- Today, May 3rd, is not only the 20th anniversary of the day the original Spider-Man film debuted in theaters, it's also my 25th birthday! To commemorate both occassions and my favorite superhero of all time, I've put together this compilation of some of our favorite webslinger's greatest moments on the silver screen, accompanied by Yellowcard, one of my favorite bands in the world, with the song they did for the "Spider-Man 2" soundtrack in 2004.
I hope you enjoy this half as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

Ive got to take a moment to say, awesome mashup. But can we all sit back and realize that Spider-Man 2’s soundtrack, where gifts and curses is from, is probably a top 5 greatest movie soundtrack? Also, when Norman said that line in the last movie, “these aren’t curses, they’re gifts.” My nostalgia just went overboard
That’s why I was so disappointed this song wasn’t in No Way Home!!! Even how it ended perfectly encapsulates the notion of “Gifts and Curses”
I hate so much that this absolutely fantastic song is not available on Spotify
Its literally the reason i switched my entire catalogue and playlists to yt music. 😅

I sadly didn't catch the Garfield or Holland movies for this re release series, but I finally got to see the Raimi trilogy on the big screen in April
Hoping to catch all 8 when they run it back starting in August

Spider-Man just means so much to so many people around the world and inspired kids for generations. Stan Lee's, Jack Kirby's and Steve Ditko's Legacy is monumental❤

this song means a lot to me, it is part of my childhood along with Tobey Maguire Spiderman and I keep listening to charge my battery when I feel low, and in some way, it connects me to another person. Thank you so much, really appreciated! ❣

It is truly a gift and a curse...
If you were to make another version of this, the only thing I would add is more dialogue during the buildup, it was so perfect what you added here. And I wish you would’ve left in all of them shouting with excitement when all three of them jumped when the guitar hit. I love this song and I actually now just listen to and watch this video with it because the dialogue added in gives me chills each time. Excellent, excellent!
I've definitely thought about remaking this. Although I am incredibly proud of this one, I definitely would like to make another one featuring some things that didn't make the cut here, like Tony Stark telling Holland's Peter "if you're nothing without the suit you shouldn't have it", the train scene in SM2, and, as you mentioned, the 3 Spideys shouting during their swing together.
I've also thought about doing one with just scenes from the Raimi trilogy. Perhaps I'll do multiple remakes haha

Knew I’d start crying at the buildup to the guitar solo at the end.
The idea to put that scene at that part of the song came to me the day I saw No Way Home haha I knew I had to do it that way. It was a stroke of genius and I'm glad I saw it to fruition 💝💝💝💝
