitby looked a good bit warmer than the last time I was there in February. I wondered how you got to the lower level on the pier, thanks for the info. 😊
yes apparently you can get to the lower levels on both sides. it is quite glorious in the summer but then you do have the crowds, the town itself was mental (we were there on a Saturday though)
Great tour guys its such a lovely place. Love the cheeky little edits you are putting in like you and jills flash back moment. The wking up the steps was great the way you done that and it seems there never is a quiet tlme in whitby its so popular all year round.its great to see this new direction you are do in is getting great views. Have a greatweekend and speak soonx
thank you so much Simon, yes this is still in our “experimental” phase but really enjoying it. the only slow burning one has been my cornish pasty taste off last week but in numbers its beaten any hiking video ive ever done in its time period so far, so its a no brainer really.. do i walk miles and miles or stay in my kitchen and compare two types of food? well o certainly will pick the latter if im stuck for content! gosh Whitby is always busy, never a quiet moment. we are coming up to another Steampunk event but as it falls in this three month period of experimentation i want to do it very differently. i want to chop out all the excessive fodder and get straight into it. think it will be B Roll footage of Whitby into you can hear a preliminary conversation of us talking to steampunks, with the B Roll clearing to show us in full interview mode, possibly in some attire interviewing our first steam punks. that interview will end, then i will introduce us, then we will crack on interviewing more steampunks. we are appealing to a larger audience now and im sincerely grateful to each and everyone that has come onboard and watched. have an awesome weekend, catch you soon xx
Love the sculptures. Was that Woman a Fish Wife Loved the Sculptures. That was a bit cheeky of me. Pasties.....Yummy! I will have a Raspberry Ripple ice cream in a Waffle Comb please. Nice little Lighthouse. Nice views from the top of 199 steps. Love St Mary's, but imagine carrying a coffin up those stairs. Great day out and not an expensive day out. Yeah! Winner. Have a great weekend Nicholas and Jill.
thank you so much Joseph, yes a literal woman fish wife, their lives and those of their husbands must have been very difficult. such a handed down and important tradition, to this day its still a very important part of our culture! Raspberry Ripple coming up! Carrying a coffin up those steps, especially on a warm day? no wonder they needed those coffin rests, this surely isn’t a practice that continues? it really is hard to spend money when there is so much to see and do for free. there is a historic open top tour bus that goes around Whitby all day and for one price you can get on and off it as many times as you like but I kept missing it. We would have paid to ride that for a while as it would have made for a fun inclusion! hope your having an amazing weekend! love Nick and Jill xx
A great tour of the lovely Whitby. I'll have to hunt out the park on our next visit and find a few more of the heritage sculptures. You can't beat a bench with a view. Oooh a pasty, delicious! Hope you both have a great week 💜
Loved the tour. The replica (ship) was a treat. That statue walk is so my thing. Loved it. The massive crowd crossing the bridge was because? We had Cornish pastry in Cornwall and one out of Cornwall. I know what my favourite was. Loved the sign on the ice cream freezer. The photo from times gone by- awesome memory. Whitby looks like a lovely place to visit. The East Pier walk was cool. Wow, 199 steps. Awesome. Great video. Enjoyed my watch time. 👍😎🇳🇱🙋♀🇳🇿🌺
Thanks Anita for your lovely comment! The bridge had just been closed to the general public to allow the boats through so the crowds gather either side waiting to cross when it reopens! Glad you got to sample a Cornish pastry in Cornwall! Have a great week 👍❤️
Love the ship, that is so cool! Pannett Park looks so lovely to explore. That massive clock is so cool and a lovely art gallery! Love the sculpture trail, so cool. Whitby looks like such a lovely area! Wow! Great tips on what to do on a budget here. I have never had a Cornish Pasty before (since I've ever been to Cornwall haha!) they are bigger than I expected! So glad it's one of the best you have ever had, I would love to try it. Yum! Looks great! Mmm ice cream! "Don't tap on glass it scares the ice cream LOL". Too bad the milkshake wasn't thick enough but the ice cream looks good! Beautiful footage at the pier too. Lovely! 199 steps love that you counted them haha, I would be more out of breath haha! Amazing views, wow! Thanks for sharing with us! Amazing day :)
Hi Jill and Nick! The pear tree sculpture was very cool. I love the story of the chappie who helped to get rid of the death penalty by getting offenders to plant hedges! Brilliant! Yum, Cornish Pasties 😋 Lovely views from the pier. You pair are so cute 💞 Btw, I've now typed three different versions of the word pear/pier/pair 😂 Well, it amused me! Have a brilliant weekend ~ Julie & Lucy ❤
Mashallah tremendous and looking outstanding😊💐 such a beautiful video🌸🤗 thanks for sharing this fully watch😊✅ I am impressed by watching your video❤️👍👍 have a nice day😍 best of luck❤️ stay connected stay tuned👍
Thank you for the tour of this beautiful town . I loved the museum. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to more videos in the future. Have a great day my friend.
Not many art galleries are free around here...do enjoy when they are. Most of our local community museums are free, so wandering some of the grounds are nice. Love the street sculptures for sure! Pasty does look good and looked well enjoyed too! I can feel my anxiety rising over that bridge...yikes, people! lol Oh dear, them cracks would do Otis in for sure...as long as he can't see through he is okay, but as soon as he can, it's a no go. But we're working on it, and sometimes with a little convincing he eventually makes it...but that looked like a longer walk over cracks than he has ever done, so the under route would be more to his liking. That really was quite the day! Amazing!! Bruce and Otis
its an amazing place Paul and one that even on the busiest day you can escape the crowds if you want to venture out on a world class coastal hike or set foot on the Piers. if you stay in town and visit on a Saturday (like we did) it can be stressful. you will see all the expected of a busy seaside resort and some of it not pleasant. mid week possibly one of the best places in the UK! 👍
🤣🤣 yep no reason to bother visiting it’s all here 🤣 no please Whitby we could visit a million times over its amazing and highly recommend it but with you saying anymore I reckon you have been and loved it 😉 thanks for your awesome comment….have a great week 👍
Whitby looks beautiful in the sunshine, great job on showing that's there's so much to do without spending a lot on money. See the crowd on the bridge crossing it seems that it's a well loved town!
I'm glad you found a quiet place on the pier, I guess, the crowds can get a bit overwhelming. I recognise those 199 steps from your previous videos, what a leg pumper! The St. Mary's church is a little gem with those views! The Abbey looks good too! x
ive finally got my English Heritage welcome code so I can now venture inside all these amazing places! will be returning to that Abbey and having a good look around in the near future! Whitby on a Saturday can be a very “colourful” place, we spoke to a few locals and they are keen to point out they don’t venture into the town on a weekend anymore. the bars and pubs attract quite the lively out of town crowds, we were there in the daytime and there was a lot of fisticuffs and effing and jeffing everywhere! but its easy to avoid, a walk on the Pier or up to the Abbey or in the Park and its just stunning.
Ha, pastie tasting is a very serious business indeed. I have to say, they do look very good! Nom! I liked the heritage trail, with the figures pointing to the town's history. I wish I didn't live so far away from the coast. Lots to do and see in Whitby! Thanks Nic and Jill! x
Sigh, we do enjoy the coastal air! i did live in Oxford for a while and as beautiful a place as it was I hated being away from the sea! the weather can be so oppressive inland, very different from the coast! its a great trail isn’t it? really provides an insight into how important fishing has been and still is for the local community. its a cleverly designed trail but it does put you through your paces. id say its probably three miles from start to finish and it takes you up and down the Cliffs seemingly just for annoyance at time! hope your having a great weekend!
People let's CHECK IT OUT these amazing videos of Jill and Nick. Always great to watch. Jill and Nick you nailed it again. A super great day ...thanks for the share. Always present to watch your channel. Exorcist is coming on 19 july for you guys.
Great tour & wealth of information guys. “ Insipid “ that’s a new one for me Nick I’m going to store that one 🧠 hopefully I won’t have to use it but it’s there just incase 🧐
B R I L L I A N T 😍 Loved the sculptures, the gorgeous town and seafront, but the cream of the crops was that photo of you and Jill when you first met 😁👌♥️
An thank you so much Phil. Did i never have hair? Yes that was only a few months in. Imagine a girl so lovely that i could whisk her away from her hometown of Manchester and delight her with Whitby time and time again? And then make a life changing move to that area only a few years later? Im a lucky chap! Thank you so much for watching and great comment, hope your having a wonderful weekend. PS, we used to come here on “photography holidays”, the shot is a famous one by Frank Meadow Sutcliffe who i was a big fan of for many years. Back then we would be up at dawn to get some pretty fine photos. Its lovely to see you doing the very same thing now ♥️
@@GENerationXplorers you are certainly a lucky chap, Nick, but I’m sure Jill feels exactly the same 😁👍♥️ And I can only imagine she absolutely loves the move because that part of the coast is just stunning. Sadly, I’ve not visited that area much at all, but your videos make me want to go up there and take a good look around. 👍
@@PhilipOlsen11 we feel the EXACT same way about the places you are showing us. We honestly did not know they existed. You are putting them well and truly on the map ♥️ 📷
Hi Nick and Jill, I am here because Watto recommended your channel. And I'm glad he did, you've got a great selection of videos from your exploring 👏 +1 Sub. All the best, Chris in Wiltshire 👍
Such a picturesque and vivid presentation guys, that ship is simply majestic as well as a clock! This place is full of things to see and you filmed everything just beautifully!!!
Great tour Nick lots of people and lots of good vibe as a result (definitely sold Whitby to me 🤠👍) The pasty looked great (wonderfully cut open Jill 😊👍) Thanks 🙏🏼 Best regards Simon 🤠👍
Thank you so much Simon, it might be a bit out of your way, but i can promise you Whitby will not disappoint, would love to see you cover this iconic area. We are back in a couple of weeks to cover steampunk but i can guarantee you we will indulge in another Pasty, even off screen. Impossible to fault ♥️
We are off to Hornsea for the very first time today. We have seen it has just won Fish and Chip shop of the year, is there a better reason to visit a place? 🧐
Let's doooo thiiiis, here is me face, catching up on all the videos :D Whitby, sounds almost like Visby, but I'm sure you don't pronounce it the same way I might in my little head :) Looks like an amazing place though guys! Great weather, even GREATER ship, really it looks like the Götheborg ship, I had the luck to go onboard that one once, but I wasn't making videos yet, what a shame... Love th park and the promenade as well! wonderful places :)
thank you so much Bogi, yes we love Whitby although we do seem to be there our fair share. this weeks is a return there for the steampunk festival! its a pity we weren’t making videos earlier in life, so many great places we will have to return to! hope your both well ♥️🚲
The Cornish pastry is very delicious looking. Here in the USA you don’t see that type of food sold in most restaurants. Mostly Hamburgers Hot dogs and pizza . Thank you for exposing us all to different foods and places. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to more wonderful videos in the future. Have a nice day Nick and Jill , this is Creepofreek saying so long folks.
hey Creepofreek we have had a few of our YT friends from across the pond 🇺🇸 say the same! we love learning about different foods from different places! Have a great weekend and catch you soon 👍
Brilliant video nice looking place whitby. So many nice locations and views . Thanks for showing us around Generation Xplorers Generation Xperiences 👍 👍
Enjoy the video Nick and Jill. Always something interesting to do there. I so love to new food and that meat and potato pastry looked so good. I remember seeing the pier in another video, I think Watto's. Nice place for a quiet walk. The view from atop the hill never gets old. I looked up the heritage pass, not cheap is it? Thanks for sharing another fine video.
That was the best ever film I’ve ever seen of Whitby and you didn’t mention Bram Stoker & Dracula once👍 The stone circle actually dates back to the physronician period. Loved the sculpture trail and art gallery👍 You both present these films so well together and what a beautiful gate of the week. I’ve only just noticed that you only have 922 subscribers, I always thought you were up in the hundreds of thousands? People don’t know what their missing. This is without doubt a FIVE STAR FILM ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ❤️Mike
Thank you so much Mike, im glad your expert eye has been able to date accurately the stone circle, thats very helpful! thank you so much for these generous words, we are still amazed and eternally grateful for the 922 we have, its a real honour. Hope your having an awesome weekend and we await with baited breath the chat or rant this evening. WHY IS IT? why is it there are storms everywhere this weekend? im petrified of lightning and want to go out!
Hi guys, loved the look around Whitby and that replica ship is great. Panett Park is too, fantastic clock ! So good that the art gallery is free as some charge, and the museum is quite a good price too. Loved the reuse of the pear tree into the owl sculpture and that heritage sculpture trail would be a good thing to do. Back at the Cornish Pasties eating I see 🤭and with a great view like last time you had a pasty 😃 Interesting to have the two piers there together like that and aww cute photo of you both from when dating. Liked the lighthouse and the Nick sculpture was very impressive 😄 Sooo many steps to St Mary's Church though which is so beautiful and worth counting for the views of the piers. The Abbey is spectacular I've seen this on other videos too, very interesting history . There is just so much to do here and you hardly spent anything ! Thanks for the tour, you covered a lot 🙂👍~ Anna ❤
thank you so much Anna! im pretty sure the £6 to the Museum grants you a years access too so it really does represent good value for money. sorry for the deja vu with the Cornish Pasty tasting 😂 i do promise thats the last time we will pull a stunt like that although almost 400 views in your possibly the first to notice! with one lovely viewer saying that this Pasty looks better than the two we had last week! 😂 20 years old that photo and I still had no hair! we have just got our English Heritage welcome code so we will be delving into that Abbey and many places like it very soon! hope your having a wonderful weekend and have plenty more camping trips planned! ♥️🏴
@@GENerationXplorersHehe I specifically remember the pasty spot with a view from last week as I really liked the view ! You'll have to make a thing of it " Pasty with a view " 😄 Have a good week :) ❤
I have to say, the pasty looked better than both of the ones from last week! Very busy there as usual in Whitby. Great pic of the both of you, great memories ❤ how long ago was that if yoh dont mind me asking? Very cool that you can go under the pier too. Definitely a top place for a day out, looking forward to going back ❤
id highly recommend the Cornish Bakery in Whitby. £5 for a large Cornish Pasty that was cooked fresh to order, we had to return twenty minutes later for it to be ready, a real treat! the photo is from twenty years ago now! 😱 it’s definitely a nice place to hang out under the pier, think its supposed to be for the fishermen but they all prefer the West Pier! hope your having a great weekend!
Never even knew there was an Art Gallery and Museum in Whitby and free too...oh wait £6 for the Museum :o(. I must have walked passed some of those sculptures on the Heritage Tail umpteen times and never noticed them, too busy thinking about fish n chips and Whitby jet for Mrs Metalman. I remember that pasty from the other week and think at the time how nice it looked and totally agree with you now on Mr Chips, our new favourite for Whitby fish n chips. WOW ice creams have shot up in price mind, think I will have to stick to fudge from the indoor market. Never been on the East Pier due to the lack of seats and me being lazy, I need a sit down after my fish n chips but loved the dating photo! Whitby has always been a 5 for me, glad to hear you both agree, cheers Alan
that Sculpture trail Alan, i will tell you now that does take a full day, we were running around like lunatics to complete it and we had printed off the accompanying map. not a pleasurable day unless you are very determined but the history behind it all was very fascinating! ah Whitby Jet, we are always on the lookout to find Jills Mum a nice new piece, she loves it. Mr Chips, hands down beats the Magpie, they cook chips only on order, the fish is on par across Whitby though. Claras comes out top on tripadvisor for ice creams, we were very disappointed, whilst not terrible, they only have the high scores because they command the best views in Whitby. oh you will find seats on the East Pier, but your very accurate the West Pier is wall to wall seats but also very busy, the seagulls love it over on the West Pier too so expect to share whatever you have bought! Whitby has been a place close to my heart my entire life, im the luckiest chap on the planet that I have been able to convince Jill that it should also be closest to hers. we have had some amazing times there and from our first visits they probably defined who we have become today. Whitby is a solid 5, cant live without it in my life ♥️
Its always such a delight to watch your videos, your enthusiasm while making the video really makes me keep watching you both, loved the video and thanks for such an amazing tour...
you two make every destination seem like it would be a great time. your energy is just so infectious! although this location i would definitely hit a sculpture walk. not everyone has a huge budget or thinks you have to have one no matter where you travel. the pasties looked so delicious. see you next time! 🛴❤
I thought I knew Whitby quite well but actually I hadn’t seen a few of those spots. Haha like the tree hugging 😂 I hadn’t seen quite all the heritage trail sculptures. Do love the pasty shop though it’s great 😊 weeee bridge twirl! And yes I agree Jill the cracks always make me a bit uneasy 😅
Got to be the most iconic graveyard in the world. You can't not write Dracula after visiting that. Best wishes. New Jam Butty episode up with my accent!

Cool stone circle with all the markings on it. Wow, those sculptures looks amazing. Thanks for showing some amazing places to visit.
Thanks for watching Thomas thought you’d like the stone circle 👍 hope you are having a great weekend ❤️

Definitely, thank you 👍
Love the way you have created an atmosphere throughout your film. We can feel the Energy here 😂👍
That Cornish pastie looks amazing.😋👍

Thanks so much Paulo and Kath for popping over from the lovely Scootlady’s channel! look forward to checking out yours! have a great week ahead ❤️

Thank you! You too! ❤️
Oorrr thanks guys, lovely comment! Hope you have had a great weekend, have a great week ahead! 👍❤️
Very nice 👍 video beautiful pier , and delicious food
Thank you 😋
All the times we have been to Whitby and I never seen or known about the sculpture, really great facts also. Whitby in the sunshine what can be better.
Well you’ll just have to go again to check them out 🤣 like you need an excuse to revisit when it is a special place for you both! 👍
@@GENerationXplorers We've got storms forecast as well and it's very hot and humid... thoroughly unpleasant!...an easy day for us weekends are often spent at home these days as everywhere is so busy ☹️
Enjoy your weekend, ATB Alistair 👍
Yes i bet the Lakes is absolutely rammed at the moment, maybe the storms will chase off the tourists?
@@GENerationXplorers I haven't been North of Kendal for about 6weeks so only have 2nd hand info... but yes everyone I speak to says it's mad!
I can only imagine, we are in the first stages of planning a winter break there. Hopefully with less crowds and lots of snow! 🤞
Loved this Nick + Jill! Really nice view from the 199 stairs! Also a good little workout. :)
Yes it really is! Thank you Eva ❤️
Excited to watch this one... because we really need to get to Whitby!
Whitby is in a class of its own, its constantly busy though, i might even advise against visiting on a Saturday!
@@GENerationXplorers to me, every day is a Saturday. Except Sunday! Lol
We can visit whenever is convenient... but probably next year 😉
Now every time we watch your videos we're gonna crave Cornish pasties.

Oh, a sculpture trail is a great idea!👍
really gave a good insight into the heritage of the town. its a very spaced out trail though, id say that might be the only thing you get done in a day there!
@@GENerationXplorers I love how it emphasized the fishing heritage!

Thank you so much 🤗
Love the sculptures.

Could not hold a candle up to yours Richard, and that milkshake? It was vile!
Hello my friend, it was a wonderful trip again, it was nice to discover new places with you.✨45✨
Thank you so much 👍 have a great day ❤️
Loved the tour.
@@GENerationXplorers aaaah yes those boaties and the bridges. Is a constant activity here too. A well known phenomena in NL. 🇳🇱
Thanks so much to you both it was a great day! Hope your week is off to a good start 👍❤️
Hi Jill and Nick! The pear tree sculpture was very cool. I love the story of the chappie who helped to get rid of the death penalty by getting offenders to plant hedges! Brilliant! Thanks for the sub and lovely comment! it’s a pleasure to meet you ❤️
Not many art galleries are free around here...do enjoy when they are.
We feel Otis’ pain those cracks were very scary! thanks guys much love ❤️
Great tour. Enjoyed that. Saw a different side to Whitby and in fabulous weather. Maybe one day I will pay a visit myself 👍
its an amazing place Paul and one that even on the busiest day you can escape the crowds if you want to venture out on a world class coastal hike or set foot on the Piers. if you stay in town and visit on a Saturday (like we did) it can be stressful. you will see all the expected of a busy seaside resort and some of it not pleasant. mid week possibly one of the best places in the UK! 👍
And now I don't need to visit Whitby anymore 😂😂. But seriously - amazing movie. I loved the pier shots! 😍😍
🤣🤣 yep no reason to bother visiting it’s all here 🤣 no please Whitby we could visit a million times over its amazing and highly recommend it but with you saying anymore I reckon you have been and loved it 😉 thanks for your awesome comment….have a great week 👍

greetings to you in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 have a great weekend and thanks for your support 👍

😱 it’s definitely a nice place to hang out under the pier, think its supposed to be for the fishermen but they all prefer the West Pier! hope your having a great weekend!
amazing trip enjoy
Thanks! 😃
