HI BRENDY MORE CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE BEAUTIFUL FURBALL BEHIND YOU ...RAY GILLEN WAS GREAT VOCALIST OF SABS....I HAVE THE LP OF KNACK GREAT SOUND A MIX OF BEATLES STONES RAINBOW
@@motley123rock unfortunately not seen them live, but I was impressed with their albums. I mean, the “Dangerous Ground” track for instance, catchy like the plague, lol, and the H.E.A.T II album it’s on is my favourite one, but I do like all their stuff really
@@motley123rock mate, I’d jump at the chance to see them live, only wish I could have gone to a few gigs in the years previous. I’m in Cornwall, uk, if they come over here I’ll travel up to see them. All the very best 🤘
1:45 Hello! Another great video! Just a quick comment on The Cherry Bombz. It has been released on CD a long time ago, with two extra tracks. Keep up the good work.👍
I would have bought that Badlands cassette myself just to have it. I found their debut a while ago on cd and now my Voodoo Highway is scheduled to be delivered any day now.
Terry Chimes was touring drummer for Black Sabbath on part of the "Eternal Idol" tour and a one off show in '88. He also appeared in the video for "The Shining".
Nice pickups! I wanted to ask if you can do a video in the future showing your Nirvana collection? I know you have a couple of boxsets of theirs, but do you have the original CD or vinyl pressings of their albums.
I do have the original pressing of Nevermind and others. I also have vinyl 12” singles and CD singles. Somewhere down the line when I can make a correlation to a new release that I buy, you’ll see the collection.
Great pick ups: This is what I got last week and over the weekend: - Olive - Extra Virgin: trip hop from the 90s - Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings - I Learned the Hard Way: great old school r'n'b - Elton John - Rare Masters - Traffic - The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys: thought I had it but I didn't, so picked up a copy
Meant to mention, Didge Digital from The Flood, was also a member of FM. He played on their first three albums. Chris Ousey sang with Virginia Wolf & Heartland among others.
Thobbe Englund is the name of the guitarist/singer. He also has at least one solo release under his actual name, Thorbjorn England (hope I'm not butchering his first name). Moreover, he was in the band Winterlong, as well.
Yeah they were definitely one of the last Glam Metal bands from that era releasing their album in 1992 after Grunge already hit. So they definitely flew under the radar for sure.
Thobbe Englund is an amazing singer-songwriter/guitarist who return to Sabaton & currently in Civil War. Hail to the Priest has 2 Fight songs he covered. He has 6 solo cds all together.
The Badlands debut is an album we need re-released on CD/LP. I only have it on cassette. Wish I bought the CD when I still had the chance. Those old digipaks bring back memories although I was always a little annoyed by them. Yeah, I was not a fan of those Ozzy reissue covers either. Great haul. A lot of those covers would catch my eye too.
Unfortunately it’s unlikely the album will get a rerelease due to royalties being awarded in a lawsuit to victims of Ray Gillen. Rock Candy Records reissued it but once the royalties were awarded elsewhere they couldn’t make money selling it and so it was pulled from production and went out of print. If you find a used copy and want it, that is probably all there will ever be.
@@BrendonSnyder That can't last forever. Jake should have taken that case to the U.S. Supreme Court, and I'm sure he's kicking himself for not doing so. Not trying to get political here, but you and I both know that he got a raw deal from this. These shyster lawyers are the biggest crooks, ever. Ted Nugent was right about that. And Jake had a great point in an interview - the ones who really suffer the most are the fans who will never get to hear the music of Badlands or get to buy the albums. I am one of those fans who suffered from this case. Jake's also correct.
Status Quo's 80s material is actually good, especially the early 80s UK hit "Dear John." The band's sound is unique and one of a kind. I don't even know who to compare them to - maybe The Kinks or sometimes even The Who.
Bloodgood were a terrific Christian melodic metal band. If you like those two, I highly recommend their 1987 album, Detonation. Sadly, band leader & bassist Michael Bloodgood died a couple of years ago.
Like BLOODGOOD very much. One of my fave white metal/hard rock bands ever. RECKLESS LOVE very good too, the first 3 albums. The last two are not very good imo. Cool shirt too.
Brendon , thanks buddy , i have one question for you? I have only 3k cd but sometimes its hard to remember in record store about waht copy i have , how you remember 12 k cd ? I belive sometimes you make "mistakes"
Cool...two videos in one day! Also a guest appearance by Noodles! Always interesting finds...thanks for sharing .

H.E.A.T great band you won’t be disappointed.
Yeah they are really good, catchy as hell
@@HaakonOdinsson agreed have seen them live twice with Kenny and Eric both great singers.

It makes me so happy that you picked up Bloodgood. I hope you like them as much as I do. Detonation is my favorite album from them.
I have enjoyed the two albums. I’ll have to check out Detonation.
Beat me to the Detonation recommendation!
Yeah , bloodgood is great 👍. Great find Brendon.
H.E.A.T lead singer is Erik Grönwall who was just in Skid Row

Dave Tregunna played bass in Sham69 then in The Lords Of The New Church.
Became more Quo fan through the years, Piledriver is a great album to start with.
I would have bought that Badlands cassette myself just to have it. I found their debut a while ago on cd and now my Voodoo Highway is scheduled to be delivered any day now.
Cool! Glad you were able to track down Voodoo Highway. I’ve always liked that one best.
Nice Video thx for sharing

Just found that red Bloodgood on vinyl up here in Canada
...pretty soon, you're gonna need a bigger boat. 😁
Terry chimes was the drummer for the clash on the clash’s debut LP -- Anthony ( queens NYC)
My Little Funhouse, haven't heard mention of them in years. 1st CD single I ever bought was their 'I Want Sone of That'

I have those 2 Bloodgood cds on tape.
How can you remember what you have - and what you don’t ?
You can’t possibly drink 🥃
That's what Discogs is for
You mean "CASSINGLE." :)
The Cherry Bombs record is a live album I believe.
Bloodgood is 80’s style Christian metal, much like Stryper
Reckless Love sadly no more but great band.
What online sites, sources do you look up bands and music you find and consider buying?
Weird al yankovic did a parody of My Sharona making it his very first parody called My Bologna.
Yep! 👍
Hear that Weird Al married Vanna White.
Just got the new Metallica compact disc but havent listened to it yet..Looks interesting though
Reckless Love another band worth adding everything they've released. Also check out Pretty Wild if you like these guys...enjoy your new finds.
sorry you got the lita stuff wrong
Some of these thrash metal bands that scream or growl out their lyrics are sometimes just too much for me.
