    Definitely called these rosettes growing up. I was about to say the correct name, but to unbeknownst to me that they had different names all over the world. But the origin is from Scandinavia.

    I love these and grew up eating them. My mom would make them and lightly sprinkle powdered sugar on them. As Persians, we call them ‘window cookies.’

    I miss those, I haven't had the ones in Hawaii for about 25 years, I've had the Mexican version and it's alright.
