@@mikeloomis687 Sam Harris claims to be a Buddhist, and from the videos iv'e seen he can't even get that right, he has no direct personal experience of the psychological transformation from Liberation as self compared to Liberation from self. He's weak, that's why he blocks anyone that disagrees with him on twitter, he's thin skinned and just as caught up in egoism as Anton Lavey or Crowley. Both who died confused and whimpering worms.

Your understanding of anything related to cosmology is basically lacking completely. What you stated makes zero sense. I tried to figure out what you’re attempting to say but I can’t. You’re trying to speak about the beginning of our observable universe and you claim it destroyed. This is completely and absolutely wrong and ass backwards. It was only creation. It was the beginning and the creating of all elementary matter. Hydrogen, helium and a little lithium. That’s what started out as atomic elements in the big bang and then the stars spectacular supernovae created the rest of the elements required for life. The Big Bang ONLY created. It in no way or sense destroyed anything. All that you see and all that you encounter in your life is due to the Big Bang starting out everything in existence with cosmic evolution driving the rest of it to this present time. This is extremely concise just to show you how ass backwards your comprehension of the Big Bang is. The Big Bang was our creator nature used to create our universe. As far as science has discovered the Big Bang was an extremely small infinitely dense and hot singularity that wthe beginning of everything. The beginning of natter. The beginning of time. The beginning of space. The beginning of literally everything we know of in existence. Learn about something before commenting about that something like you did here because you are completely ignorant and naive about anything related to cosmology. There also was no explosion. There was no bang. It was basically an instantaneous expansion of matter and energy.

@@michealedwards7849 Fortunately the question of proving or disproving does not exist, since in my understanding the person shows “only” his/her heart which eventually determines his/her direction (provided there’s a “God/Godess”, which I guess we’ll find out)

It's not religion that necessarily needs to be destroyed, it's specifically these systems of postmortem justice that just stink of control-by-fear/shame.
These discussions and opinions are pointless unless first we can set out a definition of what God is, only then can we argue his/her/its existence.

If god made mankind in his(?) image does that mean that god has a navel? If so, what was the purpose of it? Did he have a mommy? Does he ever get constipated?
It argues also the deep question no one ever answers too. If the universe had to have a creator and that creator is this god (who conveniently conflicts with all other religions gods) then it must be asked did this god also have a creator. If the universe had a creator, then god must have had a creator. Who or what was gods creator? An all knowing, omnipotent and all good god or creator that created this world foresaw all of the suffering, all of the evilness, all if the starvation of kids everyday, all of these mass shootings, and on and on and on with all of the evil goings on in the world. Now he knew all of this evil acts were to come right??? So where is he to stop it??? Where is he to be this “god is good” type??? He is not here obviously! And do not say he works in mysterious ways or this is his plan!!!! That is a lazy cop out that makes me want to puke! He is not all knowing. He is not omnipotent. He is benevolent and a narcissist. He is evil because he has allowed and foresaw all of this evil beforehand right? So yes your god is an evil god. He is a derelict. He’s the do nothing god that hides from us ashamed at what he’s done. I detest and despise your god because he is a do nothing narcissist. Now your god isn’t real so nothing I stated will be used against me. I do not believe in the supernatural nonsense that requires a mystical mind. There is probably a creator, the creator is probably not the God of the Jews, Christians & Muslims. The order of the universe is astounding, things like the gravitational constant which makes life possible is extraordinary. It is perfectly plausible that the earth and life on earth are the products of an intelligence.
Religion is still here. Ricky hasn't destroyed anything. Ricky will turn to dust and religion will still be around.
It's true. Charlatans keep coming up with ways of gaining power and influence over people by using fairytales that play off of their existential fears. That's likely not going away unfortunately.
Ricky makes some extraordinary claims for himself here again, namely that the chemicals acting apon the chemicals inside of the matter of "his" brain are a sound foundation for proper logical inference and truth! There is not one single screk of evidence for such a convenient and miraculous phenomenon, period! Try engaging in logic an odd time yourself Ricky! My feeling is you should stick to the comedy, you are good at that. Here you are clearly out of your field and out of your depth!

Chemicals acting apon chemicals inside of matter do not produce proper logical inference never mind anything resembling truth and there is absolutely no evidence of any description available to us to demonstrate that the same chemicals will produce such a miraculous effect! When you fail to address this problem and you will you are left withan even greater problem if that is even possible and that is this, who out of the population is producing the proper logical inference and truth? Me, you, Ricky Gervais, Vladimir Putin, Joseph Stalin, Mother Teresa, Joe Biden, Kim Jong Un, Vlodamir Zelenski. Its a problem of magnanimous proportions growing expediently the more one thinks about it and not an answer is sight especially not from this comedian.
I would suggest it's pathetic to deny there is a creator.
It has to do with desires. They don’t want there to be a God Who will hold them accountable. So their souls are stubborn upon disbelief.
