Have you heard the Hobb's Angel of Death (debut) reissue that High Roller records released in 2017? It sounds INSANE, the new digital remastering had the effect of dialing-up everything to Spinal Tap 11. The guitars and drums and even Hobb's pipes sound bigger and more powerful then before, the only compromise is that the albums very audible bass lines are buried. That iconic Thrash album has never sounded so mighty then what you hear on the HRR reissue. Buy a copy before they become rare and expensive.

My collection of vintage Death Metal LPs came in handy and I fashioned a makeshift raft by joining them together with a waterproof adhesive.
Took my bucket with me to drop a relaxing deuce while watching the DAWG. The cargo vessel still has the tigers on board so I have to make the difficult decision of whether to stick to this raft or get back on ship and face the tigers.

Agreed for the most part about Black War Metal, but I like some Blasphemy songs. Conqueror/Revenge becomes unlistenable after one song-but I wanted to recommend this song by Proclamation - Nocturnal Damnation; this imo is the quintessence of BWM done at its best-but listen to the whole thing; you can't exactly call it a "riff", much less a melody, but it's "of that family". Idk what you'd call it but it's like the spirit of music broke loose on deranged black, dense atavistic "riff".

Mortician is too repetitive , and songs must include at least 23 seconds of actual music for the Heaviness to actually hit full force. The Old Horror movie introductions have been over done. Mortician have one really Heavy riff , but unfortunately it keeps appearing on at least 3 songs per album. The exact same Riff, only the production quality is varied. Will Rahmer has a great Voice, but the musicianship could use some variety.
