It’s even more impressive when you realise there was a time where he was finding the most obscure information before the Internet was even considered to be a reliable source of research.
@@miquelmoorrees6010 it’s quite a bold assumption to think the internet right now is “useless”. Of course somethings are completely opinionated or just straight up wrong but that’s because people have more freedom to do so. underrated comment
He's talked on a TED Talk on how he does it. He asks questions to people close to the artist, researches etc. He's just very good at it.
I went to high school with him. He was always in the library. Always. He can scan and retain massive amounts of information, and like someone else said, has his method of talking to key people in the artist’s life.

It’s even more impressive when you realise there was a time where he was finding the most obscure information before the Internet was even considered to be a reliable source of research.
Totally, this! I would not be surprised if the Google founders name Nardwuar as their inspiration.
Not really because the internet is and was always useless for getting this kind of info, its impressive just not because of that
@@miquelmoorrees6010 it’s quite a bold assumption to think the internet right now is “useless”. Of course somethings are completely opinionated or just straight up wrong but that’s because people have more freedom to do so. On the flip side, it has given more freedom to set up pages where information is checked and thus being more reliable. Also worth mentioning that people have more of a digital footprint than ever. To say it is equally useless is a very narrow view.
