BUT a lot has changed since I made it, the show is no longer available on AMC+, BUT Seasons 1 and 2 were released on Amazon Prime in New Zealand and Australia. We’re still waiting on a service to carry the show in the US, which I expect will happen before too long! But do not sign up for AMC+ expecting to be able to see it. Fuck those guys.

S2 was amazing. You should make an update video. Even if you haven't seen s2, it would be helpful to get the word out about it. I barely saw any advertisement. Also, for anyone wondering, s2 is basically the ending. Everything is wrapped up. Glad the creators were able to make a mostly satisfying (if a bit confusing) ending.

I saw plenty of ads on facebook. It's just that it's on AMC. I got netflix and amazon, and share hulu and disney. I'm just not paying for another fucking streaming service.... which is why I am unfortunately, not watching Pantheon.

Never would have I expected to see a well-produced animated series that has themes and concepts similar to Permutation City and Diaspora, which are pretty unique as far as sci-fi novels go.
It's one of the few shows that has thrown me into a mild depression for a couple days upon completion. I immediately hopped back to s1e1 when I finished and rewatched the first season.

You know, for me it's kind of ironic that this show is called "Pantheon", because for the longest time after DC comics lost the rights to the name Captain Marvel to Marvel and started calling Billy Batson's superhero alter-ego Shazam (The word he says to transform, and the name of the wizard who gave him his powers), I was wondering why didn't they start calling him Pantheon. It made more since instead of his name being the word he says to transform because if people asked him what's his superhero name, and he said Shazam, he runs the risk of transforming without meaning to. Plus the fact that he literally gets his powers from a pantheon of legendary gods and heroes.
One of the only times I've actually stopped the video at the spoiler warning, watched the whole series, and came back to finish the video. And man am I glad I did.

Same and same. I'm one episode away from finishing and holy crap... this show. It made me FEEL things again, awe, depression, elation, anxiety, excitement, just all the maximum feels. Been a while since I was this inexorably riveted by a story (and I'm viciously picky with the shows/movies I give my time to).

Came across the show when it hit Netflix this month. WOW I have not seen animation make the question what is to be human this much since Ghost in the shell. I love the Show and am hoping that Netflix can get the rights to season 2.
from the reviews I new this show was gunna be good, but I was not ready for how good, like so good it almost brought a tear to my eye on several occasions, and that takes dam good writing. And now it pains me no one else i know has ever even heard of this master piece of a show, let alone watched it.
The Indian tech giant Prasad is based on Mukesh Ambani and I knew that the moment they first introduced him. Him flying around in his chopper while the people of slums living next to his magnificent house was an accurate portrayal of the tech giant. The research team did their best job. Watched Pantheon seasons 1&2. Everything and more that I was hoping for. I especially appreciated the uniqueness of what makes the "pantheon". Cool. If I had my way, there'd be lots more high quality animated storytelling than live action. If you think about it, the reasons are obvious in terms of process, cost, results.
I feel like I have to apologize. I know full well that every time I love a TV series it is the kiss of death, and it will be cancelled in short order. I saw the first two episodes and I carelessly let myself get enthusiastic about it, and I killed it. one of the reasons this show understands the internet becouse the writes do. the tv hacker tropes we all know are a thing becouse the show righters are boomers. we are just now getting to the where maillanioals are head righters. we have a deeper understanding of the internent and tech then any ganeration before or after us. so we can write tech stories better. gen z is good at tech to but there mostly moblie and used to moblie ui so thier actaul level of tech skill is now on avarge.
I’m halfway through season one, and love it. Chanda’s upload was probably the most visceral and horrific thing I’ve seen in an animated series, and I’m astounded they took the risk of showing the procedure. The show has a lot going for it, and my favorite aspect is that they don’t treat any subject with kid gloves

I love people who love this series as much as I do!!! Beautifully articulated and I will be watching again for 3rd time for the upcoming Netflix release on Friday. I just finished watching Pantheon season 2 on Prime (only available in Australia or through the use of a VPN) and in my mind doesn’t miss a beat given the gap left by the ending of season 1 here in North America. It’s worth your time revisiting.
just finished the final episode and wow this was probably the best ending ive seen in animation yet... while i love the ending of atla and fmab as well they both have a end of journey ending to it, or with arcane s1 a big cliffhanger but this felt like a finale that toasted your brain just to be put in a blender but regardless absolutely amazing show, i especially think the ending elevates the whole show to another level and it already was solid to begin with
The marketing and promotional material for this show does NOT do it any justice, it unironically feels like they didn't get paid because they paid the writers and animators instead

Just finished it after having a personal hiatus after seeing episode 2. It is kind of sad it has been cancelled despite there already being finished s2 episodes, but in a way you can still enjoy its current finale as its own kind of ending, with an unknown future.
I would definitely need to see the full list of all of these cancelled animation projects. I’m betting I’ve watched some of them as well as others that have even yet to be released. It’s probably horrific to see. I have no idea why they’ve done this when demand is just increasing and many people want to work on these projects, but they were dumped for the sake of more possible live-action generic rubbish.

I watched the whole show in a couple of days and I feel so empty now that I finished it and found out season 2 is just in Limbo. It was amazing and I really enjoyed it a lot. Hopefully someones picks up season 2.

Came across the show when it hit Netflix this month. WOW I have not seen animation make the question what is to be human this much since Ghost in the shell. I love the Show and am hoping that Netflix can get the rights to season 2.

from the reviews I new this show was gunna be good, but I was not ready for how good, like so good it almost brought a tear to my eye on several occasions, and that takes dam good writing. And now it pains me no one else i know has ever even heard of this master piece of a show, let alone watched it.
I just finished season 2 and I am so happy I saw this. I haven’t seen something I genuinely enjoyed this much for so long.
The Indian tech giant Prasad is based on Mukesh Ambani and I knew that the moment they first introduced him. Him flying around in his chopper while the people of slums living next to his magnificent house was an accurate portrayal of the tech giant. The research team did their best job. It was an emotional and fascinating journey. Thanks for the recommendation 👍

Watched Pantheon seasons 1&2. Everything and more that I was hoping for. I especially appreciated the uniqueness of what makes the "pantheon". Cool. If I had my way, there'd be lots more high quality animated storytelling than live action. If you think about it, the reasons are obvious in terms of process, cost, results.
I think this show got me back into working on my personal sci fi projects. Sci fi and everything within is literally so interesting

I saw the first two episodes and I carelessly let myself get enthusiastic about it, and I killed it. Yeah I've seen pantheon and I can agree that it's a pretty great show, but it's crazy how the marketing has been so bad that us RUclipsrs basically have to do the marketing for whoever runs amc +,which is kinda sad Because pantheon deserves a larger audience and despite it getting a season 2 there's so much more they could explore with more time if you know what I mean

one of the reasons this show understands the internet becouse the writes do. the tv hacker tropes we all know are a thing becouse the show righters are boomers. we are just now getting to the where maillanioals are head righters. we have a deeper understanding of the internent and tech then any ganeration before or after us. so we can write tech stories better. gen z is good at tech to but there mostly moblie and used to moblie ui so thier actaul level of tech skill is now on avarge.

I’m halfway through season one, and love it. Chanda’s upload was probably the most visceral and horrific thing I’ve seen in an animated series, and I’m astounded they took the risk of showing the procedure. The show has a lot going for it, and my favorite aspect is that they don’t treat any subject with kid gloves

Amazon Australia has premiered this new season exclusively to Prime just last week.
I love people who love this series as much as I do!!! Beautifully articulated and I will be watching again for 3rd time for the upcoming Netflix release on Friday. I hope this show and those associated with making get the credit they deserves as it is perfect a series as you get in the realm of thoughtful adult animation.
Please share this show with anyone and everyone. Tired of hidden gems staying hidden. We need more matured creativity like this out there. Not every “cartoon” has to be a kids show. Pantheon is fantastic. Amazing work from everyone involved! Really hope we get more!

I just finished watching Pantheon season 2 on Prime (only available in Australia or through the use of a VPN) and in my mind doesn’t miss a beat given the gap left by the ending of season 1 here in North America. It’s worth your time revisiting.

just finished the final episode and wow this was probably the best ending ive seen in animation yet... while i love the ending of atla and fmab as well they both have a end of journey ending to it, or with arcane s1 a big cliffhanger but this felt like a finale that toasted your brain just to be put in a blender but regardless absolutely amazing show, i especially think the ending elevates the whole show to another level and it already was solid to begin with
The marketing and promotional material for this show does NOT do it any justice, it unironically feels like they didn't get paid because they paid the writers and animators instead

Just finished it after having a personal hiatus after seeing episode 2. It is kind of sad it has been cancelled despite there already being finished s2 episodes, but in a way you can still enjoy its current finale as its own kind of ending, with an unknown future.
Amazon Prime picked up Season 2 for October 15th.

I would definitely need to see the full list of all of these cancelled animation projects. I’m betting I’ve watched some of them as well as others that have even yet to be released. It’s probably horrific to see. I have no idea why they’ve done this when demand is just increasing and many people want to work on these projects, but they were dumped for the sake of more possible live-action generic rubbish.

I watched the whole show in a couple of days and I feel so empty now that I finished it and found out season 2 is just in Limbo. It was amazing and I really enjoyed it a lot. Hopefully someones picks up season 2.

Ah I had put this show on ice as the first couple episodes didnt hook me that hard, but now that I came back and bindged the rest my mind is blown. The plot and world accelerates exponentially
