Wow Ashley, that's a game changer, I know we discussed this on a Sunday Night live a while ago but seeing Embrilliance in action is amazing. I bought my Brother V5 and CM900 to do this but its not possible. Great demo, Thank you
I’d love a Brother V5, you can do this with a CM900, just apply the HNB onto the back of the fabric/felt etc and cut with your normal at and blad, peel the backing off the HNB and stick it onto the mat HNB side to mat
13:56 includes the small heart attached to his hat that you accidently deleted when you were going through what files you had but it was gone by 13:58 after you paused (just in case you didn't intentionally delete it)! Thanks for this lesson, I didn't think of using the embroidery program to create the cutting file - I've not got to that point in using it yet. I do prefer to trim in the hoop once it's tacked down as I feel that there is a little more security but this function would be great for making a matching tag or card to accompany the gnome stitched on something as a gift.
The tiny heart is just embroidered, it's not appliqué. I made this video several weeks ago i think originally i thought at the time i needed a cut file for it and them later realised i didn't need it. That could explain why i deleted it
good job ASHLEY, Just a thought you could change the size of your cutting screen area and keep all your cutting pieces on the mat, and move the pieces you are going to use into the cutting area and the rest will be left in the grey area., so you don't have to keep deleting and retrieve the data..

I usually open the file in embrilliance and when open then save it immediately with a different but similar title then it’s safe
I do that too sometimes.
Can this be done in Bernina software or only Embrilliance?
I only use Embrilliance so I really don’t know I’m sorry
Great informative video 🥰 your tutorials is so easy to follow, I love the adorable gnome ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
