Mannnn as a fellow Texan, FACTSSSSS!!! 🗣 Made a video on this a while back, so much I could say. Aint it funny how they acronym and "delineate" themselves to death and then "tether" their way into a unique lived experience? TF is a man from BOSTON and his white friend doing making a Juneteenth flag?! 🤣 I even had cats from NYC tryna educate ME like... _"Ayo B, the correct colors are Red White and Blue. Deadass"_ -- so my entire life has been a lie? 🫠

I never understood how the so called Juneteenth flag didn't incorporate RBG colors. Therefore I never accepted it as legit.
There's a slow and slick attempt to try and make Juneteenth into another 'Memorial Day' situation under the guise of 'inclusivity'. Them folks never liked that it wasn't a holiday that they could profit off officially and that it was a day that Black people use to assemble together.
That's why they made it into holiday, Black people weren't asking for it, corporation's were.

Yeah I noticed that too. Like it’s the Black “ Memorial Day”. Hated it soon as they made it a federal holiday.

@@Peterparkertx My point about Memorial Day is that I never knew the origins of the day until many years later. They were able to 'whitewash' it and it wasn't taught in school that this was the day that formerly enslaved Africans remembered those who fought and died.

Don’t be mad because you’re a primitive old head who live in some degenerate northern city called Chicago. The Juneteenth flag origins has been around since 1870 and if you study jubilee or Juneteenth celebrations, the colors have always been red white and blue especially in Mississippi, South Carolina, Louisiana, etc., a.k.a. the black American South, these primitive African colors only exist up north particularly in these immigrant hubs Chicago, New York Most black Americans live in the black American south and never left. Unlike y’all primitive people who ran up north just to fail.
