When I was a youth, during our monthly trips to grandmas house, we would pass a farmer’s field that was home to a neglected Lincoln Zephyr. I believe it was a 39 or 40. After my all expense paid trip to Viet Nam, I decided to track down the owner and make an offer on the Zephyr. Much to my surprise when I got there…………….the Lincoln was gone, and so was the field! You are so lucky to have acquired one. Good luck with it and please keep it all FoMoCo.
Nice job on that Zephyr. Sand blasting is hard work. During the 90’s I worked in a body shop that did rust rust repair and refinishing on school buses during the the summer. Sandblast the exterior and refinishing both inside and exterior. Please keep the videos coming
Some people whine about content !! Get over yourselves guys & gals. Ian & Jamie, I appreciate any content you produce, always entertaining. Greetings from Downunder 👍🇦🇺
My 56' dodge is setting outside and it's making its own patina!❤ Had a freind tell me to take clear coat, and spray it ,and wow! It turned to a flat black ,and let's all the patina show though, looks great for me.
First time viewer. What a solid car! I hope you can do it justice with as a Resto Mod with new suspension and a reliable powertrain. A very cool project.
Have a very Happy Thanksgiving! But anyway, when you're building these amazing vehicles, have you ever put so much heart and soul into the project that you hate to give it back to the customer? I'd be crying.
To all those people who tell others to patina their vehicles, patina is a lazy and cheapskate way to finish vehicle. Patina sucks especially fake patina.
Gonna be another cool one my friend. I can see it all ready. I heard you mention complaints about watered down content on a previous video. You allow people behind the scenes of how you do what you do, your tips, tricks and skills you have taken decades to master. Sad to see the lack of appreciation and they should be ashamed. Great background music, goes with the project perfectly. 👍 Happy Thanksgiving from sunny Florida you two 😎🌴 Be blessed, your friend LW.
Jaime and Ian, I know this would not be your normal wheel house, but this car is so honest and true. Would you consider a 100% all original restoration? This is not to imply that Ian’s custom work is not incredible, but sometimes you get something that just begs for restoration verses customization.? Either way, you guys have a beautiful car and it is in excellent hands.
Just want to say hi to you and yours and to say l hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends. God bless and have a blessed evening and night. Be careful and safe and enjoy yourselves. From Pete Allison sr from Louisville KY thumbs

I enjoyed the excitement in your voice as you described how amazingly clean the Zephyr is. Happy Thanksgiving.

I love sand blasting. Also fun to mask of glass and blast the area you didn't mask for a frosted glass effect. Good for putting logos in windows too.
