Hey dude! A good but chilled water is that of Salcombe. Usually calm and many beaches to discover in the estuary! Then it's just a beautiful when you get onto the sea. Another is abersoch. Anywhere around the twon of abersoch is explorers heaven. Brill content. Love it.
Thanks for the tips! Salcombe is on my list for this year. Not heard of the other place, I’ll do a bit of research. Thanks for subscribing, lots planned for 2024.
Well if you and your partner ever make it down here I have two boards you can borrow and I’ll take you to some cool caves that are suitable for beginners.
Just came across your channel and love this. I'm glad your finding those moments of joy and peace! Have just got into SUP myself so will surely be going through your videos to find some great places to go !
Thank you for the lovely comment. I’ve some really special places to share this year, both down in te south west and further afield. Sup is amazing, so good for you mentally and physically.
Absolute gem of a place , been there many times can’t wait to return 2023 , we went from lulworth to durdle door , we stopped at stair hole to do snorkelling then went on to durdle , amazing experience, we then stopped at man o war cove , we found the history of this place so interesting. 👍🏻
It’s so rich in history and beauty. Next weeks video is about two great locations just along the coast, much less known but equally as interesting. Thank you for commenting, Safe paddling.
looks awesome.I need to do this sometime. The couple of times i have been to lulworth the conditions haven't been right to even think about it with waves of about 4ft high at the mouth meaning i was paddling round the cove.
@@TheOptimisticAdventurer Finally did my first Lulworth to Durdle door as a solo trip early morning on my 50th birthday in August. Little too rough to go into stair hole that day but managed it on the same trip in early march with a nice group of 8 other paddlers.
I’m really interested in starting SUPing but my bf isn’t interested in doing it with me 🥺 think I’ll have to try and find a local group. This looks beautiful, exactly what I’m needing. Thank you for sharing 🤍
Thank you for sharing. What a great video with helpful advice. As this is one of my to-do plans for this year it is perfectly timed :) How long does it take to paddle between Lulworth cove and Durdle Door?
Took just under an hour each way, but I was stopping to fly the drone and land it back on the paddleboard (stressful). So 2.5 hours there and back with the cave explore. i was worried by some kayakers who said they’d heard the swell was building so i rushed it.
Much appreciated! I've just subscribed and I can see you have lots of videos perfect for where I am at - and dream of doing in the future! Happy adventures and all the best!
@@mattsmyname77 yes, well spotted! Realised after the upload. Thanks for stopping by. Have you done it yourself? Greatness today for the trip by the looks of it. I am heading out 30 miles west of this area today .

What a scenery bud, this looks just amazing! Shots are brilliantly captured 🔥🔥
Thank you Ervin, landing the drone on the paddleboard was a stress! I need an assistant on dry land.
Very useful info. Thanks for posting. I too would never go back to DD other than out of season.
Peak season on the path is hell, absolutely chaos.

you’ll get your day Ollie and it will be all the times you’ve tried that will make that day sweeter and more memorable. Safe paddling

@ollie1317 sounds epic, yes Stair Hole can get very feisty in even a small swell.

There are groups all over the country, what area (roughly) are you? And thank you for the comment, you are very welcome.
