Stay strong brother! You can do it. I beat the odds and it’s your turn! God has you back, turn to him. “Higher power” that AA pitched for years is too convenient and lacks the power to fully release you. Go to Jesus, brother. None of us are too intellectual, none of us are strong enough alone, none of us have what it takes to die on our feet, without him. You can do this. Let your last relapse be your *last* relapse.
Somebody pray the drink out of me please!!!!! Pretty please
Jim... I know its you, lighting our souls with your fire again... Thank you!!!
This one made me tear up a little... I hope that your sentiments here are old. And if not, I hope that you can internalize the fact you're making a difference with your art here. It's something special, and it's obvious it comes from a lot of lived experience. Thanks for putting a little of your stream of consciousness out into the world - a lot can relate :)
you may like Michael Tsarion, olivia, see you here again w Jung-like speech
✌
@@Anonymous-km5pj I assume you mean Carl Jung? I'm only really familiar with his archetypes, so I'm not sure what you mean by Jung-like speech... but I will look into Michael Tsarion! Thank you for the recommendation :)
@@oliviastrees yes, Carl Jung. Somehow he and maligned Freud squeaked thru the commie crack => all they've taught us in schools for 200 yrs - Darwin, Nietzsche, Schopenhauer and Marx - incestuously leaving out the greater many philosophers and scientists who have done wonders explaining human psychology. But we've got their sage books and that is all we need, along w the love of wisdom (philosophy etymology).
Mtsar, as he calls himself, is a prolific curator of our human history. Idc if he puts 17 sugars in his tea, he can call himself what he wants he's given us so much as have the others. Be well uh ? 🤍✨
Well said.
Whoah. I love the star wars reference just thrown in the middle of it!
Young man your heart is connected to it brother. You're a real talent. This world acts like it don't know but we do.
Blown away, you do it every few days and it's such a pleasure to witness. Thanks Jesse.
You're a beautiful songwriter and I hope you never lose that gift that was given to you.
I couldn't, but you did. Keep them coming Brother!
Yay! WISCONSIN! Represent!
You are loved and valued, Jesse!
This song is my favorite so far Jesse. I can’t stop listening to it. It’s so relatable. I thought I would die young too and maybe I wanted to. But I just turned 30 and I’m still here so I guess I’ll keep going. Thank you for sharing your gift with the rest of us 🩵💜💙
I enjoy the social and political commentary songs, but I love the personal tracks.
It's a beautiful and sad existential battle, but I'm glad you're still singin.
Miss music like this❤
That hits hard Jesse. You’ve got the connect to the muse. 🤟✌️
