These visits to record stores in New Jersey are really cool, Brendon always brings rarities for us, the Channel's followers.
Glad to hear you’re enjoying these episodes and the finds that goes along with them.
@@BrendonSnyder Your videos are really cool, I'm from São Paulo, Brazil, a fan of your channel.
@@BrendonSnyder👍... I love Princeton record exchange.. I drive two times a month from NYC to pick up CDs for my jazz CD collection.
.
You're like a kid at Christmas.....love it!!! I feel the same😊
It’s the best feeling 👍
I used to live in NJ. Now I'm in Arizona. I miss NJ's summers. To dang hot in AZ right now. 116 degrees. lol. Happy Birthday!!
A trip to the Princeton record exchange is a guaranteed great video from Brendon. The Princeton record exchange is the best record store in the United States. If you have not been there, you need to go.
Thanks for putting that Yardbirds CD back in the bin, I picked it up on my recent visit to PREX!!
Another great episode about my favorite record store. I'm fortunate enough to live about 30 minutes away, and stop there either once a week or every other week. I never come away empty handed!
There’s nothing greater than taking the day off from work & going to a record store
Happy Birthday and many more
I love hearing the random music they play while you’re digging the crates! Shout out to the random woman putting on makeup at the end! 😅
Tesla.. Mule.. Steel❤... Mule cd is on Amazon UK for £6.75
Crowes CD is one of my favourite albums ever.. Recorded in less than 10 days it's a masterpiece!!.. My friend worked for Def American back in the day.. she acquired a ton of signed early original stuff and gave it all to me.. Now worth thousands.. Met the original line up too.
Love the Coverdale/Page album! It’s still in rotation at my house. Happy Birthday brother!🙏🏻🎧🎂🎉
I love Marillions Holidays in Edan. Very underrated album.
Great video as always, Brendon! Hope you had a great birthday.
Thank you Will, it was very nice!
Happy Birthday, Brendon. I hope you had a lot of fun!
Happy birthday! Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Sean!
That may be my favorite Crowes album too . Had the debut on cassette. Time flies 😂
Happy belated birthday to my fellow Architect 🏗
Thank you!
I love these videos.
Ben Mink plays electric violin on the Rush song “Losing It” from Signals.
Happy belated birthday.
Happy B-day, mine was back on the 2nd of July.
Have you ever visited Amoeba in LA?
I could spend an entire day there!
The best music store here in where I live (Northern VA) is The CD Cellar (they sell vinyl as well).
A block over is small world coffee. I recommend the cold brew with blueberry creme, if available. And the brownies are usually good too
I like to eat CDs 👍
Cool visit to the record store and great finds. 🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥
Happy Birthday again. It would be nice to have a store to go to. Wal-Mart is it here and it's pretty pathetic. Thank God for Amazon, especially since CD Universe bit the dust. It would have been nice to have some more Coverdale/Page. I have all the Circa.
Happy Birthday, Brendon
Thank you Matthew!
Happy Birthday, Brendon!
Thank you Barry!
That XTC album is fantastic. I got so many people into that band from that album. So many people only know them from “Dear God”, which I don’t even care for.
Loving the Husker Du in the background!
English Settlement record is a masterpiece!
Wow, second comment here. You just helped me solve a mystery, way back a friend played a tape, something about Sheila and tequila, just saw it on that Steelheart CD there! For decades I couldn't remember what band did it!
Degarmo and Key were one of the early Jesus Music bands from the 70s. I don't have any of their albums but they are a great band with a great legacy. I did a history of Christian Rock where I mentioned that most bands were Inspirational, Folk, Light Rock and Pop, etc from the late 60s to 1980. There were 8-12 bands that were more guitar driven ranging from Moderate Rock to Hard Rock like Degarmo and Key, Petra, Servant, Rez Band, Jerusalem, Darrell Mansfield, Barnabas, etc. Modern Christian music exploded in the 80s as we all know.
Some absolutely killer finds there Brendon...love doing the record store thing on my birthday...great excuse to buy up large!..😂
Love The Cult. Ian Astbury is an absolute legend. As it happens, they are coming to my hometown of Christchurch, New Zealand as part of their 40 year anniversary tour. Got my ticket...can't wait!
A band I have just discovered via their album 'Slam', is the Dan Reed Network. I was absolutely blown away by it. Are you a fan of their work Brendon?
Nice haul...I really like Robert DeNiro's Waiting on the Bananarama album. I'm sure you'll recognize Cruel Summer.
Happy Birthday Brendon! Despite more than a week late 🙂
Nice video as usual 👍🏻🙂
A good set of D. Sherenian CDs. I have two or three of them on Russia pressed discs, both licensed and not so official, good stuff within prog-, fusion-, prog-metal whatever, might be not ground-breaking but on a very high level, surely.
I wish we had record stores like that in my area of Alabama. We have a few used record places that have a limited amount of old cds, but nothing that has a mix of new and old.
Happy Birthday!🎼
Happy Birthday Brendon 🥳
Congratulations Happy Birthday Brendon, Feliz Aniversário Man.
Thank you!
Always good stuff and the prices are good as well. I have a love/hate thing with these videos. I love them because I love seeing the cool stuff they have but hate it because I can’t go to the store and shop there.
I was hoping you were going to buy that Mickey Mouse Disco album.
Happy Birthday 🎂
Never miss your PREX videos. I’ll swing back there soon! I recommend all the early XTC albums, English Settlement, Black Sea, etc. Such a smart band.
Happy Birthday bro! Looks like ya got some killer loot!!!! Stay safe! G.
Thanks Greg!
Great video! Love the new live commentary style. Hope you had a Awesome birthday
Great poster of Tom Waits there too😄wonder when or if he will put out some new stuff.
Happy belated birthday! so funny that i have birthday 21 july, and you 22th, close)
Thank you and Happy Birthday to you too!
@@BrendonSnyder Thanks!
Good finds, enjoy and thanks for sharing.
I was there back in May during graduation, Mother Hubbard's cupboard was almost bare, the reunions and graduation crowds had virtually wiped them out. BUT I did pick up some sweet vinyl!!! Got a new copy of the Allman's Live at the Filmore for $25!! It was perfect. I plan visits to family around my trip to the Record Exchange.
Happy Birthday Brendon! I was just there this past Friday! Great little store!
Hope you had a great birthday ,
ben mink also produced kd lang and barenaked ladies 2nd album. some great cd u showed
You could sell that dwarf Japanese maple tree in your yard to a Bonsai Society for a big chunk of change!!!! More money, More Music!!
Slade YES!
I think that Bananarama album has Cruel Summer on it. I’m sure you’ve heard that. That is still one of my favorite ‘80s songs. The perfect summer song. Puts me in a great mood every time I hear it.
AHHH you passed on Micky Mouse Disco???? Gotta have it for Disco Duck! LOL I had that as a kid in vinyl.
I think I do too 😂

Thank you Juli!
Last exit were an amzing band ,great mixture of free jazz rock and noise check them out
All the albums I show are ones I own or at a minimum know and have listened to. 👍
Loved Kiss Exposed 💋 I had it when I was a kid probably 14? I loved kiss and had everything on cassette tape but sadly I lost everything in '14 due to a flood 😢 I'm trying to get the music I love and grew up with. It sucks because I can't get out due to my handicap so online is my only option and I still need a lot especially GNR after appetite.
Bananarama ?...not just pretty faces! the first three albums are just 80's classics, the deep cuts... as good as the hits...still sound great today/Mojo issue is a great one...the Chameleons article is a good thing....this band is a treasure...for those who don't know them.... check out ''strange times''.
Brendon, I imagine that they carry Japanese import CDs as well as the domestic releases.
XTC is great, I hope it won't be your last pick up from that band.
'Venus' is a cover by Bananarama. I don't really care much for it. The original song 'Venus' is by a Dutch band called Shocking Blue, and is much superior. I would highly recommend checking that out.
No, as I said, I don’t like the song Venus. One band doing it is enough 😂 But thanks for the extra info.
Hers what I picked up today 2 new to me CDs by a band I never heard of Balaam & the Angel: Live Free or Die 1988 & Days of madness 1989 Heard Rock & only 99 cents each. Have you heard of them? What does the band IF sound like? XTC is a great my favorite Album by the band is Oranges & Lemons & the side project The Ducks of Stratosphear. Nice score from PREX & some very good prices to. HaPpY bIrThDaY
I have to make my way out here. Jacks in red bank’s used CD’s have not really turned over and used CD’s I’ve gotten off of Amazon have had disgusting stuck together booklets or cracked discs.
BROWN SABBATH HAS GREAT VIDEOS.
Do you think vinyl prices are good? Just one question. I could see some prices in your video and I have no idea if they are expensive or not for americans. But I'm sure that here in Brazil they are very.. very expensive. Thanks
happy birthday Brendon Snyder
🇧🇷
Doctor Eddie Ganja Here I'm trying to Find Talas Live Speed on Ice on CD Great Live album
Hi Brendon check out 'Electrafixion - Sister pain' and tell me this is not Grunge before Grunge existed. This was a side project of Echo & the Bunnymen.
Electrofixion came out in 1995 after Grunge which broke in 1991. Also I own the album and do not think it sounds like Grunge.
