Closely following both your channels, you guys are doing a good job. These cars deserve good owners and homes. Was an apprentice at Nissan, Dubai in the late 70's and got to work on the "lady", although cosmetic. The "Cedric" (or 260C) and the light bus used the same series of L24,26,28 engines. These cars are fun to drive, good acceleration and firm handling, the perfect GT/sports car and not overly complicated.
@@sparkiesshed3818 Mine has bubbles on the driver side of that area, but on the flat part not on that curve area. My car has been sitting in storage for more than 4 years. Hopefully after the rainy season ends I will get it back running again.
Great work!
Very excited to follow this project and see how it turns out in the end, looks very promising! 👍🏻
Thank you
That's great work, wish my Z was in as nice a shape as yours.
You and me both lol
Slowly getting better here. Datsuns do not like the weather here in Ireland so making sure the rust is all gone before hitting the road
Man that’s a bunch of work. My 2 Texas 240Zs had a bit of dogleg rust and hatch bottom rust
I have no reason to complain
They do not like Irish weather. 😐
Excited to watch this one!
It was fun

Cheers for the pleasure working on your Fairlady Z Eric. It will be a beaut when it's done
Heck yeah!! That turned out nice!!! Curious what thickness sheet metal you used for that patch?
Went with 1mm. Closest to what was on it. 🙂
If it rains water will not enter that area?
Yeah I mentioned in the description that I left out the welding at the sill. All is sealed up now.
