That was NONSENSE!!!!! The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs isn't going to be her or any woman in the next 35-40 years until some female Generals who served in combat rates make it to that position. Since many combat roles have just opened to women and the SEC DEF is Secretary Mattis. You can guarantee that at least for the next 8 years you will see only an Army Or Marine General who was in a combat rate/MOS, most likely Infantry, as the highest ranking officer of the US Armed Forces.

Obama's PC military. I'm glad I got out when I did. How many qualified officers who served in COMBAT units were turned away simply because of their race/gender. Did not serve a day in Iraq/Afghanistan, most of her experience is either in training/administration stateside. Seems to me, if you're going to command combat teams, it might be a good idea to understand what it's like to actually be in combat.
