Transformers Prime Arcee was and is one of my favorite Transformers characters ever. Her blue color, with those little touches of pink, her bada$$ motorcycle alt mode, her personality, her voice, how she cared for and looked out for Jack like a mother, etc.

It'd be hilarious if when TFP finally gets Master Piece figures in a decade or so the MP versions were just re-releases of first edition figures with upgraded accessories.
Transformers prime will always be my favorite series. Always wanted to have the main cast but never could.
I have the whole team. Well...at least Autobots. But still need wheeljack and smokescreen. And I need unicron arachnid shockwave predaking breakdown. Will edits if I think of any more

I like how they made arcee a bad ass character because it helps new fans see how fembots can be bad ass characters not just a weak fragile transformer who needs optimus prime to save them
well, Prime Arcee is more based on G1 Chromia than other versions of Arcee
Well, all they needed to do was write her well which they accomplished. Thankfully they didn't go the route of IDW Arcee which is better left unspoken.

Story time:
Back when I was like 9 or 10 I actually had all of the RID prime figures except bulkhead in my entire bin of transformers. I really loved it as a kid and now regret it when I let my mom sell them for around $10 at a garage sale. ESPECIALLY because of the prices some of the figures I had back in the day go for now....
I sold all my RotF and Animated figs in a garage sale for $80. Man do i regret that

I love First Edition Bulkhead. I adore how he practically puffs out like a plastic balloon, giving the look of his girth without being super short for his price point like his Animated counterparts. He even looks good with his rival and fellow bulky bot Breakdown.

Ten years ago I wasn’t old enough to afford my own transformers, and TFP toy line looks like one of the best, really makes me disappointed, all I can hope for now is that Hasbro does some re releasing, or give us more red prime figures

I absolutely love this show as well I consider it a 10/10 masterpiece of a show. Great characters great story great action sequences and amazing music score by Brian Tyler. Like I said a 10/10 masterpiece of a show 👍🏻😁
Prime is still my favourite transformers show of all time, the designs and toys give me such nostalgia, I owned the original bumblebee and Arcee and they were my first figures I remember owning and got the original bulkhead a few years later. And while they’re all in pieces now I still have fond memories of this show and it’s characters.
Dang, I feel old. On disney plus it shows Tangled is 10 years old.

I am rewatching Season 1 of Transformers Prime in Netflix right now, and I plan to watch Seasons 2 and 3 on Tubi TV.

Man this show was my childhood and it’s still the best Transformers ever. The animation still has yet to be topped even ten years later. I really wish I had gotten more of the figures but I was like 6 when the show came out so I really had no way of making money and buying them. The only one I ever got was the deluxe class Wheeljack and I think I still have it but I can’t find it.
But I recently got the First Edition Optimus Prime this weekend at a toy store about an hour away from me, it had so many of the older Transformers figures that I missed out on because I was too young at the time. They also had the Firsr Edition Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and I think Starscream there as well but I could only afford one so I went with Optimus and I do not regret it at all. They were surprisingly affordable too, Optimus was only $50, talk about a good deal.
But man Hasbro has got to make a new toyline for this show similar to that of Studio Series. Some of these hold up really well but others, not so much. The biggest issue is scale, damn it why don’t we have a properly scaled Arcee and Arachnid already? That and people could finally buy figures from this show now that we’re all capable of making money, but at the same time the prices these things go for is insane. Hasbro, get to work! Oh and do the same thing for Animated, RID 2001, the Unicron Trilogy, and the WFC and FOC video games! Come on Hasbro, chop chop!
Your so lucky, I would have snagged up that bulkhead, as I have NEVER seen one in the wild and happens to be the one I'm still missing. Good snag on the OP though.
The opening section takes me back to the excitement I had for the show...though your notif made me think you somehow got a special 5-pack yet to be revealed
Great video! I was a Transformers G1 fan growing up, and then transitioned that into Beast Wars and Beast Machines. Afterwards, I kinda fell off the bandwagon when Armada rolled around, since it was only on Cartoon Network, on Friday afternoons and I was in high school. But when a friend introduced me to Prime, I fell in love all over again! As a new TF toy collector, gonna try to get all the Prime bots one day.
TFP wasn’t just the first transformers show I watched, it was the FIRST Ever show I watched. It was done as if it knew what the world wanted.
I still remember after coming from 1st grade I used to watch the show! 😭 I miss prime!

I agree that FE Bulkhead is one of the best TF figures of all time. I have it in both Hasbro & Takara decos, I love it so much!
That Bulkhead is one of the best Transformer figures ever in my opinion. That chest design is a thing of beauty
Watched the show three times and to this day, I loved the series
I have both the Rachet and Bulkhead shown here (Cliffjumper, too!). All were picked up in lots, and none were things I was particularly interested in at the time of purchase; once I had them in hand, I loved them. TF Prime's toys have some absolutely phenomenal level engineering in the transformations!

Loved the trip down memory lane! The only one of these I don’t have is the First Edition bumblebee. I botched my original RID version trying to customise it, so the only one I have is the shadow strike repaint which although very basic isn’t too bad. Kind of weird that the only TFP figure I don’t have a decent version of is Bumblebee - the one character hasbro continuously barf up throughout most lines and waves!

Agree! Both have good points!
I like that the RID version scales better with the team (is a bit smaller than the first edition one) and she also has a better headsculpt in my opinion.

Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave & Laserbeak were the only season 1 cast of characters until others such as Knock Out & Breakdown showed up midway thru the season; Skyquake was basically a one off character; Dreadwing didn't come until season 2 & was sadly only in Season 2; Shockwave didn't come until season 3 (but had an episode in Season 2)

This part cracked me up. 😂 Now, please do know that I am *not* making fun of you or the figure, but it was very funny how you abruptly cut off when the wheel fell, then a literal second later, you resumed your sentence like nothing happened. Awesome video as always. Luckily I think I own almost all TFP figures and surprisingly the first edition Arcee is also the only one that's broken 🙈. And I have to totally agree, first edition Bulkhead may be the best Transformer figure Hasbro ever created (though I can't wait to finally get my hands on the 86 Hot Rod figure, he may be a big contender)! But Bulkhead is also the first figure that comes to mind when I think of my favorite Transformers figure.
Great review! Ratchet is the only Deluxe I have. I suppose it’s because I really liked the Optimus/Ratchet vs. zombie robots scene. It showed the extent of Prime Megatron’s evil. I also remember Optimus//Ratchet regretting fighting the zombies, being they were made up of fallen Decepticons _AND_ Autobots, who died in a huge battle, many years ago.
I love the weapons they had in the tfp figures especially the transforming hand guns. I have quite a few tfp figures myself!

Transformers Prime is my version of Generation 1. I grew up watching TFP and the Bayverse films. I rewatched it just to remember how much fun the series was.

These Figures just Hit different and even tho the WFC Trilogy did some amazing Figures nothing has Ever Beaten the TFP Main Line in my Opinion.
Really Hope that there will be Masterpiece Versions of These Characters be it Official by Hasbro or a Third Party Company.
These Designs are to this Day my Favourites and yeah i saw The Bayformers First but TFP is my G1 and forever will be.
Its even Hard to Tell who my Favourite Character of the Show is because literally anyone was great! But if i had to Decide it would be Smokescreen, i loved the Idea that He was basically a New Generation Hot Rod and the Fact that He didn't Take the Matrix and instead revived Prime was a really Mature Moment since He wasnt Ready to bear the Responsibility and his Growth is just *Chefs Kiss* Wheeljack and Starscream are close to being my Favourite aswell but yeah Smokescreen is tha One^^

I personally don't like the first edition arcee. I mean, yeah they her look more slimmer but, she's a bit too tall and they remove most of the factors that made me love the prime arcee toy and the character overall. But I gotta say the paintwork as well as the vehicle mode on the 1st edition one definitely looks much better!
Am I the only one who can't think about TF prime without hearing Ratchet yelling "Bulkhead, I NEEDED THAT!!!"?
My favorite was the cyberverse figures from that line!! Followed by Dead end, Rumble and the weponzers Optimus

Arcee figure was absolutely fantastic! For a bike former just spot in figure!
I have to think that the Ratchet figure is a weak link in my mind. Head is spot on but the rest of the figure is a bit iffy, but oh the light piping!!!! I say he’s a weak link, but still better than a lot of figures we get nowadays!
Bulkhead tough one, I like both the first edition and not al deluxe, I think the deluxe scales a little better.
FE Prime is still one of my absolute favourite figures of all time. It just works.

I grew up with prime and the bay verse too I was to young to watch the movies (I was born in 2007) and prime was aired when I was 3 but I remember getting up at 7 am in kindergarten and watching the show so the bay verse and prime will always be a big part of transformers for me.
I also owned the Ratchet from tf prime for my 7th birthday and it was one of my favorite figures, I don't have it anymore because I was horrible at tacking care of my toys.

The first editions were so good they repurposed them for Generations GDO. I picked up the Cliffjumper but missed out on Brawn.
This was my first transformers animated series
Never had the chance to watch TF prime as a kid or any TF cartoons at all cuz we didnt have TV, only managed to watch prime last year and wow it was possibly one of the best cartoons ive seen im already an adult and i loved it, RiD however was somewhat lackluster but i finished it anyway
When TF Prime first came out I was almost 7yo, now I'm almost 17 and it is still the best show I have ever seen. Prime and the Bay movies were my G1 and they were what made me a Transformers fan

I have a tone of my old Prime figures and idolised this show for years as the first episode aired just after my birthday and i got the darkness rising DVD for that Christmas and i was hooked ever since and got my first real transformer in the form of the RID Megatron and now my collection surpasses over 300 figures and will always hold this show in the highest regard

TF Prime was also my favourite Transformers show and will always be, by the way, my favourite of my Autobots in this show will always stand to be Arcee. She is just too cool in this show.
PvP fanboying over a bunch of tfp scenes is something I didn’t know I needed in my life
It would be nice if they re-engineered slightly (using current techniques) & rereleased these for the 10th anniversary.
To this day i've never really known why they replaced the First Edition with the RiD figures so quick. The part count between the lines were similar, the RiD figures weren't much easier to transform. Except for Vehicon the RiD figures were just an inferior attempt at the same figure with a much clunkier, less elegant transformation that looked cheaper but probably cost the same to produce. I'd love to know what office politics lead to the decision to swap them out.

I really wish we in England could have got the 1st edition figs in the UK I have the complete set. The only problem is I wish I could have got the first edition figs over some of the RID ones. I even have the Predacons. Awesome vid thanks for sharing.
