My favorite thing about Slayer from this era was how much they fucking laughed man. Really just loved their lives. That's what kept them kicking so much ass. When you start taking yourself too seriously, you might find yourself wanting for some inspiration or something. I don't know exactly what it is.

Kevin, their roadie, thought it was the best invention ever 😆 When we saw Jeff the next year back in Winnipeg, he greeted us with “Hey, the hot knife guys!” No doubt Tom’s memory is a little off. The interview with Nard was 25 years after we opened for them, knives and all 🤘🏻💀🤘🏻
