Hey Greg, I was on the paddle board while you were heading out. I ended up catching and released 3 huge salmon that day. The last one tipped me overboard, and I ended with a treble hook in my foot! It was an honor meeting you in the waters. Love your content!
What a pleasant day to be on the water where the bass were cooperating too, that slough was loaded with bass. I really enjoy watching your videos, they are so well made and so professionally produced, viewing the area with overhead shots, wildlife roaming the shoreline, the turtles sunning on the tree limb...all make it more enjoyable. You are the Best, thanks for sharing Greg!!
Funny enough is that I'm from Piracaia, i also watched every single video Greg ever posted without missing even one of the new ones and I'm actually also subscribed to your channel 🤣 Bought a 85mm crystal Bonnie bc of u brother
@@cecapfishing9882 Cool! I had no idea that I could find any subscribers to my channel here! It's great to see how fishing brings people together! Does Greg also like an Jackall Bonnie 85!? 🤣🔥
Just wandered in after moving two feet of snow off my clearly-too-long driveway and what's waiting but this little gem. It's wonderful and a little sad too since I won't see a shallow-water fish for probably 5-6 months. Love the simple trips; fishing was supposed to be this way instead of the high-powered, pressurized thing it's become (which is still fun.... sometimes).
Always good to go back to the "Basics", Greg. Really enjoyed this one, as it's getting time for me to start fishing the same way now that the temps are falling. I have to hand it to you (following your channel for over 6 years, and you are the reason I've bought 2 Native 'Yaks and LOTS of other gear), you ALWAYS seem to captivate your audience by your fishing adventures and the sheer enjoyment you bring us! Thank you Again, for this Video.
Just stumbled across your channel, and man your videos are top notch, i watch them after a long day of work, its pretty relaxing and exciting. I havent gone fishing in awhile but watching your videos make me want to! keep up the awesome content!
What a fun pressure free day. I've started focusing in on stripers again, but watching your hook ups, I might have to make time for more bass. Thanks for the always excellent videos you produce Greg.
I love this creek u fish.So scenic and perfect bass territory. Do a video where you lock a couple of six inch swimbaits and a glide in there and see what happens
Man this looks like the little creek I fish, but on steroids haha. LOVE this man. Great change of pace. Joys of fishing for fun. Tournament fishing is definitely fun but it’s nice to sit and enjoy this too.
Coffee and Taquitos while my pups are snoozing at my feet - nice to watch another video of yours as an Atmospheric River is predicted to hit the Bay Area. I'm cozy under my Godzilla blanket, enjoying the shots of nature you showed like the turtles and beaver. That bass you reeled in, thinking you were snagged on a log was ideal! Now why can't that always happen when we're stuck??? I think your old boots are good luck charms 😉
Greg, your top competitors are using FFS. Thats how they did so well at Tulloch. Im not thrill about adapting but im considering the Lowrance Eagle Eye Live. No box, no extra batteries.
Bass pretty much shut down when the water around here gets below 50 degrees, with the exception of smallmouth ..They will stay active until low 40s. Won't be long and we'll have ice on most of the water in Wisconsin... That's when we look forward to your videos 😊😊
Man it's been a good min since I've put a beating on them like that!! Sadly as I'm up north, I'll have to wait until spring. I'll rely on you to keep my addiction fed until then!!
I know that spot well. I normally catch a few but not every time that's for sure. It's also a decent spot for striper and I've even caught rainbow trout out of there too. Mostly, I use spinnerbaits and Texas rigged flukes.
Spinner bait for the win lol,I told you Greg. Spinner bait in the fall can be really good. Now try it next time on the Delta. Thanks for the video bro 👍
Pedal yakker here. Rookie angler at best. I’ve been looking into putting a motor on my kayak. Though I Love the idea of a spotlock, I love the idea of having little obstruction in front of me more. It’s a toss up as I do have a hard time staying in one spot on even a mild windy day. Wondering how you’re able to manage this, especially during a tournament where it’s essential staying within that target zone. TIA. Hope to see you out there sometime. 🙏🤘
you said it. It's def a toss up with pros/cons to each. I would say if you're fishing shallow rivers, skinny water, etc go with the stern mount. If you're fishing bigger lakes, open and deeper water go with the bow mount. Or go crazy and get both, its not unheard of these days lol
bought me ANOTHER kayak couple days ago.. my other one is a 13' pedal drive, this one is 10' (not gonna drop a name brand) gonna rig it up this winter with a motor and everything.. love your content Grag.!!
Hey Greg, could you explain the choice here of using the creature hawg over the pit boss or the “cheater” trailer you usually use? Just a whim, color, action, etc.? Appreciate you! ☕️
Love watching your videos man! If you ever feel an itch to try something new you should look into Pyramid Lake Nevada. I believe every good fisherman should give this place a try. Not very common to fish a place where a 10lb trout is common and 20+lbs is possible.
Greg, thank you so much for another wonderful day fishing on a small river using the slayer 10! What are your opinions on the new Native Slayer 10 LTE kayak will you be adding that to your fleet? The water looks so peaceful Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me and how wonderful everything is at this moment life’s problems all seem to go away and I am at peace! Greg tight lines take care and God bless!
Greg I thought Jigs get the bigs? 😂 Still looks like a blast…. I’ve basically retired my spinning gear, idk there’s something about the BFS. Tight lines bro
I remember in a tournament this past year you already told us, so sorry for making you repeat yourself. What knot do you use to tie on your lures? Thanks

Good to meet you bro! Dang, that's wild. Those salmon are no joke back there

thanks Vince! this area and the wildlife in particular are really special
What's up, Greg! I'm a sport fisherman in Brazil 🇧🇷 and I watched all your videos. I also record videos and you are my reference!
obrigado por assistir!

Loved the opening music. Felt very fitting and familiar.

I'm a little sad for you! Hey, but in 5-6 months when you're out there and see those shallow fish for the first time that feeling will be amazing!
Always good to go back to the "Basics", Greg. Really enjoyed this one, as it's getting time for me to start fishing the same way now that the temps are falling.

Thanks Mike! I've been rocking Natives since the beginning (2013) and haven't looked back! Cheers and happy fishing
As a mainly bank angler the deeper was a game changer for sure!
Bank angling..... the struggle is real....😏

I wish I had it back in college when I fished this one stretch of bank. woulda loved to know how deep I was throwing my wacky senko lol

Fun video, nice change on pace. Like the skinny water every now and then 😊
Love the adventure into the backwater,
such a lacking thing in my area,.
I cannot wait till my fishing career takes me to places like that!
What a fun pressure free day. I've started focusing in on stripers again, but watching your hook ups, I might have to make time for more bass.
Thanks for the always excellent videos you produce Greg.
Always a good day to see a video notification from Greg. Always make me want to take the kayak out and go fishing
Amazing water clarity
Got my bass fishing fix for the day in less than 30 minutes. Thanks Greg! 😊
cheers!

Fun vid! Thanks for taking me along! Illinois going to get cold and slow.

Love the skinny water stuff. Would enjoy a top water video in the same area when the time of year would allow.
Awesome water to fish!
Great sesh. Gotta love backwater fishing. Cheers
Good video and content. When water is that small and skinny with obstacles, 9 times out of 10 I bring a fishing paddle board and a fly rod.
I always enjoy watching your videos. I like using a weed less swim bait and a swim jig in situations like this with a lot of wood.
Looks like a fun little trip.

Love the skinny water stuff!
Absolutely loved the intro
Let’s gooo gb make my work day better
Greg, that's a little body of water, where the Big Boys and Girls usually are. It's nice to really lighten the boat and just fish. 💯 😎
Good morning folks! And what up Mr G.
Excellent! Thanks.

Good morning GB ☕️ 😊
Lets Go Greg. I enjoy your music.
Oh yea! Just when I lay down in bed! Cant wait for this 😅
Hell yea! Ninja boots are back!
my "equestrian" boots as Obedie would say🤣
@ 🤣. Well, my sons and I now have Equestrian boots as well. 🤙🏽
I’ve been eyeing the Slayer Propel 10 LTE! Might be pulling the trigger on buying it! Tight lines GB!
I've been eyeing it myself! I'm curious to see how it compares to the slayer max 10
Hope you will get one Greg! I’d like to hear how you like fishing out of one.
Man it's been a good min since I've put a beating on them like that!! Sadly as I'm up north, I'll have to wait until spring. I'll rely on you to keep my addiction fed until then!!

If you don’t mind, where is this spot at ?
What a fun day. Those tree pounders really like jigs, and they are not that hard to get hooked up.
Peaceful Fun fall day in the yak..ya baby👍
Spinner bait for the win lol,I told you Greg. Spinner bait in the fall can be really good. Now try it next time on the Delta. Thanks for the video bro 👍
You did! haha. Spinnerbait is just a classic bait and will never get old
snagged it then he came back and snatched it off that log haha
🤣🤣🤣

Perfect condition for BFS fishing.
Hey Greg, I was wondering if the abu garcia vertias is worth buying and what it can be used for
bought me ANOTHER kayak couple days ago.. my other one is a 13' pedal drive, this one is 10' (not gonna drop a name brand) gonna rig it up this winter with a motor and everything.. love your content Grag.!!
Well said. Agreed. Refreshing informative and interesting

Come to Georgia and catch some shoal bass, and some althama bass with us..!!
georgia shoal bass are a different beast!
@GregBlanchardFishing They fight like crazy.!!
what boats do you wear?
I've noticed the bass love it when you get snagged. I believe it looks like something trying to hide? It's a theory.
What were the combos you were throwing?
Nice 👍
@gregblanchard likes to live on the edge … always re tie after a snag up lol
how come you used a football jig for flipping on wood? do you think that’s what made you snag more?
Did you take a right through the jungle?
Hey Greg: What's the max lure weight rating of your jig rod? Yes, 10ft kayak in skinny water makes for some of the best adventures.
Greg I thought Jigs get the bigs? 😂 Still looks like a blast…. I’ve basically retired my spinning gear, idk there’s something about the BFS. Tight lines bro
Just curious. Lets say first cast is 7am. What is stopping these guys from cruising around with FFS at 6am? Are there rules in place preventing that?
You caught a red eye bass.
At first i thought i was watching a bob ross video lol
I remember in a tournament this past year you already told us, so sorry for making you repeat yourself. What knot do you use to tie on your lures? Thanks
He uses the Jimmy Houston for fluoro applications! I switched to it recently and it holds better than the Palomar on fluoro me so far!
🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣👍👍👍👍👍
Throw the frog throw the frog oh im sorry sssshhhhh your going to scare em
Caught 15 last weekend in 4 hours on a spinnerbait
less is more

OMG! where is this? I gotta fish this. I love small water too much. Great video man, Subbed.
What launch is this? thank you
Does anyone know where this beautiful body of water is
Greg, Entry level kayak fisherman here. That backwater area seems like a fun place for me to test my fishing skills. Can you share the location?
u think thats chilly come to new york 😆
Love you GB! Are you fishing in the delta?
Bro try the Sutter bypass. Same thing but bigger bass.
