This is a reaction that to me shows you’re a legit Periphery fan now; it must be tough to not just dive in to just listen to their discography. They are so good. Their song Stranger Things is a work of art
I still get goosebumps at that last high note. Heck the whole song is musically and spiritually brilliant from start to finish. It became one of my favorite songs of all time almost immediately.
Periphery is without a single doubt in my mind my favorite band of all time. As I’ve said many times before, they say “Hey, let’s make this thing slap” and they nail it every single time.
I LOVE seeing people experience the wonder of periphery for the first time, but sadly many don't seem to "get" it. TLM really gets it though. Such a pleasure to see. These guys are my favourite and this song is beautiful!
Is he a musician? It seems to me a lot of non musicians don't seem to get it when a band is this good. Hell even some musicians don't either depending on what they play
Thank you, so much, for your reaction. The more I get into Periphery, the more they enter my top 5 of all time. I have this album, and it is a masterpiece. They bring it all, clean vocals, transitions, orchestration, musicianship/skill, and playfulness/humor. That this band will just transition, naturally, into jazz, or fierce metal, they're incredible. Recently I learned that they even do one on one clinics and coaching for musicians, which is also incredible. Much love to you from VA.
Periphery is amazing, I can't say anything else just amazing The next one you might hear is "sentient glow" or "garden in the bones" There is still a lot of Periphery to enjoy
Finally some love for sentient glow. My fav periphery song list is literally Scarlet (first song i heard by them) Sentient glow 22 faces And wax wings now lol
Your reactions are always THE BEST!! It's like listening to these songs all over again for the first time! Great energy, I always keep coming back. Another band I think you'll really like, Sevendust. They have a new single, Fence, with a new album coming out in July!
@@jathanthmith1519bro for me it would be Wax Wings, Atropos, Silhouette and Thanks Nobuo. But the whole album slaps harder than any other IMO and I’ve been listening to them for like 10 or 12 years
You should listen to p1 or p2. Matt's drumming was on another level on those albums. He's always played what's most tasteful but p1 and p2 really let him go wild
Periphery is made up of 5 or 6 SUPER talented musicians/gearheads who came together to make music that they want to make. For over a decade now, they have continually pushed the boundaries of the genre while staying true to their roots. Periphery will forever be my all time favorite band and having seen them twice live, I can honestly die satisfied. Glad you dug Wax Wings because personally I cannot stop listening
Bugs me when people whine about his voice being too high. I used to be like that and I'm a stubborn mfer so if even I got over that shit, no one else has an excuse
This has to be one of the best rock songs ever written! So cool to watch you enjoy it for the first time. You should definitely check more. Reptile is a masterpiece. Cheers🤘
BROOOO you HAVE to listen to their song Ragnarok (the music video). It's got everything you'll love. PLEASE listen to it, there aren't enough reactions to it on here for how INCREDIBLE of a song it is. PLEASEEE I'd do anything to see it
I love that every time you go to summarize because you think its the end of the song, they just hit you with something else different that stops you in your tracks. That's basically Periphery fandom in a nutshell.
Periphery - Dracul Gras, Everything is Fine, Thanks Nobuo, Stranger Things, Facepalm mute, 22 Faces, Habitual Line Stepper, jetpacks is yes v2, Motormouth, Remain Indoors, are some suggestions I have.
There is a mashup between Katy Perry and Periphery. Unbelievably good combination, none of these individual songs has any business being this good in a combination.
Scrolling through RUclips recommendations after listening to Dream Theater and finding “Reptile “ as the first song to introduce me to periphery is the best thing that’s ever happened to me
Good ear. Yea Spencer doesn't use auto tune except for background vocals. The main vocal lines he just does a section until he has exactly what he wants and then moves to the next. And you can tell if you see their documentaries on making the albums that there's no autotune involved because they'll often show his final takes being recorded and they're identical to the record
Periphery songs to review: All New Materials, Jetpacks Was Yes, Heavy Heart, 22 Faces, Luck as a Constant, Absolomb, Flatline, Garden in the Bones, Blood Eagle, Reptile, It's Only Smiles.
I think this is an example of a harder song to get into, the entire first half's verse structure and the riffs and melodies being played are kind of hard to catch onto. Combined with Spencer's more pop style vocal delivery, it's kind of a mixture of sounds that can be confusing to the ear at first. So if you can appreciate it on your first listen...respect.
Bro got a very special one for you I know you will get super lit 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ~Straight line stitch- Remission ~Straight line stitch- Remission ~Straight line stitch- Remission ~Straight line stitch- Remission ~Straight line stitch- Remission Please do this my brotha won't be disappointed and you might need a need keyboard lmao
I couldn't even recommend another periphery song, just literally any of them. They're all great, some of them require a few listens to get in to, but they're all masterpieces. Except Crush. Crush is the lone B+ in a crowd of As
Hey man,i know you get a ton of requests and you cant do all of em all the time,im just tryin to be a homie an put my boys band out there to people who have an audience. Theyve worked super hard to be where they are,if anyone reads this, and you know what its like to be the underdog fighting its way to the top, please,go listen to Paronism - Born To Fail . Share it to everyone you know!!
This is a reaction that to me shows you’re a legit Periphery fan now; it must be tough to not just dive in to just listen to their discography. They are so good. Their song Stranger Things is a work of art
Love how spencers vocal cadence on stranger things has a micheal Jackson feel to it
we need stranger pt II
Agreed! Stranger Things is a masterpiece
Imo stranger things is top 3 easily and so is the song before it (Omega). Racecar is my favorite though
Spencer is one of the GOATs. All of Periphery are so talented it's ridiculous.
When I talk about Periphery, they're the only band that I say are "so talented its unfair to everyone else".
the goat
I live for the end of this song, the entire "the machines are turning me" part. Especially that last high note Spencer hits.
the last part of the song is so emotional it is crazy how good it is
@@stavomusicand it’s about POSITIVE emotional/spiritual development. We NEED this kind of music in our coming of age/recently adult generations
Periphery put more ideas into one song than some bands put into their entire discography
All hits no misses fr fr

Sentient Glow is my second P song, behind Absolomb 🐐
@@WHOREHAMMER_OFFICIALI love that song very much, its lyrics conveyed an important message to me and the song in general is incredible
Sentient Glow is ridiculous. Imo best song on p4 other than reptile
7:44 to 8:16 is just the most epic piece of music ever 🤣THE MACHINES ARE TURNING MEEEEEEE

What's your favorite from the album.....
I've given plenty of listens and I think atropos

Spencer for sure one of the best singers of this era, not even just in metal.
Bugs me when people whine about his voice being too high. I used to be like that and I'm a stubborn mfer so if even I got over that shit, no one else has an excuse

Been waiting on this cause funds are tight but when I can I promise we’re getting a lot more periphery in your ear my guy
This is their most beautiful song imo, and they have ALOT of beautiful ones.
Lyrically this song hits so hard.
This was beautiful and organic haha
Yes, I agree. "These songs are beautiful bro" I thought the ending was about to bring you to tears. Liked & Subscribed.
I love that every time you go to summarize because you think its the end of the song, they just hit you with something else different that stops you in your tracks. That's basically Periphery fandom in a nutshell.
