Hi Martin can you tell me how many millimeters of down elevator you added to your half flaps and full flaps/air break to slow down the Lizard jet for landing? Thanks! James
Do you have a video of your channel setup for the gyro? How are you controlling all the surfaces with the gyro? I thought you only had 3 per output, elevator has vector, canard, and both elevons. Just curious how you’re doing it, called powerbox USA and they couldn’t explain.
The previous video to this one explains the setup. The Pioneer has three gyro channels per axis, so using one for delta elevator, one for vector elevator and one for canard
Martin, first of all thanks for the your setup. Cannot wait to try it. One quick question tho. What is your travels on your transmitter/gyro switch for each flight mode? Thanks in advance.
Martin i’m so happy that I’ve found Your YT chanel - so many good stuff in one place and Your experience and skills are briliant! unfortunately i can’t afford Lizard but i’m wondering if ones use airfoil for tailles plane with relax or typical symetric like naca 0009 for example?
Martin any chance of doing a how to on setting up Thrust Vectoring on a Mercury and/or a Royal. I am getting ready to do that on a Jet. Love your videos, really love your how to videos. You make everything so easy after watching them. Thanks.
Brilliant Martin! Videos like these make me want one too! After your last lasding at +- @12:01 you make sharp turn and the plane stops almost immediately, does it have brakes on the wheels too or do you just fully trust the landing gear?
Excelentes videos Martin, pero tengo una pregunta: Si manejas todos tus gains fijos por flight mode (off, normal, crazy 3D), ¿exactamente cómo se maneja el gain del iSAT?
Hi Martin I purchased my own SAB Lizard. So I wanted to ask to perform all the 3D stunt you did in this video. Is your jet set-up on high rates? I was wondering if I would need to setup my jet on high rates to do all the 3D stuff or will I be able to do them in low rates. I have a Tortuga that I fly on low rates. This is my first turbine jet and first 3D jet.
The surface rates are quite low (nothing crazy) and I use same rates all the time. The crazy comes from the vector, which I also have always on but with high expo so only acts with large stick inputs
Martin, excellent flying! Sending it the way it should be! Question, what did you ever end up with on a final wet weight for yours? Does the Jetcat 130 vs a 120 make that big of a vertical difference (or am I also seeing a lighter setup!)? PS, the slippy-slide game when applying brakes on pavement. I had the same thing. The stock JP/SAB gear are very binary and love to lockup. Pop the wheels open, remove the little retainer disc magnets, and enjoy. FAR more linear brake feel afterwards. I only regret that it took blue tire smoke and some flat spots for me to remember I had to do that on my T1 as well :P Cheers!
Hi mate. I don't have a reliable way to weigh models (other than curiosity I never much saw the benefit, it is what it is and I can't change it - but thats just my own view) I think that the JetCat P130 v the old P120 won't see much difference in performance, as JetCats have always been very powerful, for 3D though I would have to say that the old P120's don't have the acceleration the new ones do... About the magnets, I actually already did that and they still lockup... nothing like Electron's I guess!!
Thanks Martin for another awesome video. One question, on your final tweaks of this Jet did you go with high rates and lots of expo like you mentioned in one of your earlier videos? James
Talking very rough figures, you are looking at about 2k for airframe with accessories and landing gear, 2k for the turbine and between 1-2k for the rest of electronics.
That is insane! Awesome video!
This imo is the coolest sport jet there is hands down amazing little jet
Amazing flight Martin!
I absolutely love this plane. I have only got Her young sister, Tortuga. This one day. Great flight as usual. Loved every second, thank you 👍🏻
Wow man, great flying! And that 2nd landing was just awesome! I didn’t know you make a jet drift on the tarmac. 👍👍
Simply STUNNING!!! But thats normal for you Martin ;-))))

That thing is incredible!!!!! My new favorite jet. That I'll never own.
Thank you for the video!! love it.
DAMN! Thats awesome

Hi Roland, I left my tx settings on 100% and just payed with each of the gyro values inside the iGyro SAT, one by one
@@MartinPickering-PickeringRC - great, thank you for the response!

Very impressive!
Awesome setup!
Say on the SAB Tortuga with no rudders.. Would you do and mixing with the canard to elevator for a flaps setting?
Its on the list! so far only using rudders, need to pluck up the courage, it should work, on paper at least!
Where is this beautiful model airport. Great flying👍

Great Job.
MP you’re a legend!
A thumb stick cam would be awesome. Great video!
Drifto! Pure epicness.
And now the M169 HAVOK :) this thing looks so cool !!
It looks like a Multiplex Funjet on steroids 😃
Nice flying!
How does it compare to your special J10?

Yes, exactly, avoids the room for mistakes!
What’s the advantage of leaving Attitude Assist on? I have it turned off on my Mercurys and Royal.
It heading hold, only recommended for elevators and ailerons- not rudders.
Can SAB Lizard EDF version do this (stable in one posotion)?
Hi Martin, did you respect the CG or did you back it up a bit
martin eres muy bueno haciendo acrobacias con el lizard
Would you share your set up on the core I’m trying to do the same but on a mirage 2000
If you find the video just before this one, I have the full programming setup
@@MartinPickering-PickeringRC thank you brother
Hello
How much does the jet cost when it is built up like this?
Talking very rough figures, you are looking at about 2k for airframe with accessories and landing gear, 2k for the turbine and between 1-2k for the rest of electronics.
Great flying and great vid! Which Mode do you fly? Greetings from Germany :)
Tokyo drift at the end🤣
this thing might be the ultimate weapon if it was built normal jet sizes for military purpose
Now that’s how jets were made to fly in the beginning. 😂 nice flying.
Nobody: 3D flyer don't fly rc jet
MP: hold my transmitter
Just "some of what it can do"...what else?
