Body: two-piece centre-jointed American alder with bound ash top.
Neck: custom profiled Canadian hard rock maple. Fingerboard: maple, 10" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, black dots.
Scale: 25.5"/648mm.
Nut: graphite.
Pickups: custom designed Wilkinson WJDTn/WJDTb single coils.
Controls: volume & tone, custom wired 5 way lever switch.
Hardware: Wilkinson WTBS bridge and WJ05 tuners. Luxury Fret-King carry bag included.

Lovely guitar and I had the pleasure of Jerry himself playing my guitar at a recent gig in London. One thing though I find the taper on the volume very fierce indeed. Anyone else find that?
The problem that I find here is that the guy's voice is so much louder and clearer than the guitar itself .The guitar sounds distant and indistinct sadly .
Seymour Duncan Vintage Stack tele pickups is a better choice for the telecaster with the interesting 5 -way switch set up.
I've personally never played a Tele but I'd love to..heard they're great guitars...Me being left handed though it's just hard to find one...

Hey mate yeah 7 1/4" radius , guitar played really well its a Tele with a twist ..
Yeah...I tried playing right originally but all my co-ordination is in my right hand and I wasn't able to alternate pick with my right...Weird...I know but It turned out that way...My last guitar costs $599 for a righty one...but mine cost $699 for the lefty...Quite a pain in the ass...

I have a gut feeling that a good Tele would be my ultimate guitar. Trouble is I've been playing 40 years now and if I don't get that "Sun came up and all is warm" epiphany moment, I might have to get a National and start singin' da blooze! I play an epiphany SG (Epiphone...joke there..see what I did?) and she's fine. Maybe I shouldn't try to fix what's working....

I have picked up a first-run model of this guitar and i must say for the price point it does have a few problems, the pick ups are very microphonic and transmit every tap and knock on the body plus f/back , the pots are frankly a disgrace on a signature guitar, also the spec says frets medium, I definitely disagree here as they are small by comparison to any of my other guitars with mediums, I intend to up-grade to the SD" pick ups as used by jerry and refret the neck and it should be what I expected it to be .

+jammyfacefook when buying on ebay you take a chance but at the price it was a good buy, its now what it was meant to be
good, it could just be a bad setup though if youve bought from ebay though

+TheAngello120 The actual guitar is a generic `samick" build with a large chamber under the pick-guard mine has had all the work done to make it as the actual JD that he uses. I have recently fitted my F'hole Tele custom with a specially wired control plate also fitted my mates G&L tele and the results smoke" the JD tones, brilliant guy to deal with on eBay, made to order no solder connections and amazing results.5-way switching with caps' .
