Oh my gosh. More POV’s please! As someone who once spent a lot of time in the water chasing heavy waves, I miss the whole experience of getting in and getting out. The paddling, everything. It’s the whole package that makes the experience so profound imo. The entry, the waves, and the exiting the water. The landscape here is next level. You left me in suspense wondering how the heck you got in!
I guess he takes a break for Ben to catch up, but the way Nathan barely finishes paddling out at 9:05 to turn around and immediately catch the very next wave is insane. Also just the calm confidence he exudes the entire time, starting from the zero-hesitation paddle out into a super scary area he's never surfed before is incredible. What a fearless charger.
your last video is to me the highlight of your channel. so much emotions and vibe. its awesome thank you for the emotions and keep on doing that legendary work Nathan yeeeeew
Yeah this just triggered my PTSD. It's a bad time of year for that, but better here than out there(not really) so thanks for helping me get that out of the way.
This guys vids are what we all need..just showing how it is and no rubbish vein bullshit !! we had a little surf in the uk last week and man we had shitloads of that foam !! also the recovery of this guy is serious !! would love to be in that shape
Dude I ride bmx , but what you guys & girls do out in these waves is short of magnificent. No gloves down the rock, glad to see the helmets being used, with wicked heavy waves. No bs video loved this, buddy system I see him check.
Incredible atmosphere in that place makes it so appealing. Winter surfing has an attraction all of it's own if you can tolerate the cold! Lots of courage on display there. What an entry!
Good things don't come easy up here in the north of Scotland, makes us appreciate it when we catch a good one. Always hard won! Complete respect Nathan 🤙
For the first time since watching this channel, an environment, sea colour, and weather that feels familiar 😃. Amazing stuff. That paddle out looked insane.
This is one of the heaviest vids that you drop in min i know your last vid was crazy but this is on a whole other level bc how heavy the slab is keep up the great work big dog 🔥🔥🔥vid
I appreciate your courage and talent. I surfed from 14 to 38 years in Southern California. This perspective gives an excellent understanding of what it's really like.
I just came from a service playing the drums and seeing this just makes want to dive in and feel the nice cold water all over I don’t care if the waves give me a beating that’s a blessing right now for me 😂
This is your perspective from the footage from a couple weeks ago! That beginning part was stressful, this one even more so. YIKES!! 😬 But you charged it took some AWESOME rides. GREAT footage, too. YEWWW!!
It's crazy for me how, in some parts of the world, the sea is connected with stones and not sand like here in BR. Like, I can't even imagine how dangerous it can be if you're not a good surfer.. Nice video friend, keep on your good job!!
I am in Brazil now but im from Cape Town,South Africa and the surf is like this in many places(rocky, freezing,a lot of kelp,oh and big sharks),we have many spots the waves suck up and you can see the rocks on takeoff,we even have a spot you stand on a huge rock about 30cm under water in the middle of the ocean because thats where the wave breaks,it goes from 1 foot to about 6 foot in a second and just grows(its crazy and pretty dangeous if u dont know how it works, many broken bones and boards),surfing in Rio is paradise compared to Cape Town though we have some amazing waves and many hidden spots, the only thing i would say i dont like where i have surfed in Rio is the SUPER strong rip current that takes you hundreds of metres from where you start.
P.S i would rather surf on rocks that super shallow reef like they have in some parts of the world, including pipeline, while it looks more beautiful and inviting i think shallow reef is must more dangerous that rocks, its just usually rocky surf comes in cold, murky, kelpy water so the environment just looks scary.
This reminds me of being in my college years. I used to surf three times a day and my homey used to take me to the most precarious spots. I would have butterflies in my stomach looking at where I was paddling out. Surfing truly is a way of life and I am so grateful for growing up in California. Being caught in the washing machine is no fun at all! 🤙❤🤙❤️🤙❤️🤙❤️
The Atlantiic Looks So Much Greener in Scottland than it does in Cape May County, North Wildwood, NJ. UNBELIEVABLE . You have very powerful arms. I noticed that in your paddling videos. ✌️🤙🤜🤛💦🏄🏃♀️🚶♀️🧘♀️
The duo leave behind the strange land Venturing out into the grey expanse The windmills watch over them skeptically Until the elder one seizes his chance He drops into a pit of confusion And is taken by the god, Poseidon Only to reappear more alive than ever The kings of old be praising his riding
Hey Nat FYI ex: if u save some one lungs full of salt water dead . there feet should be pointing towards your home not the ocean, that will set up the out flow of the water on our exit value of the lungs. remember this any other way and they die. if head is closes to home feet towards ocean the water in their lungs is 88% less likely to come out. got it. cool peace out
@nate, what is nerve-racking for you, waiting to paddle out or actually paddling out? I would imagine standing on those rocks, timing your paddle out, and staring down those insane conditions has to strike a decent nerve.
Whoa it's a totally different vibe from the water when you see all the people on land, the buildings and wind turbines. Not as frightening. I initially thought this was some really wild remote place away from any human activity. It's always a bit more reassuring knowing you can see plenty of human activity not far away on land, especially when surfing a new place like this. Reckon it would be sick on a sunny day with light off shoreys.
Nathan, What was worse, the foam or the current pulling you out? How long did it take to find a way back to the shore? "Love what you do." Appears to be at a totally different level for you 🧜♂️🏄♂️🖖🤙✌
Great footage as always....
My wife says "He always seems genuine & is always has a smile."
High praise my friend....
Much Aloha to all!
🤙🏼✌🏼& ❤

Hello friends ❤️ have a great day
Great video
Love how you always make sure your buddy gets through the wave safe! Gotta look out for each other out there! 🤙
Such a friendly wave for the tone of the area... rocks everywhere, wicked current, overcast and spooky, but damn every wave you caught was perfect.
When you surf big/heavy waves you have to commit to the paddle in/drop. If you hesitate you end up getting worked.
To be honest getting lost in that foam looked scarier than the waves haha
😂yeaH
your last video is to me the highlight of your channel. so much emotions and vibe. its awesome thank you for the emotions and keep on doing that legendary work Nathan yeeeeew
not seen one of your films before.... I'm gonna have to go through all of them now. No swimwear, no music, no sunshine, just awesome!
The most formidable paddle out of all time! Respect......
This looks like a gnarly paddle out for sure but if your talking about the most formidable, I would say Mavericks.
I’m wearing my helmet and inflation vest just watching this
😂
😅
Yeah this just triggered my PTSD. It's a bad time of year for that, but better here than out there(not really) so thanks for helping me get that out of the way.

Nate's funniest when he stops talking and just surfs. Non-stop stoke. And a seriously heavy session. Thanks for posting.
Yiiiiikes dude…that’s a gnarly paddle out. Your wind and duck diving is next level, Nate.🤙🏼
Be well dude.
Hectic, so awesome seeing raw pov clips at these more unique locations!
Dude I ride bmx , but what you guys & girls do out in these waves is short of magnificent. No gloves down the rock, glad to see the helmets being used, with wicked heavy waves. No bs video loved this, buddy system I see him check.
I love JOB but there is absolutely no doubt that Nathan is the new king of surf content. He owns this space now
JOB just clickbaits now, used to be sick
“Ur not psyching on my G rated content brah? Here look at a thumbnail of my girlfriend in a floss bikini” -JOB
Elite! You make this extremely technical wave look effortless.
Incredible atmosphere in that place makes it so appealing. Winter surfing has an attraction all of it's own if you can tolerate the cold! Lots of courage on display there. What an entry!
Good things don't come easy up here in the north of Scotland, makes us appreciate it when we catch a good one. Always hard won!

beautiful to watch, thanks Nathan for showing this raw surfing experience
For the first time since watching this channel, an environment, sea colour, and weather that feels familiar 😃. Amazing stuff. That paddle out looked insane.
No waves for the first 9 minutes but it’s still riveting. Such an intense spot!
Great sponsor, you are helping that people get addicted. What a nice move of you…
😂your nuts. Man this session seems so fun and scary. I’ll bet dinner and beers tasted really good that evening. Props big guy!
Surreal almost! Easily the most interesting surfing video I've watched this year.
This is one of the heaviest vids that you drop in min i know your last vid was crazy but this is on a whole other level bc how heavy the slab is keep up the great work big dog 🔥🔥🔥vid
This is mental, this place looks like Mordor. Huge respect for both of you!
looks like?
Normal day in Scotland.
I appreciate your courage and talent. I surfed from 14 to 38 years in Southern California. This perspective gives an excellent understanding of what it's really like.
that paddle out was insane.
Xxxx
Why I can only give one thumbs up? This is awesome! Respect 👏👏👏
i love nathan more and more. sick seeing him kill it in the uk too
Man I love this! So much stoke at the beginning you could feel the nerves. ❤
Crazy all over the place wild thick respect 🙏 Nathan
So glad you put the pov footage of this up, crazy water!!!
Yeah Nate that music you played in the last video was unreal! Keep up the good work
I'm waiting on the sea monsters to pop up and wink at you two maniacs! 😂🤣🤯
Just Awesome Nathan and Ben True Wave Warriors 🤩🤙🌊🌊🌊
you guys are insane.... no way i would paddle in there
Hell yeah that was a scary paddle out! I can’t imagine paddling back in.
I just came from a service playing the drums and seeing this just makes want to dive in and feel the nice cold water all over I don’t care if the waves give me a beating that’s a blessing right now for me 😂
That water looks sharky man, jeez the guts to go out the & score is nuts!
Probably too cold for much of a shark threat.
Great whites don't really care about temperature mate. All long south sfricas coast line in waters 8 to 12 degree
Perfect white pointer weather!
The most satisfying video ever
It looks exactly like where I wouldn't want to be.
Good job 👏
What a madman, got 3 barreling waves within about a minute and 10 seconds starting around 9 min mark after a harrowing paddle out
ive been waiting for this video! sick!
you always drop the best footage!! thanks a lot 🙌
Ocean is so beautifull and so raw from this point of view ! Those colours ! 🤩Crazy to be able to swim, to surf such a wild spot 🤪 !
much respect for anyone who surfs knowing there are Man eating sharks out there . My opinion
This is your perspective from the footage from a couple weeks ago! That beginning part was stressful, this one even more so. YIKES!! 😬 But you charged it took some AWESOME rides. GREAT footage, too. YEWWW!!
Your recent vidz are next level Nate - 😮

Love how you travel to the coldest places bro to catch the best waves
Whole thing was intimidating AF 😰 💪🏻
Some of your “shots/angles” almost looks like Teahupoo,…waves sort of folding over and throwing…you’re a beast!
You guys are beyond brave I would have been thinking of sharks 🦈 never would have the ability to enjoy surfing 🏄♂️ 🌊

That’s one of the most sickest waves man
This is why I’m proud to be a scot
A lot of paddling for a couple waves. Isn’t there a better spot in the area?
That paddle out loooked stresssssy! Couple o shots o’whiskey before hand?

He drops into a pit of confusion
And is taken by the god, Poseidon
Only to reappear more alive than ever
The kings of old be praising his riding
The paddle out is nuts
Wow, looks terrifying just sitting on my couch! That speeeeed
Amazing session!
I'm curious about your board dimensions for these slabby waves if you don't mind sharing them 😊
6’0 epoxy about 30 liters 19.25 width
I knew you had this POV.
Epic

Amazing ❤❤ Thank you for sharing my friend.
Nathan, What was worse, the foam or the current pulling you out? How long did it take to find a way back to the shore?
"Love what you do." Appears to be at a totally different level for you 🧜♂️🏄♂️🖖🤙✌
These men are so brave 😮
I would be so afraid of sharks 🦈
Where in Scotland did you go? Looks like it might be Caithness/Sutherland
When the the paddle out looks this scary on Go Pro, you know it’s sketchy AF.
