+kevin belo I actually think they ended up getting 3rd in brass achievement and 4th in content for finals. Definitely not their best year, but they're still amazing. Now the hornline does move better than any hornline out there. Their visual package is always spot on.
I've listen to Devils and Crown back to back over and over again. There is so many soprano weaknesses in the Devils horn line. It is an astonishing thing to me that the horn line of the Devils even got the placement they did.
+MattyIce S If you actually conduct it, It flows much better than a traditional 3/4 pattern at fast tempos. It's my personal favorite for anything 3/4 at 172/176 or faster

they're called E to O's. its to get the throat more open. going from tight tense throat to deep open throat
Also look up Breathing Gym, put together by Sam Pilafian and Pat Sheridan. BD (and a lot of other hornlines) follow their principles.
