Eddie Vedder has been doing this for a while, bringing Chris Cornell to the school to hang out with children with disabilities is an absolute rockstar.

Very touching. Both Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell are so deep and spiritual., every time I have seen either one of them sing someone else’s song they magically and I’m sure with deep respect , make the song they’re own and I love it. R.IP. Chris Cornell, beautiful soul.😘😔🦆🦆

I have raised my Autistic and ADHD grandson for 14 years. H e is an amazing 6' and 250. To top it off he is so beautiful we have literally had people stop him and just breathlessly tell him wow you are beautiful! Which is so awesome but the hard thing is unlike them they don't see his struggle and disabilities and it breaks my heart. These kids and families are the finest there is and Eddie and Chris get it.

He didn't lose his mind "just for a couple of minutes". Did you not hear the end of Soundgarden's last show? He added "In My Time of Dying" in the middle of "Slaves and Bulldozers". I can't be the only person that thought that was completely out of the ordinary. Too bad I wasn't actually at the show, though.

    • @starburstppl
      @starburstppl 4 года назад +7

@Jamison Palmer, you don't know what the crap you are talking about. Depression is an illness, just like cancer or any other illness. My brother suffered with clinical depression most of his life, and took his own life when he couldn't stand the pain and suffering anymore. God is NOT going to send someone to hell for taking their life anymore than he would from someone suffering from any other illness. Got that? Let it sink in for a moment. Get your facts straight before opening your uneducated mouth. Chris is in Heaven, and so is my brother.

    • @jsin3104

The replies to this comment are crazy. It's a harsh world, and when a debilitating mental illness is added to one's list of pros and cons as to whether or not they want to remain in this world, Heaven simply becomes thoughts of stillness and peace, not a place only "Godly" people can get into. Besides, if men like Chris Cornell & Chester Bennington aren't allowed in, who would even want to be there?

Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell actually were in [their first?] band together called "Temple of The Dog" the name of the CD if I'm not mistaken was called Hunger Strike. I'm not sure if this CD was A project Chris and Eddie did as A side project from Pearl Jam & Sound Garden but I'm almost sure it was before. Then they parted ways and gave us two of the greatest bands and both bands had my top 10 favorite singers! I think Chris and Eddie grew up together and formed a garage band in Seattle Wa. Please anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong😊A very beautiful song from that CD is called "Say Hello to Heaven"
America lost a very talented. Musician the day he passed away. I will never forget Chris Cornell

God I miss you Chris...your lyrics, music, especially the Temple of the Dog album got me through some of the demons that haunted my life and the pain I went through to become the strong woman I am today. I was listening to Audioslave during my nature walk today and I broke into tears because I, myself, have many times thought of suicide but music, especially Cornell's voice and powerful lyrics spoke to me and helped me see the sun shine at the end of the storm. May you rest in peace Chris and may God be with your family. This fan...will never forget your music and will carry on your memory in my heart and soul!

Why are many of us drawn to stories of super hero’s ? because many of us aspire to be heroic, we want to champion a worthy cause.
Look at these two hero’s (Eddie and Chris) look at the beautiful gesture to surround the stage with special guests who might not otherwise had ever had an opportunity to be that close and the clearly meaningful effect the music seemed to have on their special listeners.
Two absolute studs (Eddie and Chris)
    Nothing short of heroism !
8 out of 10 musical artists would not ever do something this beautiful, but your looking at the 2 out of 10 hero’s who would !

Underrated part of this is Chris looking over and matching Eddie on the fly for the chorus after the first line

This is such a beautiful, beautiful video. I hope it benefited the Bridge School. I hope it benefits them for years to come, being uploaded on RUclips. Everybody is in top notch form - spectacular. These poor guys were on the road so much, they couldn't even keep in touch. So this video is even more blessed. Amen, Chris. I hope you are at peace, I really do. Whether it was deliberate or in error. I hope God guides you to your next destination for pure enlightenment and fulfillment. You were so blessed with such talent, your soul can only be lead to greater and better things. Trust in spirit and let Source be your guide.
You are stronger now. Travel on.

Let me tell you something as the parent of a special needs daughter all SPN people want is to be included. My daughter is 18 years old not one birthday party invitation not one sleepover not one trip to the mall not one date or anything that are normal teenager experiences. So when you come across a special needs person make them feel like they belong. You will make a friendship that will last a lifetime with someone who is more genuine than anyone you've met in your life! Just cuz their bodies Limited their minds are not.

Special needs people are some of
The most beautiful and loving people in this hateful world
      They have feeling too
And to be left out of
      Birthdays sleep overs or anything
Is selfish. Other parents that let their children leave out these beautiful people should be ashamed
I worked with kids at church
      And I've seen NORMAL KIDS
normal. What the hell is normal
I loved working with special needs kids
WHY because they are like Elephants
      They DONT FORGET
      I ALWAYS INCLUDED THEM
And spent MORE TIME WITH THEM
Because all they want is what we ALL
WANT and that's to be TRULY LOVED
TO ALL THOSE SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS
      PLEASE REMEMBER
      THATS WHAT YOU TRULY ARE
      SPECIAL GOD BLESS YOU ALL
AND OL BIG ED LOVES YOU

@@bigdaddyed1347 I don't know if you've ever seen the movie rain man with Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise? That's about a man named Kim Peek. Kim has passed on but the condition that he had a Genesis of the corpus callosumit's the same that my daughter has. Essentially the extension cord for the brain what we have that allows the right brain to move the left and vice versa they do not have so they develop two brains.she reads the right page with her right eye and the left page with her left eye and anything she reads she instantly memorizes and it's there forever.she reads astrophysics and nuclear physics books it may be only 1% of the world can understand like you and I would read a Louis L'Amour before going to bed. but at the same time she will have her little cell phone her computer and the TV on three different shows and she's watching all three of them at the same time knows everything that's going on. Look on RUclips for Kim Peek. my daughter is also a savant it's much like having an eighteen-year-old smart but Google you have to feed.lol

@@brt-jn7kg yes I've seen the movie.
And KIM PEEK ON A TV PROGRAM
it kills my heart to hear someone say
      The word RETARD
I've got in people's faces over that word. God makes us all different
      BUT HE WORKS OVER TIME
      TO MAKE SOME SPECIAL
I love ta see the special Olympics
And watch people smile as they try
And they win NOBODY'S a loser
Just the stupid people that dont know the heart of a special needs person
A hug. A loving and kind word
Man ta see a child smile
Is a true gift from god.
I've seen the looks from people
When a person with down syndrome
Goes by. Or a child in a wheelchair
That cant walk , talk, or just do anything we take for granted
I try and be nice to them
      Not from pitty ,or sympathy
But out of love. I met a beautiful young man on our Disney cruise that sat at our table with his family
And my 2 daughters feel in love with him made him feel loved. Hey Joel ya want ta go with us around the ship. Had a dang blast. We all exchanged
Numbers at the end of our cruise
And 5 years later still my girls would call him. Love not hate or stares
May god bless you and ur beautiful daughter. Dont know either of you
      But I love you both
