Just curious if you knew about usingTR3 for RR most jobs I can panel paint with it and if I’m blending I use it 99 percent of the time and it always turns out beautiful
I’ve had that issue one time. Out of the hundreds if not thousands of jobs. It was a coarse silver and a clear I wasn’t very familiar with. Two coats usually doesn’t cause any swimming pool effect. More coats or super thick thick clear could but for my system I don’t have any issues.
I don’t like blending into it wet these days. It floats metallics and can actually make it harder to get a clean blend. I like to get it started drying before spraying color. Doesn’t have to be fully fully dry but not wet enough metallic will float around in it.
Well you made that look easy Joel😅very nicely done Sir I like watching you paint as it looks do effortless🙏👍John UK
Beautiful job. Keep up the awesome videos

I definitely do but I always find it lacks the depth a lot of them have. This RR is so simple I don’t mind spraying it three stage!
I can respect that haha!
Did 3m release those vented cups yet?
Yes they should be available early next week!
gonna be asking my dealer about them!!@@olie_olie_paintz
Does two full coats of the clear effect the appearance between your front blend door and the rear door?

So I’ve seen people use the clear base but they don’t let it dry. Whats better? Does it matter?

@@olie_olie_paintz oooooh ok that’s something I never thought about!
Was the mid coat a tinted clear?
Nope just a transparent mid basecoat.
