This looks fantastic, for those people complaining about the speed, all you do is watch it in 2x. Perhaps the music pace makes it feel slower. I appreciate the recipe just as it is because it's at a great pace to literally make along side with my kiddos. In a world where everyone needs instant gratification, everything is rush, hurry, speed up go faster, this is refreshing. This video shows almost an old world style patience, love and care. But, watch it at whatever speed you want. Me and my family are looking forward to making it. Thank you for posting, keep going, stay awesome sauce. I appreciate you. ❤️🌞

A great foundational video! I would prefer different nuts such as hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, or pistachios. I'd also add some vanilla extract to the filling. Indeed, I could use white chocolate throughout and then add orange and lemon zest (or maybe berries) to make a fruity desert. My point is that this is a great basic recipe that begs to be tinkered with. My compliments.
This looks amazing!!! I wish there was a printable full recipe though... The ingredients list in the description is nice and i really dont mind too much writing down the steps from the video but its so much easier to have a printable version, just for future reference!! Other than that great job!

I finally find a channel who actually SHOWS all steps!! I love it 😍 perhaps only certain specific things can either be sped up shortened or cut into blinks 👁️. Like the egg n yolk separation . That is a clear easy step that doesn’t require showing 4x in regular speed. But everything else is perfection!!! This is so calming 🤗

Warning! If you boil condensed milk still in the can (2-3 hours for spreading consistency)……make sure it’s completely cool before opening it…..or, you’ll have caramel aaaaaaaall over your kitchen and very hot caramel on you! 😵💫
If you open to soon it will explode I found out the hard way 😂

I love this cake recipe but I would use just whipped cream as the filling and Chocolate Ganache as the frosting over the outside of the cake. Chocolate Ganache is very easy to make and very delicious. You just need the same amount of dark chocolate and whipping cream, ie 250gm dark chocolate to 250ml cream. Then you heat the cream to simmering point, and stir in the broken up chocolate pieces until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture looks like a chocolate sauce. You can then stir a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a couple of tablespoons of rum/ brandy/Bailey's Irish Cream/Tia Maria or whatever liqueur you prefer into the Chocolate Ganache mixture. Then, scrape the mixture into a bowl and beat it with electric beaters on low speed until the Ganache is thick and slightly lighter in colour. It's now ready to spread over the cake. When I make this for a Christmas dessert cake I dust it with icing sugar and put a couple of fake holly leaves and berries on it. You can also make this cake into the French version of Christmas cake which is called 'Buche de Noel' or Christmas Log in English! It's made the same way as this cake, but you cut a piece off one end and make the cake look like a log of wood. In France, they use a buttercream frosting for the filling and over the outside of the cake. I really recommend looking up the recipe 😋

Just like making my pumpkin rolls u just have to really follow exactly how she shoes the rolling. Also putting a pan behind it on the flip is easier. I will try with no nuts. To many people are allergic. Looks real yummy I can't wait to make it

I would only have to say this must be a Holiday special since each slice will have quite a few calories. Now I see why so many deserts are so high in calories and why we Americans struggle with weight issues. The number of ingredients adds up but oh what a treat once in while to have, don’t you think?

Need to add the steps to add with each mixture. Not sure where condensed milk goes. We're able to follow most of it. Looks like a very delicious chocolate log roll.
May we please address the best way to boil the sweetened condensed milk? Some folks have alluded to boiling it while still in unopened can. I assumed you poured it into a saucepan and boiled it. What is the correct/best/easiest technique? Thanks in advance for advice.

This recipe looks very yummy. Is it sweetened condensed or just condensed milk that is used? As both of those milks are white, I wasn't sure how the milk in the video was a caramel colour. So after googling why this is, quora says "boiling unopened cans of sweetened condensed milk is a method used to make caramel. The process involves submerging the unopened cans in boiling water for several hours, which causes the condensed milk to caramelize and turn into a thick, sweet caramel". I think this explanation was missed in the video. I'd definitely like to make this recipe.

Using your hands to separate eggs is actually a bit easier, and you're less likely to get bits of shell in your food. It's what chefs do. 🙂
