great review! the previous zs10 has 1dd&4ba as well but this zs10pro are really tuned well and has good ergonomic..i have the zs10pro and i'm loving it..i bought a better cable,8core silver, with chin slider..the AZ10 you are talking about are actually AS10 w/c also has 5drivers per side but it's all BA.

You are correct about the AS10, I wasn't very familiar with the KZ headphones line at the time I made this video. And their IEM names are very similar.
I ended up buying the same silver cable with the slider, it certainly seems a lot more rugged, and hides a little better too.
I haven't used my old IEM's onstage (well, now it's been mostly recording in a studio, for streaming later) since I got these.
I highly recommend the Znari Tips

    Greeting,
I almost bought my first ones IEM, KZ ZSN PRO X and I had no experience with similar headphones before them, I was thrilled to hear them for the first time but also irritated my ears with too loud sound and aggressive high frequencies, but I soon got used to it. I am a musician and I create and playing music, so I have experience with many monitors speakers and headphones of larger format such as AKG K712 PRO, so I generally liked the sound ZSN PRO X. Now it came to me by Friday that I can buy very cheap CCA C12, CCA C10 PRO and KZ ZS10 PRO, and since I don't plan to change those headphones later, I'm interested in which ones are of the highest quality and is there a clear difference between them and mine ZSN PRO X which I already own? I listened to a lot of videos about them and read a lot of reviews
and I can say that I am more confused than at the very beginning. Please help me. thanks in advance

I cut my lawn right before putting this video on, by the time it was over I had to mow it again. Get on with it bro!

FYI...just bought my UM PRO 30's from Sweetwater...$179.00. Can't hardly touch that for such a great IEM!

I really don't know what you were trying to test with a mic between the 2 ear phones but OK.... I have the ZS10 Pro, I used to love them at the begining but now I'm starting to hate them. 1st the highs are harsh, super harsh, not clear at all. 2nd people feels that these sound better because they are V shaped, they are made for listening music in your cellhone... Isolation is very deficient without changing the original tips. On the other hand the Westones are truly made for musicians, mainly for music performance, so if you listen them with your best Pop song they will not flash you because they weren't designed for that, they are more closer to a flat response. Just my 2 cents.

I have a pair of kz zsn. From what I see it looks like the Westone will do better with sound isolation. With the kz in my ears I can still hear what's going on around me . Maybe it's because they don't go in as deep idk. I didn't think the kz would compare to 300 dollar iems though so that's crazy. If they could fit all the 5 drivers in a smaller mold like the westone I'm definitely getting them

I would recommend trying the KZ’s (your ZST’s or any other) out with the Znari or Comply tips, far better isolation than the included tips. Made them even better sounding and also holds them in place better.
I personally prefer the ZNARI tips.

Is anyone a hard-hitting drummer? and would it enhance the sound if you plug it into an audio interface?

I only play guitar live at church. I often struggle to hear myself in the wedges. Would these allow me to hear myself more clearly in the mix?

Absolutely, I play guitar at my church and these are what I use now. My other IEM'S stay in their case now.

Jim's Guitar Garage despite the KZ’s are less comfortable the others are sitting in the case? Interesting thank you great review

Yes, once I upgraded the tips to quality foam ones (I use Znari or Comply, I prefer Znari) they are much more comfortable, and seal great. The sound quality and clarity is much better IMHO with the KZ’s.

yes the kz headphones are great- been using for 2 years at church and gigging. I am a bassist and these are the first in ears I have used that give me good bass response. I had to get the Larger size Comply memory foam tips though to get a good seal. (big ears I guess)

The zs10 sounds to bright for my taste. I liked the sound of the um pro 30. I used the w20 myself.

Dave's audio ; It’s definitely a personal choice. There is more upper midrange and high end with the KZ’s for sure.
Like my description said, You have to “make your own decision” when it comes to audio equipment and music instruments . Some guitar players love the bright sound of a Tele, and others can’t stand the sound of one.
