50 Years of Service

Sgt. Maj. Anthony Cruz and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Justina Cruz retired from the Marine Corps June 1, 2018 at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Arlington, Va. Together they have 50 years of combined Marine Corps service and have been married for 12 of those years. Their combined experience has had them visit 24 duty stations.

No, honorable, intelligent, dedicated individuals who devote lives to crucial things, far “larger” than themselves. These two exceptional, outstanding Marines personify why this nation - despite our flaws, which we strive to correct - factually is exceptional.
I deeply thank CWO-3 and SgtMaj Cruz for their extraordinary service (and, having spent twenty years on active duty before I retired, this statement is more than an expression of sincere gratitude, it is also an acknowledgement of the GREAT and FREQUENT sacrifices they made for Corps and Country).

Married a sailor and was a sailor. I had a spinal cord injury and had to get out but hub stayed in. 25 yrs retired as O3E. I became a social worker with navy family services. I always said I was a sailor, a spouse and a educator. I cover all the bases. Still married 32 yrs later. I guess we military couples have strong commitments! Enjoy retirement. We are! Hemanth is the boss yes, my government teacher was full time. You'll just have to take like 3 weeks off twice a year. You should also probably look into this somewhere besides a RUclips comment section, the Marine Corps website has lots of helpful information
