Your glitch building has by no exaggeration saved me (hours)! I procrastinated on the 'spedition, and if it weren't for the wonders of glitch building I would've spent hours upon hours gathering chromatic metal, carbon, and ferrite! Godspeed you magnificent bastard
Yeah I really wish you rotate any item by like 45 and 90 degree increments in any direction and then snap them by the edge or middle. I feel like a huge world of cool builds would show up if more people could do stuff like this.
I made a funny base where it's upside down but when traveled to it unloads and loads random parts of the base which is funny as the planet I found defaults everything as monotone almost like old timey 1930s cartoons
Thanks Beeblebum!!! Your guides are always great. The only issue I have is when using the cube/pyramid method to flip a floor, the floor is offset by the thickness of the floor. it is a small thing but I wish it was a little more accurate. I'll have to use the wire method, no problem. Thanks again for all your efforts!
Thanks! If you are using the timber floors, you should be aware that the wooden floors are only half as thick as the other floors, therefore it looks as if the floor dropped lower, but in fact, the floor just flipped.
Thank you so much for this super clear tutorial. Just a question, how can I flip upside down scaled items? For example I would like to make a sphere out of two giant bio domes put together but everytime that the giant dome lock to one of the green junction points appears with its original dimension.
Hey Beeblebum. Thanks for htis video. I know its over a year since you posted. I am currently building a LOB base. This base saves, so thats all good. I am trying to find a way where i can glitch a light fissure underneath my base to make it look like rocket jets. Can this even be done? I have used the wire glitch to place a cube and was rather hopeing hte light fissure would snap to the bottom facw of the cube. It does not. If this can be done, Im pretty sure you would know how to. Also i tried the teleporter method, but they only have one power connector now and it faces up. Any tips or help would be aprrecieated dude. Thanks
That seems like a lot of steps just to make a square box out of tiles, something I do wish I could do in my builds to make cool stuff. You would think making a cube would be the first thing you learn to build LOL, I don't know why HG didn't think of this as a basic step.
I don't even know how you get into that view?? Man, I was just trying to figure out why window walls keep flipping on me, and it turns out I'm a ridiculous noob..
i dont see why this click bait is even a thing.... just use the normal features built into the game its alot less effort and time wasted then doing this stupid waste of time method.... down on the d-pad people free placment > then r3 (adjust angle of placment) > bam! angled walls/objects/floors SIMPLE! otherwise waste time watching click bait.....
The in game tools give you inconsistent results. Even if you do manage to rotate a part and get it perfectly lined up, it will take a ton of time or luck. Beeblebum is sharing methods that produce the same results every time you execute them properly. That's what most of us are looking for. The bait is just what we want to gobble up... We'll keep clicking!
Flipping amazing Beebs!
This has been the biggest pain for me. THANK YOU.

Always good to keep up with the current techniques
As amazing as glitch building is, I wish they'd just let you do half this stuff natively.

Thank you a great tut and easy to follow
Ah good timing. I was searching your vids over the weekwnd for the flipping technique.
This is super helpful, thank you for your hard work!
Yo mate! Once again! Thank you for the super thanks! glad you enjoyed it THAT much! 😊
Thanks man! Knowledge is powa!!!
Thanks for this!

awesome you really are using some creative thinking with these techniques!

I have an issue where I made a big bio dome with the glitch but when I place it it is on an angle and I can't change it to flat
Merci! So guet!

Thanks for sharing! Just wondering if these techniques can be used for Solar Panels?
This can be used for many things, but of course you might need to prepare differently.
Are you flipping serious.! Lol 🙌🏾💪🏾👌🏽👏👏

I get this to work like 1 out of 10 tries... maybe. Pressing Q + Left Mouse Button almost never works for me.
Is it just me or did this make flipping parts easier?
I don't even know how you get into that view?? Man, I was just trying to figure out why window walls keep flipping on me, and it turns out I'm a ridiculous noob..
If I was a dev I wouldn't want to patch these out. Why restrict your players' options.
Nope cant do it😂😂
