I ordered two for my son an I can’t wait to order these tires .. you should put links for the other upgrades you do .. looking forward to the other videos
Did you have a hard time with screwing the nut because of the bead lock screws. I have a set of RC4WD bead locks and I can’t even use my thin walled 5mm nut driver because it would rub up against the bead lock screws and can’t tighten the nut all the way down. Any reply would help thanks.
Hey brother. I installed steel links and steel driveshafts on my Trx4m Decender. Stock wheels but mud slingers. Now after 7-8 min, it overheats and quits running. Thoughts? Thank you sir. 😊
Thats not alot of weight so It shoudnt be overheating. I was overhaeting as well but i have a lot more weight on mine. Maybe first try the fan i install in the bronco. It works great to cool it down. And i got two for like 8.99. The link is in the description of the last bronco vid i posted.
Are there any benefits to the Defender? Our LHS didn’t have any broncos available so I bought 2 defenders…one for me and my son. We’re new to crawlers…just bash bigger trucks so far. This is our first pair of small RCs…
Welcome to the crawler life. Now open your wallet😂. It gets very addictive🤷♂️. The defender can be made almost as capable as the bronco. You just need to put low range gear sets in them then add weight down low. Just google for the low range or ask your hobby shop to order them. There are a lot of great brass parts that just came out on amazon right now. Here is a link to a couple i would start with amzn.to/3Di8XOJ amzn.to/3kRvbAw These parts are pretty easy to install and will make them perform very well. Wheels and tires are awesome as well. Check out my other episodes for more info.👍
@@obrothersrc Thanks for the quick reply! I’ve already thrown on the injora 7mm brass hub extenders and the brass steering link. Both seem to have already made a noticeable difference. My son is going to want anything and everything I do to mine so I need to pace myself. Those links will be next. I appreciate the help!
They should be fine with the crawler gears, I don’t think you’d feel any hang ups with those. I mean….i run the slingers on my stock scx24 and it runs just fine 🤔
I thought the big motor would be much stronger than it is. Im going to get a set of the gears and see what that does. Im also going to pull a motor out of my panda and see if it has any more power.
Ya man they both look great, I'm loving my blue bronco
Following ..... great video

The crawler gears is where it's at!
I just got another set for the bronco today. It took a bit of searching though. Cant believe how much more control you get w the new gears.

Yes i did. I use a small pair of needle nose pliers to tighten it the last few turns.

You might want to swap sides with your tires (tread pattern is backwards) on both trucks
I run them that way on purpose
Some tires are best backwards as they grab better.
Hard to pick. Good to have one as a rock crawler and other for trail
duty. Also are those neg 3 mm offset wheels? Or standard
Those are neg offset.
@@obrothersrc Looks great.
Bronco the best ;]
