if you are in the market for a new laptop I would recommend an ASUS due to how they are manufactured now compared to HP, Dell, Gateway, etc today. I would go with the Asus i5 20gb Ram 512 SSD drive on Amazon. Link is here

compaq is the best laptop so far . no laptop come near as best. hopefully eventually a lap top in the next decade come close to compete with it.
