Fantastic stuff John. I love that kind of Country Telecaster sound. It's a cracking guitar that, especially for the money. Gan canny bonny lad ( oh, I enjoyed yer chat with Mike at CGS )

Rockin' country, the versatile JR Signature Scott Tele shines again under John's tutelage! That Jerry Donahue video is awesome. When he was doing these wild bends at first I thought "Huh, sounds like a trem on a Tele but I can't see the trem", then the camera shows his left hand.

I agree with the your' comments about Jerry D, I met him a couple of times at the Wembley guitar Show when he was touring with the Hellecasters and managed to speak to him and what a really nice guy. After the session, a masterclass of course, the three of them, took time to talk to all their' fans and they took us on stage to have a walkthrough their' gear. Jerry had just had a signature USA custom guitar and a Japanese model released by Fender. Jerry was actually playing the 'budget' version, I asked him about this and and he just gave us all a beaming smile and a wink. John Jorgensen had a deal with G&L for a sparkle finish ASAT Tele and Will Ray had a reverse headstock Fender Tele with B Bender.
Smashing playing from yourself too, John, some excellent licks on offer with most styles covered. You could close your' eyes and think you were listening to a demo CD for a Country 'How to.....' manual!

I saw John Jorgensen doing his gypsy jazz band at music live at the NEC, mindblowingly talented. Had John wheatcroft as his rhythm guitarist.

Many years ago at the music live exhibition in Birmingham I watched Jerry Donahue demoing a new model for JJ guitars (no idea how what was a small new start managed to get someone of his calibre!!)...... it was his last demo on the final day. I was so amazed I ended up trying the same guitar..... and then bought it. Got a really good deal on what was actually the prototype for what became the JJ Electra (was then called the JJ One Cut Classic, name changed to avoid getting a cease and desist from Gibson who were being arsey with anyone doing single cut style guitars at that time).

Nice picking’! I saw the great man with Fairport Convention at Cheltenham Town Hall in er, well could be 1974 or 75. He was outstanding and they were strikingly LOUD,

Wow great solo. I remember that Channel 4 programme I think it was an Equinox. I seem to remember a bit with Seymour Duncan playing and Andy Summers with a strat and a big effects rig.

Got a Fret King tele style JD sig guitar with all the Trev Wilkinson accoutrements on it. Has a V shaped neck profile which is alright but personally not a fan of 7.25 radius and thin frets. Lovely guitar though and beautifully made,
Isn't Trev Wilkinson over at Vintage now? If so does that guitar have Wilkinson parts on it?
Fret Kings are very underrated guitars, at least the Trev Wilkinson era ones, not sure about them these days.

Really like the look of that Tele but cant find any specs that include the weight of the guitar, any chance you could throw it on some scales? Please??

      If I had a set of scales, I would. But I don't, so I won't 😊
