Babies can be tough to get dressed, especially when they cry and kick the entire time! Follow (and practice beforehand if you can) how to dress you baby in an easy way until you get the hang of it. You will be doing it with your eyes closed before you even know it!
NB: You can dress a baby exactly the same way while the umbilical cord is attached, just make sure the cord is outside of the nappy.
The GOLDEN rule for dressing: baby should always be wearing one more layer than you have on, and blankets count as a layer. Double folded blankets count as two layers. In summer: a light breathable blanket can be used as a swaddle. In winter, beanies can be worn outside the house but not inside as babies can easily overheat.

It really depends on your preferences and what your baby's reaction is. For the first 18months I dressed my kids from the bottom up if I could because they hated clothes going over their heads. But other babies don't mind too much so whatever you find easier or more convenient! 😊

Is this real video ? It cant be. Showing people how to dress their kids. When did this become so complicated? And when did there become experts on it ?

You'd be surprised how unsure many new parents feel when they bring their babies home ☺. It's not complicated but parents are scared they do something wrong that might hurt the baby.

I personally appreciate it. I haven’t dealt with infants in over we a decade and I never was around young babies growing up. So this will be very helpful when my first little one is here. Nothing wrong with education. If you know it all don’t watch

I had no idea those envelope sleeves had a purpose. No matter how basic the video is, there’s always something new to learn.

It is helpful for new parents, who don’t have no one around to help, teach or were never around newborns long time ago etc. Even if I knew some stuff theoretically I still feel nervous if I will do it in the most comfortable way for my baby in just few weeks.
