Tracy thank you for another great and satisfying day on he water just a really good day catching bass. It’s always a fulfilling moment watching a video from you thank you so much. Tight lines take care and God bless.
Thanks for the shoutout! I caught a few that afternoon but nothing big. Gonna be checking out those spots you told me about further north. Good luck with the rest of your Everglades trip!
Girl!! I’ve been out every morning at 6:30am walk/running 3 miles getting my strength back in my knee & ankle. I could imagine doing 8 miles right now. And being on that water cold. Good on you!! And you are the best when it comes to spending time meeting and talking to new people ☺️ enjoy the rest of the trip!! 🥶
I really believe the kayak pedal drive helped me in my knee replacement rehab. It got so strong, so fast. It's so much better than my non operative knee. Hang in there and keep on truckin'. You'll get there!! And yes.... I love chatting with folks that I meet on the water. That's part of the fun of having the youtube channel.
Good morning, Tracy. Glad to see you catching some fish. I hope to get down to the Everglades to go after some peacock bass this year. Haven't been out in my kayak so far this year. Been too cold. My fountain here has frozen almost every day. Looks like maybe next week it might get a little better. I'll give it a try then. Keep up the good work. Hope you have a lot of luck.
Thanks David. I probably won't be fishing for Peacocks this week. The cold temps more than likely killed the P bite. The Largemouth bite is also stifled! Come on WARM TEMPS!! Spawn soon also!
I was feeling the cold with you. Our lakes have recently frozen due to the attic cold front. I have a question for you since I’ve recently purchased a swim bait about the size you’re throwing. What weight line do you use? I usually use 6-8 lb test and would hate to make my first cast only to have that bait go flying off. Thank you always for the great videos you put out.
I'm throwing that swimbait on 20 lb braid with a 16 lb flouro leader. It casts a mile. I've even backlashed it once or twice and the line did not break.
Am I right in saying you have some sort of GPS on your boat . I did notice you doing an old trail trick breaking cat tails along the way . Me I would get lost down there ... LOL
Yes, my fishfinder has gps but I mostly use the break crumbs on my garmin fenix watch. It works great for that. I can just retrace my route if I get lost. I was breaking the cat tails so that they wouldn't snag a rod or camera!
That place looks like a maze of fishy water . Hoping next winter to drag the new trailer and some ( maybe new ) kayaks down there. Planning a western trip this summer but thinking next winter we may take a month long reprieve from these cold New Hampshire winters and hit SC, GA and FL. We’ll see.

Thanks Gran.
You were right! Fishing has been tough all week. The rain and cold! Looking forward to the warmer weather coming soon!
This whole month has been off. Better weather coming next week... just in time for me to head north (home).
Thanks for the shoutout! I caught a few that afternoon but nothing big. Gonna be checking out those spots you told me about further north. Good luck with the rest of your Everglades trip!
It's been so tough everywhere!! Next week should be better because it's gonna be in the 80's! See you out there!!

Hello Me Ola !!You may have started a new fishing trend “up side down fluke. Great video 😁🎣❤️
Thanks Johnny. Us retirees on a fixed income have to do what we can to save a buck, right?
Cold front bass are tough. Good job getting some fish in the boat. Thanks for sharing.
Yep!! The cold slowed EVERYTHING down!
😆 I like little Pedro ! But not in freezing temperatures.
I knew you would get a kick out of that.

Everything looks so fishy.. My arms would be hurting from casting at it all 😂
😂😂 Same!
You're right. That's part of the challenge. EVERYTHING looks fishy!!

Are you putting any weights in your flukes
Not on this trip. I prefer to fish them weightless unless it gets really deep water.
Hi young lady where is this place?
Everglades FL
