Another old school trick when tacking sheet metal is to have a bucket of water and a rag. Wipe each rack as you go to cool the panel down. It’s a game changer.

If you want a 3rd world education in suspension, take a trip to the Philippines! They build a Jeepney to be a bus like truck. They feel like the frame is welded to the axle. Come to think about it, a mini Jeepney would be a cool burnout item.

Lovin' this episode. Part wrenching, part concert, and part comedy show. Doesn't get much better than that! You may want to cross brace the rear part of the frame to try to reduce flex as there isn't a bed to create stiffness. Just a thought.

A smaller diameter vacuum brake booster is a good way to solve the hood clearance problem. You may even want a double diaphragm booster if you go with a smaller diameter.

If your on a budget you can cut the leafs behind the axle attach a panhard bar on and put your coilovers/shocks on. It not a four link but it'll work for burnouts!

You're gonna need a pan hard bar for the rear axle. Google it. You can build it, OR order more powder coated brackets. 😂

you need a connection from the middle of the back axle to one side of the frame to keep the axle from walking sideways!
