The kawasaki seem to take a lot of the sting out of the rough ride. I've got a video out where the water is rough and you can hear the hull on my FZR slapping the water on every bounce and it does translate to the body. I call it the beat down. I didn't hear near the hull beating going on with your ski...
They really do absorb the chop really well. The nano does not have the density to absorb the chop as well as the reinforced fiberglass Ultra hull. The seat on the 22’ is very cushioned as well, much more so than my 2021 Ultra.
Just went to look at the 310 lx-s but I couldn't pull the trigger due to the extra fees. Dealer prep $2750, freight $2650, that is almost 1/3 the cost of the ski. 😡
Haha I did warn you! Broward Motorsports..the times I have done business with them, I was not happy with the fees. Anyway, Treasure Coast does not charge those crazy dealer fees. I got buyers order quotes from 5 dealers
I was out in the gulf yesterday. First time taking mine out there. It was pretty rough on our end. Easily 4 foot. Ski took it like it was nothing. Me on yhe other hand, is a different story. Going to do it more, just have to drive 2+hours to get there.
That’s awesome! Haha I know what you mean. I did this ride a few days ago and my legs are still sore! Yeah that is a long drive, but sounds like it was with it
Haha just stay patient my friend and you will get one eventually! Don’t forget I ordered the ski a day after they announced it in 2021 and waited 6 months!
Where are you located? How hard were you running the ski? For most climates synthetic 10w-40 should be fine but if you are in a hotter climate you might want a thicker oil to compensate for higher ambient temp. The high temp alarm for the oil comes on at 329 degrees per the Kawasaki manual, so at 240~ degrees you are well within the normal operating parameters for the engine. Always ensure that there is a steady stream of water coming out the bypass on the right side of the ski. Also always inspect inside the jet pump to ensure the intake strainer is not blocked with weeds or debris.
South MS. Air temp was 90 degrees. Everything is working as it should. Was riding in a clean fresh water canal for break in. I was trashing on it a good bit. I did notice that it quite allowing me to put it into launch mode.
If you are over 3,000 rpm it will not let you enable or disable launch..you also have to be in FPO mode to enable launch mode. If your temp alarm did not come on and you didn’t get a warning lamp on the dash, you are fine.
Ultra's, love um. That's what its made for.
Exactly what it’s made for! My legs and arms are very sore today from that ride! 😂
Nice vid. Maybe I'll run into you one of these days. My friend and I ride the Jupiter area frequently.
Awesome, yeah let me know when your riding!
@@JDsWaterWorld we might give it a try Saturday but the weather might be bad.

Broward Motorsports? They are the biggest rip off. Did you ever call Treasure Coast Kawasaki?
@@JDsWaterWorld yes..lmao...Broward motor sports...I spoke to Jamie at Treasure coast and I will see him next Saturday
What was the total cost if you were to pick it up that day? I think the kawis' are a little more expensive to begin with correct?

lol
Sound like a footballer on those hard jump impacts at speed..
I know that feeling!
Haha I love rides like this one! And yes usually I take a few days to recover after rides like that!
I hate you....because you have what I want and I can't find one..lmao

Put 2hr’s on my new 2023 Ultra LX-S.
My oil temp would reach 240+ if I rode it hard. Are you seeing oil temps in this range?

Thanks JD. Tell Kevin Shaw we need some green riding shirts. Love my red one.
