Hello, my name is Yadin, and I am 17 years old from Israel. You have an amazing talent! And thanks to you I got the courage to cut my samurai into pieces and build it like I always dreamed. Keep it up!
When you do hybrid rear change the axle couplers out for the samurai ones and you are ready to go me and my dad did this to my samurai 11 years ago and it ia still a solid setup i dont go through as many rear ends😎 it propane with locrite locker in front with birfield rings pressed on axles welded rear 5.13 gears and 4.16-1 gears in the transfercase still sprung under with revolvers amd a full custom exocage it goes so good it doesnt hop it just goes so i decided not to spring it over it doesnt flex nearly as well as sprung over with the revolvers but it goes everywhere i point and i dont like main paths i like full balls fuckin passeger shit there pant foot to the floor never let up and grab another and fly though the bushes gotta love playin ping pong off the trees😋and i have been ripping this same setup on two samurais for years😎✊🏻
That woulda been awesome, i bought them from Roadless gear, nice looking perches! i try not to ask for hand outs, my channel is still small...lol Thanks for watching Zak!
@@DrZFabrication yo Zack, i bought Diesel Zuk's old samurai, and the missing link on the front doesnt have the fangs on it to keep the shackle from going inverted. what would it cost to get just the newer missing links so they dont go inverted? also, I'm thinking about some delrin bushing between the upper link and the chassis in the stock samurai bushing location to help the shackle from twisting while collapsed. You ever try that to see if it helps? This video shows what i mean: ruclips.net/video/EI4Kmr0zPC8/видео.html
John's jig looks like it made that project a hundred times easier! I wonder if you would have been able to check the straightness, using the rod method, but without removing it from the jig if there were holes with a simple bushing setup in the ends of the jig... Looking forward to your next installment!
Yes i was thinking of doing that very idea with the holes in the end. John lives 2 hours away from me and i had his jig for quite a while, so i wanted to get it back to him. Im gonna check straightness of the hybrid with a shaft, and if and when its straight i'll make my own jig. I just got home from camping/jet boating, and am headed to run the whipsaw trail in 8 days from now, so another installment is gonna be a bit. Thanks for watching!
@@FabbinAdventures - no worries. Definitely have fun on that Whipsaw trip. Wish I was closer and had an adequate rig to join in. Till then, keep the rubber side down (mostly)!
Lol will do, i plan on doing moab, possibly next year or the rubicon maybe, time will tell, but ill put out a notice if i do get something set in stone!
Nice job! Its a neat thing to experiment with. I'm still a yota axle guy through and through. They are relatively light and 30 splines will always be stronger then 26. I'm still very interested to see how this turns out, keep it up!
@@FabbinAdventures The fire extinguisher next to the Hobart welder is a cartridge operated extinguisher. If you don't know what it is, I hope you know how to use it if you ever need it...
Thats a good question, i dont remember, besides it all depends on where you cut the center section, and the axle tubes slide about 3/4" inside the center section! Thanks for your comment!
If you get side kick ring and pinions, the samurai ring and pinion is too small. The advantage to building the hybrid is to use the suzuki side kick or chevy trackers bigger ring and pinion. So what ever gear set you can get for a Side kick you can install into this diff. Thanks for watching.
Toys are bigger, stronger, heavier, costlier and wider. I have 5:13's stock Sammy front end, Hybrid rear with new DOM axle tubes. Only popped 2 Birfieds In over 25 yrs. Toys would be a great choice, especially for 35" tires. Better ground clearance with Zook. (Smaller Pumpkin 🎃
So it sounds like a samari center diff would be bad and week in my Tracker with my 5.125 gears. So just get a locker for my Tracker rig is best it sounds.
Fabbin Adventures yup no problem. I have a hybrid with heavy duty axle tubes and sidekick bearing cups for bigger wheel bearings. All from trail tough. Also running 5.13 gears.
Thumbs up if you wish Ron was your neighbor. 🤣🤣🤣
Lol Thanks for the kind words man!

Not a new idea, I've had mine for longer than I can remember
Never said it was a new idea, just making content and showing that you dont have to buy over priced stuff from the retailers.
Looking awesome dude!
Thanks man, cant wait to finish it!
Great job! I love the Ansul cart op in the background. I'm surprised when I see someone with even a 5# ABC.

What were your final samurai tube lengths before inserting and welding?

Can we install 4.57 or 5.38 gear crown ring and pinion made for samurai by LowRange Offroad on the stock diff?

Why not toyota axles

Yes, just get a locker, the Samurai center or 3rd we call it wont fit, its too small.
Sidekick center diff - Sammy Offset
Yep
How much will coast one
Are you the old motocross champ Ron the Machine....? Great vids, I'm building a 95 Tracker.
Lol no im not, though the wife has called me a machine at times!
Thanks for watching! Whatcha got planned for your tracker?
Will a samari center diff fit in my 95 Tracker rear end. I found one with a locker.
No it wont, the housing is too small.
You thinking of 5.13 gears. There are no 5.29s for these. There are 4.30 4.62 and 5.13s also a couple other rare gear ratios
Ya sorry my mistake..thanks for watching!

Yeah, thats how i shoulda did it, oh well, i can always build another if i feel the need!

Hi buddy how much to make me one
Where do you live and do you have the parts?
could i do thus with a sj410?
thanks
I think you probably could, i think tbe 410 axles are even narrower than the samurai though.
@@FabbinAdventures oh okay, I’m think I’m about swapping over to the Samurai axles, more parts available
Yes, then you could fo it for sure
@@FabbinAdventures thank you 💪
Make an electric conversion
Xl7 got bigger again
I wonder if the axles stayed the same? Would need to still be able to use the samurai axles.
Thanks for watching Fabbin Adventures!
@@FabbinAdventures they are the same spline size and same bearings on the carrier and pin to same yoke to
