I Love Music Connection! Been going there since the mid 90’s the owner Joe is Fantastic and if you call ahead he will have a few selections for you when you come in. His employees are also Really Great!!!

Bloodgood is an amazing band from the 80's. Oz Fox from Stryper helps them out sometimes. my favorite album is Detonation. very highly recommended!! 🤘

I kinda love the chaotic feel of the store but my OCD just couldn't handle that 🤣
Went there today it is rather crazy in there. The owner Joe was super nice though. Once he organizes it i think it will be a good place. I told him i found out about his store from you channel Brendon
It does need a bit of organization or better yet Joe needs a bigger store. He has so much great stuff but not enough space for it all. Thanks for the props!
Brendon, Bloodgood is a Faith Based rock/metal band from the 80’s & 90’s. I think you will definitely like Rock In A Hard Place. Also check out their album Detonation!!! 🎶🎶🎶

Everyone complaining about the clutter. It doesn’t bother me at all. Sure it would be horrible for someone that just wants to pick up what they want & leave but for a browser like me this actually seems pretty cool & fun. Im there to spend some time not just 30 minutes. As long as they have good stuff I’m down for a dig
meanwhile (a la the music in the store) I have "Operation:MindCrime" on order (cd) from Amazon, but it is coming from England and taking its sweet time

Look forward to seeing what you picked up. I live vicariously through your record store visits...I've recently been confined to a wheelchair and would never fit in there😮. Thanks for sharing! I worked in a record store years ago and we used the anti theft cases like that...we called them shucks. I didn't think anyone used them anymore....ah memories 😅 .

Ive been going to music connection since the early 90s and since he moved locations the store has been in total disarray. Its almost impossible now to find anything. You do find some hidden gems each time but man is it a hassle.
I agree 1000%. Its a complete nightmare to look through and find stuff.

Sadly, Michael Bloodgood passed away not long ago so don't know what the future holds for new stuff, though Les Carlson released a great solo album a couple years ago. Watch the video for "Lamb Of God" from the last Bloodgood album, you won't be disappointed...
Amazing shop. Looks increible. And yes, BLOODGOOD are really good and also the guitar player DAVID ZAFIRO made some cool solo albums in the past.

I took the hour + drive from South Jersey a few years back to check this store out, after watching one of your other videos. The store is jam packed and I did find TONS of CDs to buy....BUT I have not been back since.
The store has a ton of stuff, but it is such a mess that its almost impossible to really look for anything specific. I would love to see them clean the store up, alphabetize, etc. It would make for a more enjoyable experience as a customer. Im sure some people like it this way, as it really is a pickers paradise, but for me its more of a hassle then it is enjoyable.
Now if i make the ride up that area, i just go to Sound Exchange. Fantastic store Anthony is running there.
I used to go to this place when it was located up the street before they moved. Always thought the prices were always high.
Bloodgood were a Christian band. The bass player and where the name Bloodgood comes from passed away a few years ago. Oz Fox of Stryper was at one point part of the band.
From what I remember, that Phil Lewis solo CD might not be the best, but it's also not easy to find. Definitely worth picking up at least to trade later.

Bad record store, chaos all over the place, vinyl and cd stack all over, it doesent work for me.
@arilderiksen5560 • Very much like the music I enjoy listening to most (d-beat, crust, punk, grindcore, hardcore, noise) the more chaos the better. Making looking for shit more of an adventure by never knowing for sure what you will find.

For a record store it is pretty messy and cluttered. CD Prices seem high. This store would not be my first choice over Sound Exchange or Princeton or others you took us too where the CD pricing is much better. It will be interesting to see what you picked up there.
Agreed, the store is a mess of epic proportions.
The one time i came here, I had NO idea what the price was for any used CD i picked up. When i took them to the counter they just looked them up on discogs to see what they were selling for to then price them.

@@BrendonSnyder there are tons of really cool releases on retroactive records I discovered a site called boonesoverstock they have tons of really cool bands from the 70 80 and 90 that are really good that I’d never heard of before
Are the used records priced? Do they look up prices at checkout? With all those records and CDs piled up in stacks, this looks like the worst kind of store where the proprietor doesn't give a damn.
The one time i went a few years back, they used Discogs to price the used CDs i brought to the counter. I dont know if it changed since then, but i can say for sure the store has NOT been cleaned up or organized in anyway since i was there back in like 2021
