Nice vid, could you also explain ਕਿਥੋਂ ਦੇ and ਕਿਥੋਂ ਦੀ? For example, when we say “where are you from?, we might say “ਤੂੰ ਕਿਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਆ” or “ਤੂੰ ਕਿਥੋਂ ਦੀ ਆਇਾ”, could you explain the rules and how we use these phrases?

It depends on pronoun and masculine or feminine subject. ਤੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਦਾ it is masculine singular. ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਹੋ it is a plural or people use ਤੁਸੀਂ to respect people. ਤੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਦੀ ਆ it is feminine singular used for a girl

@@AmrinderMK Thanks, but what if the sentence is referring to an object instead, does that also impact its gender? For e.g. if someone came from bazaar which is masculine, would they say: “ਮੈਂ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ/ਦਾ ਆਇਾ”. or would they instead say “ਮੈਂ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦੀ ਆਇਾ”.

No, it's not. Going to depend on bazaar. It depends on ਮੈਂ

@@AmrinderMK Thanks for your help, though I have heard my family and relatives use those phrases on different rules, it might just be because our boli is different. My heritage goes to jalandar, doabe.

@@Ram_SM no, it's same bro. I think you are not explaining your question properly. Give me a complete sentence.
