Synopsis: The thrilling speculative drama is centered on a bullied teen, Maddie (Katie Chang), who receives mysterious help from someone online: a stranger soon revealed to be her recently deceased father, David (Daniel Dae Kim), whose consciousness has been uploaded to the Cloud following an experimental destructive brain scan. David is the first of a new kind of being - an “Uploaded Intelligence” or “UI” - but he will not be the last, as a global conspiracy unfolds that threatens to trigger a new kind of world war.
Pantheon explores the outer limits of what we and our technology are capable of creating and destroying, focusing on the “uploading” of human consciousness into the cloud. It explores the theme of technology through the lens of family, focusing on both the people whose brains have been digitally uploaded, and the loved ones they’ve left behind. Ultimately, Pantheon challenges our understanding of what it means to be human.

@@Yewtewba I guess because there is so much stuff constantly being released it's hard to keep track of everything. That's why I usually don't rush to watch everything called "good" because I watched too much stuff people called good only to find it passable or even meh.
@@Demetrius900000 I agree, it's hard to really value my or any random persons opinion on what a "good show" is. I personally found it to hold amazing quality worth telling other people about, so much so I want other people to do it as well.
It is my recommendation that you give the show a try and see for yourself.

as someone experiencing superhero movie fatigue, im so thankful for these series. im pursuing a degree in IT and this just speaks to me
Just to clarify, is not super hero fatigue. Is more like stupidity and mediocre writing and directing. Remember they are trying to push political agends and they don´t care if the script is stupidly ridiculous.

Because doctors & scientists are trying experiments with peoples brains & make them part robot & they are always trying to make machines come alive & try to implement/install feelings inside them

This show is fantastic. Shame on AMC for cancelling it. They are absolute children with no clue how to market their shows or their service. I read that season 2 is completed but now they have to find another service to release it on. I liked this as much as Amazon's Invincible
I'm hoping for it to be re-released soon, along with Season 2 on a different streaming platform. Pantheon is my favorite show of all time next to Breaking Bad!

Season 2 is coming out next month on prime in Australia, hopefully that means it'll come out in other territories around the same time
Just came here after watching tbe first epusode. Super good. One of the characters is really discord/Reddit coded, they definitely did their homework when it came to writing younger characters and older ones too. I love how diverse the characters are and this show tackles a super unique concept that is essentially relevant in today's world. This is definitely something you want to give a try.

Good shows like this never get recognition and get canceled after a few episodes
i hate it so much when i discover a show that would be my favorite thing to watch when it gets axed
They already finished the entire second season and produced it too. They literally cancelled it and won't release just to prevent other competitors from buying and making money off of it presumably. Just freaking awful in every aspect. All the work animators, writers, producers did. down the drain.
For some strange reason I am now, as of the posting of this, just coming across this show. I will be watching it. Looks fantastic.

i don't buy it. i worth netflix. maybe inside job season 3 was a punishment to the cartoon creators decided to vanished them like dracula.

It's available but if you're not from AU/NZ you'll need to find alternative means of watching it. It's not difficult, though, just a quick search will get you there

Season 2, especially the ending was beautiful. First season was decent but it wasn't like crazy good, but second season was an actual masterpiece, I couldn't hold my emotions during the final episode.

this show was and has been my favorite since it came out. I'm sure many of us are super angry with AMC for cancelling season 2 despite it being finished. It sucks this show was barely promoted and many of us find out too late.

Great TV show! I'm surprised to see it in these days. This is the sci fi I've been looking for the last years. It's of course not without cons, but its pros are much stronger. If you like Mr Robot, Matrix then you'll definitely love this show!

Looks terrific. Like if transcendence with Johnny Depp wasn't terrible.
Also, robot fingers was a fun little homage to Ghost in the shell (a movie about robots achieving human-level consciousness)

Not quite what GiTS is about. An A.I. did achieve that, but, needless to say, this show owes more to GiTS than that finger thing.

@@astro1000000 Transcendence was pretty bad. You may have enjoyed it, but there are far too many flaws with the narrative to warrant it as good. The protagonist in that movie was beyond human level stupidity. I bet even you could come up with better methods to enact plans for a better future for all. Don't kid yourself with flashy visuals and A list actors.
Pantheon, however, was superior in every single way. This show is what Transcendence should have been more like but they destroyed that chance.

this animated show is my kind of guilty pleasure because it has charming dialogue,techno-thriller music in the background and some hacking stuff like mr robot did.
Why guilty? No person would look down on you in watching this. It's a good story.
I was just looking for a guide to the pantheon from league of legends, but I found something unique. Thanks to the authors for this wonderful series for a long time, nothing has clung to me so much
