My friend just sent this to me. I'm 64 today. I have a wonderful life, with family and friends I love. And a GREAT 15 year old Golden Retriever. God is great ❤
My brother just turned 64 today! Instead of calling him up and singing the song to him, I just shared this video with him! The Beatles sing it better than me anyway! 😁
I will be 64 this coming February 13th, 2024. I think I will post this on my Facebook page. The beetles always remind me of growing up in the UK. Such fond memories.
This is the kind of song you might want to play in a bar or pub, but not put on an album in 1967. Music from the 1930s ..which Paul would have been exposed to in his younger days . I see people praising it but on the Pepper album it has always sounded wrong and out of place. He often got his way but Lennon said at the time he would never have dreamt of doing a song like this. ...
Turning 64 today and this song popped up in my head first thing this morning. As a borderline Gen X Boomer feeling grateful to the Lord that I'm still around. lol

It actually makes me really happy that the majority of the comments are about people celebrating turning 64 and just being happy they're still here, that they made it, and that they're still loved. My dad just died today at 64 and, ironically, the hospital he was at was playing this song for a bit. My mom, my brother, and I all found it quite fitting and I absolutely adored The Yellow Submarine as a kid, so watching this again after all these years...I honestly think I learned what "bittersweet" really feels like. Congratulations to everyone who made it to 64, I hope you're all still doing well and are happy to be here! Hopefully it wasn't too much of a struggle to get here. It was for my dad and I'm actually glad that he was able to pass as quickly as he did, so to anyone who couldn't be here whose loved ones found their way here, thank you for being in our lives! My dad wasn't a great dad and I honestly wasn't sure how I would feel when his time came, but I'm glad to know I miss him! It means he meant something to me! Dad, I hope you're doing well and you're happy wherever you ended up, and I hope you're having a far easier time than you did in this life!
I was born in 2000, a Gen Z for sure! But I still felt in love with The Beatles' music! Timeless music! I'm sure that I have never listened to any song like this! The Beatles is new to me! Gosh please do the album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band!

I agree wholeheartedly! I'm only 14, but The beatles is one of the only bands I listen to. Modern music (And not to offend anyone who thinks differently) Is just plain bad. Music like this actually has soul & character, unlike Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Or whatever it is the kids listen to nowadays.
My partner of 40 years promised me in 1978 we would sing this to each other when we each got to 64! I lost him to cancer before this could happen, but I'm thinking he's singing it to me from above on my 64th birthday today!
Not too long ago, I changed the phrase at the opening of the song to, "...in a year from now." That was over a year ago, so now I am living it. I remember when Sgt. Pepper's came out in 1967. Still love this song!
Don't let it bother you son. You've got lots of company myself included! I mean, what choice do we have? Nobody gets any younger, so accept the fact and live the moment --- in the end _the moment_ is all we ever have. P.S. --- spend lots of those moments with _The Beatles_ and you won't go wrong!
It's a blessing to have heard this as a child in the sixties and now to hear it as a 64th birthday greeting. Very special. Definitely a privilege. Thank you Lord for all the 64 years of life.

Cool video to watch on my 64th birthday today. Paul apparently wrote this song when he was a teenager, four years before I was born. Now he's 81 and I'm 64 and people still like the tune. Time!

Then I "BLINKED " here I am ...LOL- Happy birthday to me and all whom have been blessed to live 64 yrs . My we all have many more hopefully/ healthy. Peace ✌
Today’s my birthday & I AM 64! As a child I thought 64 was too old to even care about life anymore. “I will have lived a long, good life by 45. Who would want to get that old?!” But grandchildren on the knee, and a lifelong sweetheart make it truly wonderful.
I have to answer this: Paul, we needed you and your music when you turned 64 27 years ago! And we still need and love it now, that you're about to hit 82.
My favorite version of this song to send to my family and friends on their 64th birthday. Thanks for this beautiful, entertaining and uplifting Beatles song!
I came on this site to have another listen to a brilliant Beatles tune that brings back so many memories. (Lovely rita came after!) It will be my British Husband’s 64th in a mo. and my Piano-playing son and I will sing and play (Me on Clarinet) an arrangment of this cherished song. Thank you to all the talented Beatles who made our worlds so much happier by their incredible songs and arrangements ( And Sir Martin too!)
Je voulais réécouter ce morceau le jour de mes 64 ans, morceau qui a bercé ma jeunesse... Ça y est j'ai 64 ans 😮 et ça roule toujours 🎉 Merci les Beatles 😊
genius way for them to write a love song, and ask their fans if they'll stick around. Paul is 80 years old now, and I imagine this song is a little surreal to him if he interprets it as the band asking their fans if they still be around when he is 64. as, of course many original beatles fans from the 1960's are still fans today. plus not only the band, but each respective member have acquired 3 entirely new generations of fans as the decades passed.
Born in 1964, the movie “Yellow Submarine” has been a favorite since I was in kindergarten. Between this, Wizards, Heavy Metal, The Point, and others I got a lifetime admiration for animation. ❤
Time has come, thanks for this song. I´ve been waiting for this moment for so long, a blend of melancholy, sadness and hope. This is not another common day, it´s my sixty four birthday and I´m so happy that I can listen and enjoy this sounds and words full of colours and joy.
Now that I AM 64, this song takes on a whole new meaning. Genius writer. He must of taken experiences with his grandparents when writing this. Too close to reality of this age.
I'm 64 1/2 and I think I am having a stage of life crisis -- SO glad I thought of this song today because it really helped me to be happier remembering how far I have come and thinking about the people I have met throughout my story ...❤😢
I'll be 64 in less than 4 years and hope to be in good 🙏 shape, and health 😌 🙌 ✨️ and life will shine 💖 for me with the Beatles as always 💙 and today. 💕

My mom's 64th today. She sent me this, as she loves this and used to sing it together when I was a kid. Happy 64 to all!
I can't help but smile when I hear this. Just a wonderful, feel good song. 🥰

I'm Sixty Four today, thank you!
Today is my last day of being 64. Cheers from Saskatoon! I've loved this song forever!!!!!!
This film is timeless, never dates.
This showed up on RUclips. I turned 64 last month. I still LOVE the Beatles. Thanks guys❤
I'm 64 today and I love this song!

Today I turned 64 and this is the first thing I thought of listening to ! I feel old !
Listening to this as a grumpy 64 year old. Hell yeah!!
Je voulais réécouter ce morceau le jour de mes 64 ans, morceau qui a bercé ma jeunesse... Ça y est j'ai 64 ans 😮 et ça roule toujours 🎉
Merci les Beatles 😊
Happy 64th birthday 🎉 I had mine 2 years ago ! God-bless❤
Je suis d'accord avec toi. Merci
Mir geht es genauso. Ich werde 64 am 8.8.2023
@@lilavor2349 bon anniversaire 🎈🥳🎈🥳 😀
Vous avez encore les cheveux?
genius way for them to write a love song, and ask their fans if they'll stick around.
You can’t help but to love this song. 🥰
Born in 1964, the movie “Yellow Submarine” has been a favorite since I was in kindergarten. Between this, Wizards, Heavy Metal, The Point, and others I got a lifetime admiration for animation. ❤
I first heard this song in the mid ‘70s, when I was 10. Now I’m almost 60 and it’s just as fresh and great as it was 50 years ago.
Time has come, thanks for this song. I´ve been waiting for this moment for so long, a blend of melancholy, sadness and hope. This is not another common day, it´s my sixty four birthday and I´m so happy that I can listen and enjoy this sounds and words full of colours and joy.
Happy birthday for the other day 😊
Happy 64 th Birthday,

Thankyou To You The Fab 4 I'm 64 today Thinking of you John today December 8th baci x
Now that I AM 64, this song takes on a whole new meaning. Genius writer. He must of taken experiences with his grandparents when writing this. Too close to reality of this age.
Definition of a throwaway. And by the world's greatest-ever band even.
This rang a bell for me me and my wife, 24 years ago... now that I am 78 it does again!
I'm 64 1/2 and I think I am having a stage of life crisis -- SO glad I thought of this song today because it really helped me to be happier remembering how far I have come and thinking about the people I have met throughout my story ...❤😢
When I’m 64… I’m going to play this song everyday.
The Beatles are a very lovely band. And this song When I`m Sixty Four is a song I love. Love from Sweden ❤❤❤
Past that historic marker😂 and still kickin at 69. Love the capturing of our heyday 😊🎉❤
I'm almost as old as you. We need to ask Paul to write a sequel - When I'm A Big 7-0, lol
