- whaaaaats good internet, jake here, dumb as ever. in today's video I talk about the WEIRDEST Optimus Prime toys. i am a big fan of transformers toys, so this was a super fun video to make. Though it's not technically not a transformers toy, I feel like I should bring up the Optimus Prime themed Mr. Potato Head toy Optimash Prime. It doesn't exactly fit into the same criteria as the toys in the video, but I think it's still worth mentioning as a bizarre toy bearing the likeness of Optimus. And if you've never seen Optimash Prime before, boy are you in for one heck of a sight.
Why do I want the target Optimus Prime now?

Have you seen that Toys R Us Geoffrey Optimus Prime, Not as weird as some of these, but still kinda funny with his giraffe colored legs.
Would be cool to see you do the weird Bumblebee figures! I remember a bunch of tie-ins from when I was a kid and would love to see you cover em ^^

I like that used LG Rhythm as a person, seriously at the time of Space Jam 2 came out I feel that he needs to be recognized as an actual character. 👍
My favorite transforming toy is two little cars by Dahom, that combine and instantly transform into a robotic pegasus when they touch.
Two things:
1) My favorite Optimus Prime figure was the one I built from an official Lego kit (too bad they won't make one for Megatron), but that Mickey Mouse Optimus looks nice too. They sell them at the parks at some point?
2) That Optimus Prime gator from that one G1 episode wasn't actually an alt-mode. The Decepticons took over New York City with Optimus as prisoner, and they dissected him where his right arm acted as a controlled weapon, his head and legs as trophies, and the rest of his parts became the robot gator that patrolled the NYC sewers. I guess the Turtles weren't born when this happened.
The playstation one should have been Megatron mainly for the gray color.
How did nobody think to call the Mickey figure “Optimouse Prime”?

I assume the pepsi optimus prime would actually be more valuable than any of the other prizes nowadays anyway. :V
There's also a Hello Kitty Optimus Prime that transforms from a small chibi-fied truck into Optimus Prime with a Hello Kitty head
I actually own the power bank and the pen Prime. I gotta agree on the pen, the robot mode is The goat, it's stupid how posable he is.
As for the power bank, I got it more as a gag, but I unironically use it from time to time.
Probably someone my favorite figures tbh. I like the transformers figures that serve an alternative use as it's alternative mode.
To this day I'm using a device label Trypticon as my PC mouse, and I own the device label Tigatron and the mp3 Soundwave, there's just a certain charm to them having an actual use outside of being a toy that I enjoy.
On the day this was uploaded they announced a optimus prime recolor of the legacy G2 laser prime target Collab with a recolor ravage in the style of the target dog.

I had an iPod nano first gen as my first iPod. Then I got iPhone touch Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3 and then iPhones after that
I'm a weeeeee bit tired of G1 Prime and more so Bayverse Prime but yeah you right, they could do more studio series versions of RID (2001) or Earthspark Prime and I'd eat it up
I went to a brick fest on a whim and saw a lego Prime. I wanted to get it but I want nearly catatonic when I saw the price.

I wouldn't even get one of them. I had a Gen1 iPod and Gen1 iPod Mini. Usually you expect things to improve with each newer version. Did better by modding them myself than Apple did.

If memory serves, the Alligatorcon was _most_ of Optimus. Megatron also randomly decided to use his right arm (and gun) as a turret, for reasons I suspect only make sense if you too have an arm mounted cannon.
As a optimus collector yes he is the spiderman of hasbro. And he is beloved by almost everyone

The pen prime was done by the high end import company sentinal who are known for innovative engineering on most of there figures that take other companies years to catch up

TBH, I kinda like all the collab figures because they are so weird and off. i wish there were fewer that were outright Optimus Prime, though. I get it - he's the face of the franchise. But I like that we're getting weirdos like Draculus. Original characters weirdos who could, in theory, fit into your cast of characters. Not just ... Optimus Prime.
I think this list sorely lacks G Shock Prime. An Optimus Prime that turns into a watch stand. NGL, I was kinda tempted by the Nemesis version, but that price tag was always way too high. Transformers Gari-Gari Kun Popsicles is probably the weirdest collab "optimus prime". At least he's dressed like Optimus Prime, but if Mickey counts, that guy counts.
Optimas Prime and Spider-Man have that quality that everyone can get behind......Thier both red there I solved it guys 😂........In all honesty it's because most version's of thier character have that quality that makes them iconic and both characters had some pretty sick movie's, shows and most importantly, toy's

pepsi convoi is one of the most loved recolor (that isn't nemesis prime). if a version of the new 'updated g1' comes in that deco, even without the branding, I can bet a bunch of people that are on the fence will bit the bullet
I know the phone optimus transforms into there is (was) a big deal phone in japan, like nokia 3310 was a big deal in euro-usa
the good old disney label, one of the earlier takara's only crossover. there are a few, but the most sought after is the buzz lightyear one. the donald and mickey ones had a bunch of recolors as well, altering the small figures as well
