---------------
First introduced in 2012, the Bulgari Octo is one of the most striking watch creations of the last decade. Naturally, the impressive “Finissimo” saga that turned the Roman Maison into the master of ultra-thin mechanical watchmaking immediately comes to mind. But as its name suggests, the Finissimo is part of a larger family, the Octo. Its design combines angles, curves and a rounded octagonal shape with Bulgari’s sophisticated design. The brand now revisits the Octo Roma, with the idea to create an alternative to Finissimo. Indeed, the new Octo Roma is more versatile, less radical. If it feels more relaxed, sportier and sturdier while retaining the brand’s distinctive style. It comes in different models and with a new bracelet interchangeability system. We had the opportunity to meet with Antoine Pin, Managing Director of the Bulgari Watch Division, and Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, their Product Creation Executive Director to discover this tasteful re-design of the collection.

Yes so nice, exactly what I’m looking for in a new watch!
i have bought the octo roma atracita. its beautiful and super comfortable to wear. i really like it
They're very good! Enjoy the watch!
Octa Roma is high on my list of someday watches.
Excellent choice, very cool collection!
Awesome
Coooool!
Perfecto ❤
Nice improvement. But I still love diagono more, especially octo has no diver watches yet.
02:50 craftsman is also wearing a diagono LOL
The new Bulgari Octo Roma watch is priced at €7,900 and the Bulgari Octo Roma Chronograph is priced at €9,900 and all references come with a stainless steel bracelet and a color-matched rubber strap included.
Overpriced pieces that will be worth less than half of their purchase price right out of the store. They should stick to women’s jewellery , that’s what they are really known for ….Only a schmuck would buy a mens Bulgari watch , especially at full retail .
@@theoverlord1925 the Octo Finissimo is the most innovative watch of this century. Bulgari are at least trying something new, not just rehashing the same designs every year.
@@theoverlord1925The Octo Roma is a watch that feels easily like a $15k watch, yet is priced cheaper than even the most entry level Rolexes. It is a future classic, and great all around sports watch.
Wow. I asked for all these changes on the finissimo but glad they did it for the Octo. I would still prefer lume and strap choices on the finissimo but I understand now the difference in the lines. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Love the black chronograph with the rubber strap. But nice to also get the bracelet. I wonder which one is dressier?
To be fair, rubber isn't the most dressy options but neither is a steel bracelet. If you want to go down the really dressy route, leather is your best bet. But, from the options available on the Octo Roma, probably the metal bracelet will look best in most occasions.
@@Monochrome-watches Thank you.
I tried one on. It is brilliant! It makes me think of Laureato meets Alpine Eagle, but brought back to Gerald Genta in core inspiration. The anthracite one is especially nice. However, if a watch is timeless, what is it doing with a proprietary strap system? Because I suppose that that system won’t be supported forever…
The integrated strap system is something you see on a lot of brands these days. Future will tell if this is a permanent thing or not but for now, it looks like it will be.
Dont worry, as Bvlgari still supports diagono straps, and diagono lasts for 30 years already...
best
Nice. Prices?
Just below 8k for the time-and-date, and just below 10k for the chrono.
Now THAT is fair pricing for what you’re getting
Love the watch…BUT…the date window should be the same color as the dial. It is this way for the black, but for the blue, the date window is white. very disappointing, as I was thinking about buying the blue. 😢
That's how to do a review straight to the source
I really like the redesigned Octo Roma Collection but my biggest drawback would be the lack of a more substantial Power Reserve. Sorry, I would not buy this watch. Also, I would have liked this upgrade to have a nicer more modern 3D dial that would be a little different than the one you chose. It seems to me that this style of 3D has been around and is similar to many other watches out there now and is not unique enough for Bvulgari's name.
Clous de Paris is not enough ? Wow…
Pin buckle... why ?
Less unique imo
Agree. I hope they keep the old Octo line as L'Originale, with sharper lines and no lume. Way dressier, I love the lacquer finish on some of them
Looks like a winner.
They need to offer a high quality crocodile strap.
It's available on some models of the Octo Roma and Octo Finissimo, but not this new range as of yet.
