- Many of the places I post about with my Paddleboard require a certain level of fitness or skill to safely get to. And while these caves are only a short paddle from the beach, I still take my GPS BEACON, safety kit and means to contact land. The sea can change in an instant, even on a flat calm day, so be prepared at all times.
These small caves are West along the coast from Maidencombe Beach, there’s more beyond where I went but I got distracted by the seals and dolphins.
A beautiful, simple paddle for intermediate paddlers.
There are very often seals to see and I’ve been lucky enough to paddle, close up with dolphins in this are. Number of times.

Amazing upload friend, this place looks so exotic. Absolutely beautiful scenery 🔥🔥
When you come to England I’ll take you paddleboarding my friend.
W❤️W! That’s Incredibly Awesome! Cheers for more exciting and breathtaking adventures!🥂❤️✨
Thank you for such a lovely comment. More to come, caves and wildlife.
Thanks for sharing, that looked really lovely. We have paddle boards but only been out once so would feel out of our comfort zones in the sea. Hopefully by the end of this summer we will be able to venture out more.
Canals are great places to build up stamina and ability. Good luck, enjoy your paddling and thank you for watching me of my videos. Dom.
Wow well done!
Thanks for the visit.
It’s definitely on my list to paddle board there in next couple months 👍🏼thanks
We quite often get a few nice days in Sept/October. Won’t be busy either. Enjoy.
@@TheOptimisticAdventurer just checking it out on maps now 👍🏼
Really peaceful x
What tide do you recommend?
Slack tide (1 hour between a low and the start of the next rise). Early morning will give you the best chance to see dolphins, certainly in the summer when the water is very loud with various craft. Remember wind direction is quay when paddling, wind hitting a tide going in an opposite direction can cause waves on a previously calm sea.
Nice video mate !😀
Thanks! 😀 Was so nice to finally have some suitable weather and seas. You been out this year?
