Love what Bulgari is doing. Lumed hands and interchangeable straps is exactly what I’ve wanted with the Finissimo but I get that this is more of their sports line.
I'm with Nizar here, White Dial on a White rubber strap would be a great combo plus the matching date wheel is spot on for me. The symmetry on the Black Chrono is, to my eyes, perfect. Yet on the Blue Chrono the date wheel throws it off, so personaly I think the Blue Chrono needs a Blue Date wheel . Oddly the White Date wheel works well on the Blue Auto. Great presentation as always Alex....Zum Wohl !! .
The white dial date model looked so slick with the red strap. I'm impressed that they are introducing the model with all of these options. Especially considering that there are no spring bar holes. This was a frustration of mine with a brand that introduced a watch with quick release spring bars of an odd size with a slow trickle of new options. I would switch among these options constantly with a white dial.
Very beautiful watches ,you can feel the Italian design and history and the name Octo Roma sooo cool.Bvlgari is very serious watch player in the last years
OCTO is the beginning of a future icon. All those declinations either Roma or Finissimo and more to come will shape the most important watch of the next 20 years.
Thank you for showing the white dialed watch on all the straps. I personally like the burgundy but I think the black would make the most sense to sell with it. Really makes it wearable in all environments. TBH all the rubbers looked good on it
The white on white with steel bracelet is so simple and elegant, of course not dress elegant but very minimalistic, with the perfect contrast between the two tones of white, the non chrono dial and the octo design on the inside with the round bezel outside, exceptionally balanced design.
I like the white date wheel on the blue one. It visually extends the index at 3 so the effective length matches the index at 9. This is a really nice update to the Roma. I thought my next watch would be the new blue dial Santos de Cartier Medium. This is more practical. I think I will have to try both when they (eventually) land in Australia.
I also think the same. Torn between santos medium blue and Octo roma blue. The only thing hold me back from Cartier is the lack of screw down crown. The size is perfect however. The Roma might looks a bit too large for my wrist
@@hoseachandra1998 Nothing beats trying them on, sometimes watches surprise you. I have a couple of chronographs that shouldn't work for me but they absolutely do.
Finally got the blue yesterday. Very comfortable to wear because of the short lugs and thin case. The rubber is so nice and makes the watch very sporty. The blue dial can change from dark blue to bright blue with subtle , refines texture. Very happy with it. I am glad i buy it instead of Cartier santos or Defy. Thanks for Watch advisor, your review has helpedme to decide
Serious competitor to Zenith Defy.. which i already have with white dial. I think within the next 12 months i will get myself the Octo finissimo, which is more impresive and so more expensive. Nice review thanks
I currently own a blue dial octo in SS and previously owned a titanium on rubber. This is a great watch, and these models should sell well. Good u have strap options now with QR Great video

I like the blue dialed 3 hander on the bracelet. Not so keen on the other variations. And yes, in most cases the date disc should be color matched to the dial.
These seem like a very good alternative for the Santos and Hermes H08. And I like that the bracelets don't have a really extreme taper, an 18mm clasp looks much more substantial than a 16mm on the back of the wrist.
Bonsoir, très jolie montre j’adore ! Concernant le calibre pour les montres automatique est il de meilleur qualité qu’un calibre néomatik de chez nomos par exemple ?
@@WatchAdvisor oh i am sorry. I meant it may be 8K in the second hand market if the Ingenieur is not successful. Otherwise, if it successful then the resale value will be high. Time will tell
I would much prefer a blue disc for the date. On the Bulgari website, the chronograph has a blue date disc. What is the final product? Thank you for a great video
I’ve always liked the Octo Roma and consider it sort of a sleeper, great price and good looking but overshadowed by the Octo Finissimo. That gray dial version is stunning. With the white dial I like the blue strap the best, but the burgundy and green are cool too. Black looks good, but is maybe a bit boring for my taste.
it looks a nice watch, it doesn't look like the rotor and balance bridge edges are polished but machine finished. I'd have liked a matching colour date wheel.
Regarding the date wheel, I’d have loved an option to not have the date at all… having said that, this is still the very first watch by Bulgari I’ve even remotely felt like “I want it”… a massive improvement to the design it replaces… 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
When I think about luxury watches, Bvlgari isn’t at the top of my mind. But, this watch is really attractive in my opinion. I really like the chronograph and I don’t mind the white date window next to the blue dial.
These watches are beautiful and beautifully finished. But one negative aspect is the rotor. It looks like it's from a fake and doesn't match the quality of the rest of the watch at all. Wonderful review and information as usual Alexander, thank you. And thanks to the cinematographer for the incredible images.
Maybe a white rubber strap would look good with the white dial? Also, it doesn't seem like there are enough holes in the rubber strap. I don't know how big the reviewer's wrist is but he had it on the last hole and the fit still seemed a bit too loose.
Wow. I was expecting 3-4 thousand US dollars. 7 thousand and 9 thousand seems pricey in my opinion. On the contrary, the level of finishing is immaculate. In house movement. Great looking bracelet and included rubber strap (strap looks very comfortable) and of course, you're paying for the name. Great review, I enjoyed it from beginning to end so again, awesome job and keep up the good work dude. I honestly enjoy every video you put out. 👍⌚
Did you say in the video that bracelet links can be adjusted by removing pins? At this price point, I expect links to be held by screws, not pins. That's disappointing 😞
As a Finissimo owner, the Roma line always felt like it would confuse potential buyers. I know the Roma came first and is closer to Genta’s concept, however I would like to see more product differentiation - perhaps Roma as the much sportier, robust option. The bracelets look identical. I do hope the interchangeable strap option comes to Finissimo.
Always prefer the date wheel to be tone on tone with the dial. If not, it needs to match at least some other element on the watch. On the grey dial, it does match the black rubber strap, so that looks okay. And on the blue dial, it matches the white indices, which works too. What really drives me crazy with some brands are their black and blue dial dress watches where they just throw in a white date wheel from the parts bin. Ugh! An example of this is the Omega De Ville Prestige line (until its very recent redesign). I liked the green strap best, followed by the red! Got to be playful with the rubber on that gorgeous white three-hander. If you want something conservative, stick with the bracelet.
Of course blue background date window is better 😅the push button on the folding clasp of the bracelet is similar to my Balco/certina watch, it sits on the bottom and would press on the wrist 😢
@WatchAdvisor the protruded push button presses on your wrist and left an indenting mark. It's not comfortable when you wear it😑 ruclips.net/video/TUd-Ciqb4VI/видео.htmlsi=D5XuhbKIQoRFgCop😅

Nicely presented. Good looking watch, but not worth the price, imo. I feel like it should cost around 5k. And 8-9k for Finissimo. Just can’t justify spending current price on this watch, the competition in this price segment is brutal.
